  1. I hope you have as much fun as that giraffe is having.
  2. I beat the Da Vinci DLC a few days ago as well. Definitely the best Assassin's Creed DLC I've played.
  3. I beat the main story level in LittleBigPlanet Vita last night... and doing so caused me to achieve my life long dream of reaching level 13 on PSN.

    Wii U

    Well, that certainly was something.
  5. The one on the top row, second to the left, doesn't even look like a dwarf.
  6. Really??? That's crazy. The only problem I had in that game was sometimes doing the Skyward Strike, and that might have been more my fault than the controllers.
  7. Dayman! Oooooh! Fighter of the nightman!! Ooooohh! Champion of the sun. He's a master of karate, and friendship, for everyone.

  8. That was great!! I can't get over how much that girl actually looks like Olivia, it's great. I completely forgot it starts on Friday!!!!
  9. I'd play that game up for 3-4 hours at a time and would have to recalculate once.. maybe twice a session. Not to mention it's the most unique, interesting, and accurate battle system in years (besides Dragon Age 2, of course!!!), it's definitely too bad you feel that way.
  10. When I first read that I thought you said you watch Doctor Who in a bar. My reaction was "I need to move to the UK".
  11. I know I'm about five years late, but I finished the first season of Mad Men last night. Those last few episodes were fantastic.
  12. God dammit! Is there anything worse than watery salsa (besides pandas)? Like fuck.... why didn't we just let the nazi's win if this is the shit that's happening to us. Same results.

Having water build up around or on your food when you microwave it is worse. Soggy food that isn't meant to be soggy sucks.

This is why you make your own damn salsa and don't bother with restaurants that have shit salsa.

DO I LOOK LIKE A SCIENTIST TO YOU!?!?!?!

  13. No it wasn't! I quoted it! Getting horribly off topic on things that are no longer relevant is what PXOD does best.
  14. Thanks tips. Here's Strangelove's post "No game on the Wii would suffer incredibly from proper controller use. All the good stuff: Twilight Princess, SMG1, 2, NMH1, NHM2, and whatnot would play just fine and sometimes even better with a regular controller." He was speaking definitively. I thought you of all people, as someone who takes every chance to point out the exception to everything anyone says, would appreciate it!
  15. I can get into all sorts of different styles of fantasy... but... Pandaria... I don't know, maybe I just don't "get it" but it looks pretty terrible.

Considering it's a joke gone serious I don't blame you.

There was an ad on youtube once for it, and I legit thought it was a sequel to Kung Fu Panda.

  16. I can't remember where I read it but apparently if you are playing AC3 at the same time, there's a mission in Liberation that you can play as Connor in.
  17. I know you hate motion controls, but Skyward Sword, which in my opinion is up there with Wind Waker as some of the great Zelda games (but maybe not to ALTTP or OoT standards), would not be playable with a standard controller, and that Wii Motion Plus is what helps make the game so great. Gimmicky is not a world I would use to describe it.
  18. Yes, however, most powerful system does not always equal most popular with the serious gamers. PS2 was a hardcore gaming machine (and popular with casual gamers) and it wasn't as powerful as the Game Cube or the XBox. The PS1 wasn't as capable at producing 3D graphics and it was more successful than the N64. I think what really did the Wii in was the lack of HD. The advent of HD screens made everything non-HD essentially obsolete. So now, even when there are some Wii games I want play, like Last Story and Xenoblade, they don't get played because they look fucking awful. (Also lack of an online system, achievement system, and 3rd party support also hurt the Wii). This time, there won't be a major technological shift like HD gaming. I'm not saying the Wii U will be the serious gamers choice over the PS4 (I personally have invested far too much time in my PS3/Vita trophies/friends list/game collection/etc to go to anything other than Sony unless someone gives me a REALLY good reason), but I think we could see a repeat of something like the GCN era. Maybe. Or maybe not. Who knows.
  19. I'd love to see them open up the bank full of money they got from Wii and DS sales, and have them throw a bunch of money at Bethesda and make Fallout 4 a Wii U exclusive. Not that I want to play that on the Wii U but I love fan boys getting their panties in a knot like that. But honestly, they've locked up lots of Japanese IPs, Monster Hunter, Bayonetta, Dragon Quest, time for them to look west, I think.
  20. Ugh only one episode left
  21. I am inclined to agree with you, however, Square did release The 3rd Birthday in North America, just months before Type-0 was finished. Obviously Final Fantasy has a much bigger name than a franchise that hasn't seen a new game since the PS1. I think DQX could do OK in North America, since they gained a lot of traction on that series with DQIX, but they'd probably have to take the Monster Hunter route and go without subscriptions in North America... time will tell.
  22. Considering we haven't gotten Type-0, Dragon Quest X, or Bravely Default, or even an announcement for those titles, it seems that western releases aren't a high priority for Square Enix these days. I mean, it makes sense, as Japan has such a larger consumer base. OH WAIT--!!! It would make sense to release it in the west, but the fact that they didn't mention a North America release concerns me.
