On a features level, FF13-2 is impressive. I havent played a jrpg with this much stuff crammed into it in years. They really put a lot of work into it and unlike FFX-2, hardly anything from the previous game was reused. I guess developing the Crystal engine was what made FF13 take so long to come out. It just has a sheen to it, its quality. The graphics actually look better too and fuck the haters, but i like the music. Its better than FF12 and 13's right off the bat. Its actually memorable. Ive also personally have never seen it go below 30fps on the PS3, and Im a stickler about that. Its weird, but Japan has impressed me. Its been a while. I still have the same complaint though - its hardly ever connected to FF13. At least not in a truly meaningful way. They could have changed a few characters and the game would have worked as FF15. It definitely stands on it's own.

And I think Im going to stop buying stuff now. At least until Mass Effect 3...and Silent Hill HD Collection. THEN Ill stop.

I got FF13-2 this morning and im actually loving it. Its much better than I expected. Im about 4 hours in and its definitely better than FF13.

You'll find that Nintendo will throw out a lot of 10 Coin surveys once you get a few games under your belt. If you had/have a Wii, everything you download has a Post Survey. I was able to work my way to Gold status by three games and those surveys.

I think Amazon is out of the Omega dlc, but theyre now offering $20 in credit. Which im using for RE Revelations next week. I also have Prime, so I should get this on thursday. $28 with prime shipping. I figured that even if I wait a month or 3, this is as cheap as Im going to get it. Damn Mario games....

Love Tim And Eric. Saw them live a year or 2 ago and it was pretty funny...til it turned into a rock show. I didnt even know they were making a movie though. Ill have to check it out.

It was $15 on Amazon. $20 on Glyde. Im hoping to get back into it. The last one I played was Firered, so Ive got a lot of catching up to do. Now to check the mailbox every day this week like a madman.

FF13-2 comes out tomorrow and im still not sure if im getting it tomorrow. I need a game to hold me over til ME3 and Tekken X SF.

Still not enough to justify owning the thing.
I'm really not a fan of the console at all. Most of what I want is on PS3 or importable on PS3. The rest is on PC. -
Lost Odyssey... is soooooo slow. Great story, IMO, but combat system is the worst. thats my opinion anyway. Plus, forcing to play to annoying little kids is.. annoying.
I did spend 59 hours on it though, and almost 100% completed it, cept for 1 treasure I think. I wanted to be an achievement whore back then.

Goddammit, the Eshop is so goddamn awfully priced. I want Links Awakening DX bad, but im not paying $6 for it. Theyre fucking crazy. Then they got shit like Zenonia for $7 or $8. Sheesh. The cameras on the 3DS are awful terrible. Im sure i had a phone in 1999 with a better camera. Other than that, im loving the shit out of it. It feels sturdy as hell, the stylus is tons better than the DS one, and the 3D on RE Revelations is awesome. My room has really bad lighting so, I havent been able to use the AR cards yet. I got Ocarina of Time and Im having a lot of fun with it too. I will say that from the launch games i had played, I really thought the graphics were PSP quality, but then I played the RER demo and the graphics are truly awesome on this thing. Im no graphics whore, but that made me feel a lot better about my purchase. I also just ordered SSF4 off Amazon since it was $15 bucks.

I also bought this off PSN today since I sold my disc copy a few weeks back. This is the first time ive seen a PS2 running on a PS3. It looks really good. Surprisingly good. Im wondering if this is because its 2D. Even playing on a PS2 with the best cables doesnt make games look as good as this. The only thing that sucks about it is that there are only 3 settings for the screen - normal, wide, or off. Off just blows it up to the size of your tv, but the top and bottom are cut off. Normal is the best one, but for some reason there is about an inch wide black bar on both top and bottom of the screen. So it could be a bit bigger if it would let me adjust it. Oh well.

Ive yet to get to the rts part. But I LOVE the whole metal theme. Its ridiculous how well it's done. Its strange how a game like this had never been made before. I dont mind rts, but ive heard people say that not only was it unexpected, but it wasnt done very well either. Neither was the hack n slash part. I think the hack n slash is pretty good. Decent amount of upgrades and skills, it controls well enough. Nothing special, but its definitely not bad. Its just a very entertaining game. I will say that the side missions seem repetitive as hell. Im not going to bother doing them unless I need to.

They just ask for your .edu email, then the state and the college you go to. Then they send you an email and you just confirm. Really easy.

Yeah, I havent bought Portal 2 yet. Maybe once its 20 bucks. I loved the game, but there is only once solution toe very puzzle. I still want to own it though. And I felt the same way about Bastion. I played the beginning of it and it seemed pretty run of the mill. Maybe once you play it longer it gets deeper and you have tons more options or something. I dunno.
