I'll agree with that. He needs a game like Ezio's Revelations. But, you know, without the tower defence, and the overall crappiness. But a more personal story, where he can get some resolution.

So I'm being a Halloween grinch and I'm not handing out candy. As I mentioned last year, we had kids starting very early, very few of them are neighbourhood kids, they just knock on your door and hold out their bags. Yo, dudes, it's called "trick or treat". Also we had multiple adults from the ghetto trick or treating, not in costumes, just looking for candy... which made us a little uncomfortable. Never mind the stress it is on the dogs, so fuck 'em, no candy for any of you this year!

Yeah the ending was pretty bad. I did enjoy the other modern day stuff outside of the temple, it was cool finally doing assassiny stuff in modern day with Desmond. But man, that ending.... five games training this guy, leading to... that? And yeah, I liked AC3 too, I like Connor as a character, and frankly, it was nice seeing a different ethnicity and culture get a lead role in a game for once. The homestead missions made him a lot more likeable. The game had some technical issues, and probably could have explained some of it's systems better. If you don't like his relationship with the assassins just wait for his grandfather.

Jesus christ. Marvel Studios, man. Remember when fucking X-men 2 was the pinnacle of superhero movies? After Winter Soldier and Guardians, I've had a lot of faith in them, and this trailer justifies that. And it doesn't even have the witty Whedon banter! I am now more excited for the Hulk vs Hulkbuster scene than I am for the entirety of Batman vs Superman.

It's definitely worth $17, but this point, a few months after release, it'll probably be on sale at some point (or free on plus) so just hold out.

The lack of story, and the missing characters is especially disappointing. I can get behind a mediocre Korra action game if it has a good story and presentation. This does not.

Shadow or Mordor Man! What a game. Totally makes up for Arkham getting delayed, and then some. The story could use some work, and I could do with a more varied overworld, but this was the first time in ages I felt compelled to do all the side quests in a game. By the end of it Talion is such an overpowered bad ass, but I don't end up minding because it feels so rewarding just chopping through a huge mob of orcs. I could have done without goddamn fucking Troy Baker. Talion sounded like Joel with a bad British accent. Developers need to realize that there's other voice actors out there besides Troy and Nolan North. It's getting a little distracting.

Those two people are really important, unlike all the hundreds of thousands of people wanting DLNA support.

That makes sense cause the little LAN logo in the top right of the PS TV's screen would disappear and get replaced with a wifi logo. Either way, not the way to do it unless your PS TV and PS4 are in the same room but, what would the point of that be?

Ok so I got a PlayStation TV, I tried it out a little at lunch time. First of all, as bad as the Vita's UI was on a touch screen, it's worse on a controller. That said, everything else is pretty great. I booted up FFX and it looks not bad on my 40" Samsung in the bedroom. I'd be interested in a direct comparison between it and the PS3 version. As for remote play, when I first tried it my PS4 was set to "connect directly" which is great if you're away from the home. I tried some Mordor and found things sluggish, impossible to counter, and significantly worse than Vita over wifi. Then, I turned direct connection off, and, well I'm confused because now the PS TV and the PS4 are.... connected..... directly.... to each other I DON'T FUCKING KNOW. But it worked FLAWLESSLY. I noticed the slightest bit of lag on Mordor, but nothing on Infamous. I'll try an FPS like Killzone when I get off work.

WHAT!?!

This showed up on my way out the door this morning. I had enough time to open it up and look at the console... they weren't lying when they said it's the size of a deck of cards. It'll be going into my bedroom, I got a direct connection to the router (which the PS4 is already connected to in the living room) so remote play should be great. I should go pick up another DS4 though, as I can't go back to the DS3. I'll post some thoughts in the Vita thread at lunch or after work.

Trying to get a level 25 ruin, this is awful. But once I get that, I just need to finish the last mission and then I'll have the platinum.
