The Paper trail missions in Second Son are amazing, shame they're releasing them so slowly as by the time i finish this and return it I won't get to see them all.

Infamous Second Son is great. But man. I just got the tv power and I miss the neon power. Will be going back most likely.

Yeah, when I was good I preferred neon over video, but on my evil playthrough I mostly used video.

Don't get me wrong. This is great for stealth playthroughs. But the freedom of movement in neon is amazing. I haven't gone back to smoke because smoke has no upsides. I was always doing sulfur bombs and knocking people out individually. With neon I'm all PEW PEW PEW

I read the book a while back so I was all "That's a nice refresher" as well. But friends who read it more throughout their lives were bitching.

I did actually. But it would go in the OK films. Watched it with my bro as we drank beer and ate popcorn in Alamo Drafthouse at midnight opening weekend. It was packed. Long story short: it featured a lot of 'naval' warfare, it was more of an interquel, and it set up a sequel. Was thoroughly entertained but it'd get a 7/10 at best.

Decided to go ahead and preorder Dark Souls 2 in GMG so I can get it for overall 40 bucks. Summer sale might have a better deal, but I don't see it going lower than 33%. Plus I'd have to wait till late in the summer assuming they follow the trend

And you get the preorder DLC equipment.Which is a weird thing for a Souls game.

It's not really DLC, though. The weapons are in the game anyway, you just get to have them earlier than you normally would.
Which is actually kind of even weirder but then I realized people already do suicide runs to get better gear early anyway, which is pretty much the same thing.

speaking of exclusive DLC, reminds me of the ME2 (or was it 3?) DLC about going to the ruins of a certain famous ship in the game and exploring it. Didn't really do shit for me

On a more serious note, Dark Souls II is another game that's been getting flak over a so-called downgrade. Overreactions aside, it is kind of a bummer.
The lighting effects they removed looked pretty damn good. And the removal could actually have an effect on game balance considering how they kept talking about the new torch mechanics/lighting system being core to the game's design.

I've played through the majority of Stick of Truth and encountered exactly two bugs. One was a minor flickering of the main character during a short cutscene, and the other involves de-equiping weapon and armor mods randomly.

Stick of truth: I don't think a ps4 version is coming anytime soon due to Obsidian being relatively small.

I haven't seen the majority of the nominee films for the Oscars. I mean I wanted to for some, like Wolf of Wall Street. But the grand majority never appealed to me.

M Night Shyamalan strikes again

Wolf Children If you've ever watched anime movies such as Miyazaki/Ghibli ones (Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Laputta Castle in the Sky, etc...) I highly recommend you give this a try. It's as heartfelt as a Disney movie and shows the struggle of a (human) widow trying to raise her werewolf children. The animation is amazing, the story is bittersweet, and the characters were great. While you're at it I can't recommend Jin-Roh the Wolf Brigade enough. Especially if you like Hellghast armor design.
