I realized I also have a fanatical love of Dead Space. I own all the games including the DS2 collectors edition, DS Ignition, and the iPhone game. I bought the book, the graphic novel, and I honestly still want the backpack. Ive also seen both of those goddamn movies.

I dont think so. It seemed like a set amount. You get 50,000 of every mineral and I had 200,000 credits. Exactly. Im pretty thats not what I had. So if I want to use the shotgun primarily this time, vanguard would be ideal, right?

The new game plus really sucks in this. You don't keep your upgrades or your squad points and im not a hundred percent sure, but I feel like enemies level up with you, so keeping your level is pointless. I don't want to collect all the upgrades again. I just want to be an overpowered asshole while blasting everybody in the face with a shotgun. You keep the weapons, that's about the only good thing about new game plus, but its not like the weapons make that much of a difference. Plus, id like to try a new class or whatever. at this point, its probably a better idea to start an all new game.

Re: Chain of Memories is really boring. I dont recommend it. Only thing thats better than the GBA in those versions are the new voice acted cutscenes, which are few in far between. Youre better off looking those up on Youtube.

Speaking of Mass Effect 2, as far as weapon and armor dlc, which ones are truly worth it? The PS3 version comes with all of the dlc(including the cerberus network) except the weapon and armor packs. And Arrival of course. Im saying this because I thought the collector armor looked really badass. I kinda want it. Also, it kind of sucks that you cant remove the helmets from the dlc armors. Its lame really. I dont use them just because of that, but now that i beat the game im willing to use different armor.

First Class had this strange tendency to every 5 minutes remind you its a summer blockbuster by throwing some random cg effect, half naked chick or cheesy comic book line in its great acting. Its still a really good movie, but it brings it down a notch for me.

Honestly, Ill probably download it and cheat the shit out of it. I just want to experience the story, not necessarily the gameplay. The comic in the PS3 version for ME1 was cool, but I felt like I was missing out a lot on the character development and all the small details and stuff. I still dont feel like Sovereign or Saren were that important to the whole plot. Tali and Ashley also feel like cameos in ME2 to me and not full party members from previous games. Garrus was awesome though and id like to see more of him. I checked out the Mass Effect wikia, but those things never satisfy me.

Nevermind remastered sounds pretty awesome. That being said, Pretty Hate Machine is probably the best remaster ive heard in years.

As a PS3 owner, I skipped Mass Effect 1. Should I play it on PC? How much different is it? I hate to say it with the master race in here, but I liked Mass Effect 2 and I liked Dragon Age 2's "dumbing" down of the rpg system.

Yeah, i want it just for the artwork on the box. I dont play boardgames and Ive never played Risk....hmm... Maybe I can just wait and find it on sale somewhere. I dont think boardgames sell like they used to.

Alpha Protocol has been dirt cheap for a while at Gamestop and ive been wanting to try it, but theres a lot of negative reviews, then there are a few VERY vocal minority talking about how great it really was. I know i should form my own opinions, but to me its a warning sign when very few people are very loud and overanalytical over how great a game is that everyone else says sucks. Its a turnoff for me. It feels like a bunch of people who spent 60 bucks but are in denial that it wasnt even worth 5 dollars. Kinda like the people who said that Duke Nukem Forever was just as good as other shooters. They probably feel bad about buying it first day and they truly want the game to be good. No one ever brings that topic up. Self denial is huge with gamers and their games. Ive done it before myself. Its ridiculous.

I loved Lair of The Shadow Broker. Its really how dlc should be done.

So Uhh.....I just finished Mass Effect 2. I loved it. Gonna play it again right away. Well, two of my team members died at the end. How does the game decide who dies and who doesnt? It felt kind of random. Everyone is loyal on my team except Jack, but she didnt die. I got all the upgrades for the Normandy too. The ending was also a huge cocktease. Is the Arrival DLC worth it?

To be honest, AC2 and Brotherhood are the only well reviewed ones in the entire series. AC1, Bloodlines, and Altair Chronicles are pretty awful. At least in my personal experience. I have no idea about AC2 Discovery. It wouldnt surprise me if ti was actually good. By all accounts, anything with Altair as the main character seems to turn out shitty. Thats why I personally dont give a shit about Altair. Thats why most people like Ezio too im sure. He's in all the good ones.

I feel better paying 10 dollars for RE4 HD port than i would if i paid 40(is that what its priced?) for Halo HD remake. Ports are there so that people who didnt have the previous system can play them again without having to buy an old system and looking for the disc. Its easier, its cheaper, and its better than the previous version. Not THAT much better, but it is better. It also guarantees that whoever made the game is going to profit from it instead of Gamestop. I cant argue with that. Plus, if youre going to spend so many resources and spend so much time on a remake, there HAS to be something radically different. Having a new engine and textures and VA is in itself kind of boring and very safe to do. Remakes of games should be like remakes of films: you have to give people a real excuse to check it again. While I personally hate Twins Snakes, they did it right. Not only was it prettier, but they gave you a reason to re-experience MGS1 again with different gameplay, voiceactors, art style, motioncapturing, dialogue, scripting, extra plotlines, etc. Everything but the storyline and most of the VA was new. It was a completely different take on it. A more modern take. There was some thought put into it. There was a reason for it to exist other than money. That, and nostalgia whores. Were all nostalgia whores.

This is my fourth time buying it. Im such a sucker. Then again I've replayed it over 20 times. 10 dollars I think is worth it just to give me an excuse to play it again. I have never gotten tired of this damn game for some reason. Collecting all the weapons and upgrades is my weakness. Damn.

I knew what was going to happen. Its why I did it. I dont even know if Dom dies or not. I just knew people were going to get angry. Now that Owen, in a way, has confirmed the spoiler, I guess people do have a reason to be upset. Gears of War has a shitty story anyways. Fuck 'em.

But they are dumb. You don't need a lot of intelligence to be great at them. Just good reflexes and accuracy. Something that isnt determined by your IQ score. Also, you knocking Mass Effect and Dragon Age while saying CoD4 and Halo Reach having a good story is ridiculous.
