  2. Sorry. Newegg. Major detail, there.
  3. X3 terran Conflict 2.0, The Witcher Enhanced, Venetica. Get a rebate card for $10 when you purchase the game for $10 = free. Something else about free shipping (PC game on disk only). Worth it if you can float $10 until you get the rebate.
  4. Finally! One I have real interest in... to a point. http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/simgad/1192279805132232050
  5. I guess now is the time to pre-order your Nvidia Shield, if you really, really must have one, at a price tag of $349. That's more than what I paid for my 2 3DSs, new.

Can't it also stream PC games to the screen on the device?

Yeah, but you have to have the right graphics card.

  6. Taking some encouragement from Dean, I'm surprised we don't have a thread about this already, considering there are at most 3 of us who still love SW. In reviewing some of the history of the original films and combining it with what we know, some of the first SW movies were shot in the UK. And, since it's been announced that there is a return to the UK for the next movie's filming, can we assume that some of the same planets will be revisited? Obviously, Endor seems a little too far out-of-sorts for another shot, as there wasn't much there in the first place beyond the Ewoks, which were not nearly as bad some people made them out to be. And, for those who read comics, Star Wars Legacy might be up your alley: http://www.newsarama.com/17804-in-a-galaxy-far-away-3-hardman-bechko-chart-star-wars-legacy.html And, today is George Lucas's birthday. He turns 69 (insert dirty joke here) today.
  7. Car battery dun died. Would have been okay if it wasn't a fucking hundred degrees outside. Technically, 101, but after 100, no one gives a shit anymore.

I know when to travel through. Went over the pass in the very early morning before dawn and I was fine, but I've seen plenty of cars break down over the pass when I was younger. We used to make the trip from Fresno to Los Angeles to visit my aunt, and there would be a good four or five cars when the time of day was right.

We've overheated on the Tejon before in the '90s. Hope you make it okay.

It'll be cool. I'm sure by the time I get to the pass, it'll be either late at night or early, early morning. Buuuut I'm a AAA member, so it's all good.

  8. Cuz the bitch be cray cray! Didn't you hear her second story where ninjas attacked?
  9. If an article has her name on it, I won't even read it anymore, because she does this "ALL THE FUCKING TIME".
  10. Clicked on the NewEgg Mom's Day link. Brought up this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=96-630-001 No.

Dude, get your wife a real vibrator, not some Hitachi "massager" P.O.S/

My wife already has several real vibrators. Just saying that that's what I imagine the target market to be for this as a mother's day gift. :P

  11. I've been watching the AB cartoons On Demand. Kinda feel closer to that situation than I should.
  12. Back when I was a kid, there was a theater with a separate room in the back with a large clear window. Families with babies could go in there and watch movies, but still not disrupt the movie experience for others. It was quite a nice thing, in hindsight.
  13. BioShock was one that stuck with me. In a plane, heading for long trip and then you crash into the ocean. A fire is going on around you, and then you have to swim for life. Upon entering the mysterious area, you are welcomed to Rapture. Great opening sequence of events. Edit: I think I need to pull that game out and start playing it again.

They're not a proper Forbes writer, they're "Contributors". My understanding is if you can string a few sentences together they'll give you a blog under their banner.

  14. Tell her something like "I forgive you my child". I'm sure the reaction will be worth seeing. Then, dismiss her reply. It has an even better effect on dickheads like that.

ME2 had the better gameplay. Everything else I felt ME1 did better. And unfortunately on a Star Wars RPG, gameplay isn't my primary concern

    3. TheMightyEthan

      TheMightyEthan

I actually think that in terms of both gameplay and mechanics ME3 is the best (I just wish they'd allowed squad armor customization along the lines of what they did with weapons), but in terms of plot/storyline/pacing/general atmosphere ME1 is still the best. Like WaS says though, it's all that other stuff I'm looking for in a Star Wars RPG.

I wouldn't be able to tell you my disappointment if they decided to make it as linear as a grand part of ME2. The thing I loved of the old KOTOR titles is all the planets you could revisit and the side missions in each. ME3 boiled down to 'get me this part from sending a probe to planet X'

  16. Sucked showing up to the beach in Capitola with warning notices to not go in the water due to contamination. Still a very cool little town to visit.

Ah, don't get me started on them about food quality and safety issues. They disgust me and its insulting that they share any common blood with me.

Meh, my folks had good reasons to bail from there. This is one of them.

  17. I asked for 4000 calories between 2 meals. Basically, 3 salads, 3 yogurts, 3lbs of carrots, 3 omlets, 3 bagels and 3 mango smoothies. That's just not right.
  18. Last night I saw the trailer for the new Star Trek movie. The image of Spock appearing to scream in the commercial feels so out of sorts. Kinda turned me off a little. Conversely, I read this morning that John Williams is going to do the score for SW Ep VII, which made me sport wood. His movie scores are some of the best you will hear, especially his SW scores.
  19. http://www.gamedealdaily.com/store/product.php?product=1980 BioShock Infinite for $28. Key activates on Steam (so I have been told).

Stereotyping sports fans? Jeez! I thought we were beyond that. He's got connections in the Bay Area, with all of the stations in the Bay Area reporting that he is a former Stanford player. He's been invited to lead the Boston Gay Pride Parade on the other coast. He's getting a lot of positives for his bravery, which is good to hear.

He's 34 years old, and on the way out of the league. He really doesn't have many career options left in the NBA anway. He averaged a point per game this last season and 2 rebounds per game. This actually might work out in his favor and open doors. Before this, who had heard of him? Now, he's a hero in certain ways. TV and commentary might have just opened up a slot for a name people will recognize. Signing him to come off the bench would definitely draw a crowd for a team in a largly populated gay area, especially in teams that suck ballz from year-to-year and no one wants to see.
  22. I am not sure, but most likely an election will be coming up soon. Gotta have the feel good things to pad the Congressional résumé.
