Sure. I dunno about shipping anything anywhere as UK shipping might outweigh the price of the item for a lot of people, but I would totally be up for a Steam type exchange.

Oddly enough, the account that posted it was also my high school PE teacher. So, small world I guess. And really, this video highlights most of my issues with the movement. I'm all for advancement of the middle class, I'm all for reform of the banking system, but really, the people in this video (the people I see every day when I drive by and the people who are the face of the movement here) are fuckwits. They don't have any idea what they're talking about, and really, I blame them for the movement not taking off here. The protesters mean well, they do try, but as a result of the local homeless population becoming increasingly integrated in the movement, the feelings and ideas coming from the local courthouse steps are becoming more and more fragmented, catering to a wholly different idea than the original message. Just today I saw a sign that said "1 in 4 Veterans are Homeless". That all fine and dandy, and I'm glad they're trying to encourage the community to be more receptive to homeless people, but it's got nothing to do with Occupy Wall Street. If they're going to push their own agendas it would be best for OWS for them to distance themselves from the organization. This is just protesting for the sake of protesting. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, but I'm not quite fully sober and quite angry.

@WTF I've got a EVGA, which I'd definitely recommended for the lifetime warranty. I'm sorta regretting not getting the MSI Twin Frozr for cooling and general longevity, but I have a cold house and a case with fairly good circulation so it's never gotten very hot. I have heard MSI 560Ti's have been lasting longer, probably because of the extra cooling, but I just went EVGA for the warranty and having good luck with them in the past.

Yeah, I'd say Ethan's suggestion of trying to pick up a 470 on the cheap could work if you can swing the cost. Looking at benchmarks between the 460 and 470 the FPS jump is on average 7 to 10 which is fairly negligible for the price you'd be paying. If you really are in the market for a new, new card though it'd be my recommendation behind the 560Ti (which is purely personal bias). The 470 is quite a bit more futureproof than the 460 as well, which could be something to consider with new releases in full swing.

Did you think AVD was any good? I loved Cross to death, maybe one of my favorite albums of all time, but I thought a lot of the songs on AVD were pretty shitty. I really do like Helix though.

I've got a 560Ti which I strongly recommend. The thing runs loud as hell, but it's a pretty amazing card for performance/price, and IMO the best value card you can buy right now. It is a little out of your price range, though, but it's the current generation Nvidia card and EVGA has a just dandy lifetime warranty. It is awfully far out of your price range, I guess, but it is pretty much the current gen replacement to your current card and runs a hell of a lot better. Also, what resolution do you play at?

Preordered Saints Row The Third from GMG with their 15% voucher (which still has about 10 hours left, if others are interested). Cost a cool 34 dollars which is definitely worth the price from what I've seen so far.

That's ridiculous. Same thing happened to me with Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood a few months ago. I came in really excited for the game, wanting to play it on PC, but the delays kinda ruined the hype for me and I didn't end up getting it until the summer steam sale. I guess you could say my excitement for this game is now dulled or pretty much gone.

Someone else knows about Venetian Snares! Awesome. I'm not a huge fan, but I do like a lot of his work (Cricket Spine Bin for instance.) Woo, people know about Venetian Snares. I'm more of a fan of his Last Step project myself, but I have a friend who's obsessed with the breakcore stuff so I've kinda developed a liking for that. Total War: Shogun 2 from the GamersGate sale, preordered Battlefield 3 (because I'm a consumer whore and dirty liar), Humble Voxel Bundle, Painkiller bundle, Dead Space bundle, Bioshock 1 + 2, and Payday: The Heist (which really isn't very good). Might buy Skyrim, but I fear it'd eat the rest of my backlog alive.

That's why I want the B2K expansion to come out as soon as possible. If they find a way to fuck up Wake Island or Oman I will be genuinely surprised.

I would, but my pings are so shit over on nearly all UK servers. When they fix rubberbanding on 64p conquest I will definitely give it a shot, though. I've been kinda sucking at BF3, though, and my SPM is pretty shit right now, so I'll probably be spending some time in squad deathmatch or team deathmatch to get better with some of the weapons and learn some of the maps. For those that are having trouble I'd definitely try that, it worked wonders in BC2.
