Hmmm...it's either a Furthermore Oscura, an Odell IPA, or a Two Brothers Cain & Abel. Not sure what time of the night this was taken. I think it's likely the Oscura. Either it's one of those or I took a random beer by the end of the night. Soooooo...WHO KNOWS!? EDIT: I have confirmed it based on the tiny amount of label I can see! It's the Odell IPA, which means it's probably like 2 am at this point, as my evening went Oscura, Cain and Abel, Jack Daniels, Champagne, Espresso Vodka, Odell IPA, Odell IPA, Odell IPA, repeat, repeat, who knows?, Espresso Vodka, death, or something like that. The details are all fuzzy like.

Updated pic! Because I kind of look ridiculous in the last one and everyone always looks much better wearing beads. ALWAYS! This from the giant NYE paaaarty! And somehow I still look moderately sober. Although no one can figure out why my eyes look they way they do. They're normally BLUE!

Yeah, the film didn't make me as angry as I thought it might, but there was something unsettling about the entire thing. I mean, I give the guy kudos for going through with it, but the idea of making a film about how difficult it is to be paid millions of dollars to act kind of falls short on a significant meaning. I mean, I get it, it's an art, and it's tricky, but really, I don't feel bad for him, and they don't make me feel bad for him (even if I thought it was real, which I knew it wasn't.) So, I guess, nice attempt, but you're no Andy Kaufmann?

Finally got around to picking up DKCR. It's fantastic! Starts out rather simple but is getting pretty brutal nearing the end. Because I'm an absurd completionist, it's going to take me forever to get 100% on this thing. Beating the levels isn't a problem, it's getting and finding all the puzzle pieces and letters. I think the Time Attack is going to give me more trouble though. So far, though, pure nostalgia + fun new mechanics.

Update: I watched I'm Still Here last night. At best it's a self-indulgent experiment, at worst it's a self-indulgent mess. Interesting, mostly just to see someone pretend to throw their life away and do it incredibly convincingly. I also watched SubUrbia for the first time in a long, long, long time. I think it still holds up! Yeah, it's a bit angsty, but it's still a fantastic film.

TONS of stuff was added recently. The IT Crowd Series 4 is up there now, Spartacus Blood and Sand is back, and a ton of movies: SubUrbia (which one of my favorite Linklater movie, and you still can't get it on DVD!) I haven't seen any of these, but plan on watching Shutter Island Naked Lunch An Education The Science of Sleep Mean Streets I'm Still Here Oh, also, ALL OF KIDS IN THE HALL! I love that show so much.

I picked it up today. It's fantastic! I'm not really getting the whole difficulty thing, though. I cleared through World 1 with like 30 lives left. I haven't been going crazy getting all the hidden stuff, though, and that'll definitely ramp up the trickiness. I'll do that once I finish all the levels.

Am I the only one going out to paaaaaarty!? It's okay. I'll party extra hard for everyone.

My friends throw an annual party. I think this is like the fourth year? Basically a big old host of us (probs around 30ish or so) descend upon the house, drink lots and lots, put on one act plays, sketches, and sing silly songs, then commence a dance party until late into the evening. People all own houses in the same area, so we park at one and walk to the party and then walk back to whichever house we decide to crash at. Should be rather epic. It always has been.

I dreamed had a nightmare that I got into work and my boss had rehired the horrible employee that I fired a year ago. Normally they're much more exciting than that.
