I started using in irl and it only works around certain people. Not at work btw. It's just strange at work. At least my work.

Ehhh...probably some random game on my uncle's mac (Quest, Dungeon, Zork) or my other uncle's Commmodore 64 (some mouse maze game I don't remember the name of?). My parents had an Odyssey2 when I was, like, 4, so Pick-Axe Pete, K.C.'s Krazy Chase, etc. were probably the first ones I sat and played extensively. There was a nice period of Atari 2600 action going on too before we got the NES a few years later.

Generally just be more productive with my time. I waste so much of it doing nothing. So, possibly read more, write more, be a bit more active. Also, I'm looking to improve my awesomeness factor a bit if at all possible. I am going to continue to drink as much as I do, smoke lots and lots of cigarettes, and get little amounts of sleep, because I like all of those things waaaaaay too much to ever give them up. I could totes try to write totes more. It totes doesn't go over as well irl though.

I heard that if you watch that entire thing, they materialize outside of your computer and murder you with pizza. Not even good pizza. Which doesn't make sense. Because all pizza is good. Even murderous pizza. Especially murderous pizza?
-
Satanic pizza is the best pizza imo.
-
What is this!? I'm scared. Piiiiizzzzaaaaa...

I wish I understood this reference, because I do love pizza, and pizza related references must be good.

This is why I like working for the food industry. We have a full kitchen and a giant freezer of free food that I frequently use for lunch. Because I hate grocery shopping. Also, that pizza was TASTY!

That sounds like what my parents did with movies. Although they were probably much, much worse. Seriously, growing up, I swear I was only allowed to watch a handful of movies. They'd get all weird about the strangest things. I swear to god we were forced to walk out of the Care Bear movies because there was too much magic? SUPER CONSERVATIVE! They're so much better now.

Everybody loves Miyazaki! I haven't met anyone who has seen his stuff that didn't like it. I need to watch more.
-
At least get them to watch Totoro! I mean, there's a catbus! A CATBUS! Who doesn't love catbuses!? Ponyo was...all right.
-
Oh that just reminds me of how I still don't own Howl's Moving Castle. What is wrong with me!? I finally, finally bought Princess Mononoke earlier this year. It is easily one of my favorite movies, ever. Miyazaki is wonderful.

I thought it was really great! Yeah, yeah, the story is crap, whatever. I actually liked a lot of the cutscenes and the convoluted nature of the story didn't bother me at all, neither did Samus having a personality. I thought it was interesting. I think people take this kind of thing waaaaay too seriously. I could have used a bit more open backtracking and the items being revealed when you cleared a room was a bit disappointing, but overall I thought it was a good attempt at bringing back 2D Metroid. I really liked the perspective switch mechanic. I have no idea why people complained about that. For me, it ranks behind Super Metroid, Prime 1, and Prime 3, but is still better than Prime 2, Metroid, or Metroid II. (I have yet to play Fusion).

Super Metroid, Contra III, and Castlevania all get a lot of playtime from me. Mario 3 and Mario World get played here and there as well. I cleared through Zelda: A Link to the Past as well. I really need to play OoT. I downloaded Super Mario RPG and finished it, but I really didn't like it very much. Possibly suffering from the whole, I never played it back in the day syndrome. Same with Mario 64.

I'm just generally paranoid (not in conspiracy theory way, more in the way that if people are late, I tend to assume the worst. And I have to lock all my doors always, and probably lock them a couple of times. It's not debilitating, just likely mildly irritating to anyone who has ever lived with me.) I also developed vertigo a few years ago. So, heights freak me out if I don't feel secure. I can ride roller coasters, fly in a plane, etc., but I cannot for the life of me get on a ladder. I get all woozy and feel like I'm going to fall, and then likely fall. And I don't like the water. I try to avoid it at all costs. I can get claustrophobic in elevators and other small spaces with lots of people. I don't mind crowds, I just don't like being in tight spaces. Yeah, so a lot of small weird things. EDIT: Oh, I forgot the worst. Conjoined twins freak me the hell out. Seriously.

For me, it's really just anything that I played as a child. So, for me, personally, I see the Odyssey2, Atari 2600, NES, SNES, and Gameboy all as retro consoles. For some reason I also have this sensibility that something that few people experienced, a console that appeared and burnt out, while I was in my younger years also qualifies. So things like the Phillip's CDi, Sega CD, Jaguar, Neo Geo, Lynx, 3D0, etc., are all retro as well. They remind me of a time when there so many companies were trying to get a foothold on the industry and had wonderfully asinine ad campaigns. (Jaguar 64, DO THE MATH!) I guess by that definition, retro=nostalgia.

No, I didn't. And I know, right! You'd think my mom would have known better. Seriously, though, I'm not a huge fan of the stuff, myself. It is true though, most of the disc golf players out on the course are biiiiiig into the weed. There's a few of us who aren't. Like, literally, a few.

Jealous! You are more committed to the wonders of Chipotle than I am. I made a sandwich and ate some cherry yogurt. It was...satisfactory.
-
For disc golf. Each disc does a particular thing (you have discs for putting, mid-range shots, drives, etc.). They all fly slightly differently depending on how they're shaped too. This here is an overstable driver, meaning it'll curve left and crash hard at the end, which is great for left-turn fairways or really windy conditions. I've been meaning to get a new driver for next Spring and I'm pretty pumped about this one. /disc golf nerd

Spread gun in Contra III, particularly. It's fine in the first two, it's just not as satisfying.
-
Same! And I really want to be prepared.

Oh yeah. Procrastination and general laziness for me (while I'm not at work...no, really, I'm rather productive at work if I'm busy enough). I just can't be bothered to do stuff.
-
I drink (rather often), smoke about half a pack to a pack a day, consume lots and lots of coffee, and get about 5 to 6 hours of sleep a night. My alarm clock is always set to a palindrome. Wait. That's just strange. Not really an addiction.

I kind of want to eat Chipotle for dinner too, now. There's no threshold for Chipotle.
