Nintendo gets the absolute worst KH games. I wonder if its done on purpose. Otherwise, I kind of hate the first KH game now. Its so bad when I went back to it. Small stages with shitty platforming isnt fun. Birth By Sleep is the definitive KH game to me followed by KH2.

Kotaku tried to explain why anime characters look white to us again and to be honest, I still dont understand it. Theyre fucking white. Any other explanation just seems to want to avoid the probable self loathing of the Japanese.

Its been years in the making, but I finally caved. It was 56 dollars with shipping and tax included. It has 10 cartridges and each cartridge lasts about as long as a pack of cigarettes, so I should be ok for a while. The guy I was hanging out with yesterday had one and Ive seen other people use them, so it got me curious. I read a shitload or reviews and this is one of the best and cheapest ones. Im also fucking tired of going outside in the cold to smoke. I think thats the main reason.

I had a lot of fun with it, but it had some problems. Compared to the Galaxy games and even SMW, this game is short. It really needed more power-ups. It needed more than 3 bosses. I HATE that I cant fly with the tanooki suit. I know it would have made the game piss easy, but fuck them. Not only that, but during the end credits Mario and a bunch of Toads start...flying in their tanooki suits! Nintendo is trolling. Also, why the hell did everyone int hat game have a tanooki tail? It was pretty pointless. Other than that, this is one of the best Mario games Ive ever played. If you have a 3DS, you have to get it.

Did anyone play FF: The 4 Heroes of Light? Was it good? How bad was not being able to pick targets?

My memory is hazy... I didn't play it all the way through, it's been on my "get back to ASAP" list for awhile now. I remember it was good, very old school Final Fantasy. It just had the misfortune of being released right after Dragon Quest IX which overshadowed it.

Was ok actually. Target selection was mostly fine, has a nice visual style too.

It is good. Not picking targets is a limitation they put in on purpose, and all the strategy revolves around manipulating that. It's a different kind of JRPG battle strategy, but it's good.

Ive only played the first one and I actually never finished it. I did like it though. I wish there were some kind of compilation for the old games. Even iOS only has the first one.

Shit. Im trying to get a job at a bar thats going to open in my neighborhood and the lady who owns the bar asked me to hang out tonight at a bar we both go to often and I got pretty drunk. I didnt act like an asshole or say something tasteless, but there were 2 other people(dudes) who also co-own the bar and I dont think they liked me too much. One of them was her husband/life partner/whatever. Im really nervous now. Shit.

This is pretty close to the TvC stick. That stick is superb, its by far the best "cheap" stick Madcatz has made and the WWE stick is a bit better.

Sonic CD is the shit. Its such a good game. It veers pretty far off the Sonic formula, but its better off for it.

Its an upgraded version of the SSF4 stick that came out a while ago. Its ugly on the outside, but well made on the inside. And isnt that what really counts?

Other M is a lot of fun if you just want a good action game and arent a Metroid fanboy. Just skip the cutscenes, man. Its also one of the prettiest games on the Wii.

$30 at Gamestop and with a $5 off coupon it came to about $27 dollars with taxes. Totally worth it. This thing is sturdy as hell. It just feels well built and the reviews for it have been great. Now to remove the WWE art........... ...though I am a hipster. I could keep it on there for the sake of irony. Hmm...

Mostly because I think Sony is going to need a big game or 2 to launch their PS4, and I think Uncharted 4 would be the perfect way to do it, especially if its 2 or 3 years from now, when nostalgia will be in full force. I know id get a PS4 just for Uncharted 4. Honestly, as long as Naughty Dog remains exclusive to Sony consoles, Ill keep buying Playstations.

The thing is, outside of the main series, FF games are still really good. Dissidia is fun, Crisis Core is one the funnest rpgs ive played in a long time, the Tactics games are also awesome. Birth By Sleep is the best KH game of them all and it came out last year. I know a lot of PS1 FFT fans hated FFTA 1 and 2, but I loved those. The remakes they release are often NOT lazy cash-ins. FF4 was made from the ground up with new features galore on the DS and the FF4 on the PSP is a beautiful 2D gem. I know the main FF series is something people find precious to them and SE have fucked them up, but its no reason to hate the entire company.

The only THQ games I used to buy were the WWF games back in the PS1 and PS2. And Square Enix does a lot more than Final Fantasy. Despite what you may think of their "big" 360/PS3 games, their original PSP stuff often ends up being awesome. Not only that, but Nier was awesome, and they also published Deus Ex HR and the new Tomb Raider game.

I actually dont see a new Uncharted game coming out till the PS4. I dont have any evidence or facts, its just a gut feeling.

Enslaved is indeed awesome. The fighting mechanics needed work and the game is short, but its worth playing. Its a good experience.

Ive heard that WKC2 is basically a modified version of WKC1 with a few extra places added. Thats disappointing. When they said WKC1 was included in WKC2, I imagined all the places and people from WKC1 with something of equal size and length on top of that because of WKC2. But I dont think thats the case.

that's why I'm worried about the TV - it seems all but confirmed, and would be enough of a games machine for a lot of people not to bother with a dedicated console.

WKC gets a lot of shit, but tis actually a decent game. The story is kind of not there and the graphics arent anything special, but the game has its charm. I guess its a Level 5 thing. Its just...pleasant to play. Its hard to describe.
