You're giving the writers too much credit Ethan. If it's not outright stated it's not an implication. They fucked up on the character and then all of a sudden they wanted us to pretend it didn't happen when she changed her mind

The two biggest issues I've read about are: - Blue Blinking Light- the console is straight up damaged. - W/e color it is when the HDMI port has an issue that can be fixed with a pin. Instead of the 0.4% faulty devices Sony says they'll have, I would probably say it's closer to 2-3% (speculation). Which is acceptable. People forget that newer tech in general has failure rates of like 5%+ so it's within an acceptable margin. As I was trading in my 360 and games today, I saw a bunch of the preordered PS4's in the back that people hadn't picked up. I swear there must've been like 20 there. I asked if I could get one of those lol but they said no. Obviously.

Taking away my previous comment. Now I'll be getting a PS4 asap. Best Buy has a $100 minimum gift card for the trade-in of working 360 and ps3 consoles.

you could also buy an amazon gift card in the best buy if you would rather have that.

Unless Best Buy is different, technically you can't buy a gift card with a gift card. I've had customers wanted to put different gift cards together to make an uber Visa gift card, and that doesn't fly.

It seems like Best Buy is cool w/ it, but it seems that Best Buy only sells $25 Amazon gift cards. So you would have to buy multiple.

I think next book should be released fairly quicker as I recall the voice actress of Asami saying, before book 2 was released, that they were already recording book 3. So take into account we're already done with book 2 and they may already be animating book 3. I recall a big issue with book 2 was that they switched animation companies and they couldn't deliver, so about halfway they went back to the one they usually use. Now that the season is over, everybody feel like the animation wasn't as top notch quality as before? The faces and everything just looked off for me. The fluidity in the second half was fine but everything else was off

So even if I decide to jump in earlier than planned with a PS4 purchase (january instead of february) I'm apparently not going to buy it via Amazon because of all the bad news I've read.

Well more specifically it seems to be taboo since all the news I read about failing PS4's are from people who ordered from Amazon. Obviously it's easier to hear about this since it's a website vs a store that would need to announce the issues, but if from here till january it remains like this I'd rather wait for a local store to get ps4's.

Actually that kinda makes sense, cause it's likely that the failing ones are in the same production runs, and the units at a given retailer probably were made together.

Basically. My main reasoning is if I get it at a local store like say Best Buy, I can get the extended warranty and return it if it fails much quicker than via Amazon

Played around with my friend's ps4. I gotta say the DS4 is amazing. Given more time with it I could see it replacing the 360 controller as my favorite of all time. It just feels well done, with weight to it and very ergonomc. Unlike the DS3 which felt like cheap plastic.

FDS: How about we don't make assumptions? I've tried the playstation controllers plenty of times and the only time I could enjoy one fully was when I was 13 and could hold the controller just fine. Funny how I've had no issue with Nintendo or Xbox controllers but now you're basically telling me "you're holding it wrong"? Then I guess I should make accomodations I've never had to do for any other controller I've liked.

I'm probably biased as of right now since I had my first console, an NES, as a kid and grew up alongside the controllers. But holding an N64 controller, xbox, or even the Wii ones I've had no issues with feeling uncomfortable. The Six axis and DS3 felt cheap to me. The triggers sucked, the shape was awkward for me, the joysticks especially sucked, it had no weight, and I still prefer the asymmetrical design of the 360's joysticks. But that's because I haven't had more time...

Just saw the last 4 episodes. HOLY SHIT that went full retard. Like full on Matrix Revoluton meets Evangelion. I can't say I like the direction they went with, mostly because it seems like it'd be great if this were a top notch group of writers but they've been struggling to keep a cohesive narrative this whole season and with this decision it seems like they're saying "look it was all leading to this I swear" but it just seems like they opened a can of worms they can't fully utilize. We'll see next season. Bolin stole the show these 4 episodes. He was fucking awesome. Asami got zero to very little screen time which sucked. And well at least it ended better than the first season though that final fight was extremely underwhelming compared to anything from the first Avatar.

Yep, I'll properly buy it later near christmas to let them know how much I appreciate choirs. One of my favorite bands, E Nomine, is basically all epic choirs. As to chapter 51 it's out in english, and no worries Potato girl is fine (they even do a joke on her popularity)

my biggest issue with that game is that it's floaty as shit and the controllers are absolutely impossible unless you have a mouse (so trackpad in laptop is useless) If they ever add controller support I'll consider it.

Maybe I just didn't care about Ender's Game like others. Nuktuk even makes me swoon. As to Mako and her being together again, I don't think that's official as more of a rumor. I don't think either of them has admitted it, but I guess I'd be ok with it. As long as Korra doesn't get back and it becomes awkward teen romance again. I really do want Team Avatar to stay the way they are, with maybe Bolin toning down the douchey super star thing a bit.

Yeah I really do hope this isn't terrible writing in order to make Mako more of a victim. I already like the guy after dumping Korra. Korra and him don't have any cartoon chemistry. But the developers insist on it in order to appease the ZukoxKatara fans. Fuck those guys. Keep him single and solving crimes and shit. Make all the bitches want some Nuck Tuck. We all know they want it.
