I'd do weight lifting if I could, but I'm following a high protein low carbs/sugars diet with a doctor and I have a pamphlet of what I can/can't do and eat.. Weight lifting is a no no at least until this week I'll see once I reach the second phase. I was close to 209 lbs and I'm at 194 lbs right now. I did the hydroxicut pills for a month with moderate exercise and went down to.. 204 lbs or so. Then I stopped doing exercising and heavy dieting for a 2-3 months and miraculously since I don't eat terribly I went down to 199 lbs. Then I started this diet and in one week I lost 5 lbs. Realistically he tells me I might end close to 185 lbs at the end of the 4 weeks plan. Then it's up to me to lose the extra 5 by healthy eating and exercising. At the best shape of my life, with probably more muscle mass, I was around 180 lbs. So my goal is to get closer to the best shape I was in and lower my fat content further. Similar to you Mal, I'm visiting family these holidays. I tend to lose a couple more lbs when I visit my home country since I walk more and the food and serving sizes are healthier but usually I tend to go there kind of chubby and leave at a decent weight. This time I'd like to go there looking somewhat fit and leaving a bit more fit.

I've never seen somebody so clouded from their book rage. Even the worst of my friends still called it an ok film. Crap film though? Jesus man.

They show glimpses of it from the more obvious shit that he did, but all the inner turmoil and the more intricate indications of the book were too much imho for a movie to adapt. We didn't need 20 minutes of Ender in a cabin crying.

Ender's Game the visuals were great, the zero g battles were awesome and surprisingly a more than decent adaptation. Any complaint I might have, besides not splitting it into two films and not exploring Ender's compassionate side more, are more the fault of a film restriction than THE film's fault

After couple of months dieting and exercising, I've lost close to 15 lbs. I'm still about 10-15 away from my goal before I focus on weight lifting.

I dressed up as a tired college student who is just absolutely depressed over the fact his best friends all graduated already and are already moving on with their lives while the last best friend he has lives 2 hours away but is just as busy as he is so they can never meet and to take the pain away he decided to do a low carbs diet which means all the fucking food in his fridge is out of the question and planning meals all of a sudden became a fucking chore because you get tired of the same shit every day and you want to drown your sorrows in something but alcohol is out of the question so you drown it in self pity and isolation. It was hit at the party I went to.

yep. Only 10 episodes and I have no idea if it'll ever get another season. It was pretty standard shonen though.

Bad Grandpa. Let me start saying that if you like awkward humor you might enjoy this. If you like Jackass-style pranks you might like this. I personally have grown out of them and really cringe with awkward humor, so I was suffering the whole movie.

There were only two instances where my "tell it's a lie first, see if he says something reasonable and decide from there" method didn't work. And it was with one person.

First Jojo is ok, but I didn't like how serious they tried to make the story and how much of an overpowered shonen he was. Second Jojo is great though. Hilarious too.

Vecha will make you his bitch-a. And FDS: The game's mechanics during interrogations were bad to the point that 95% of the choices were really obvious. The eyes were especially bad. To call them out on a lie it took you five seconds to see if they couldn't see you in the eyes and looked all over the room. Like 99% of the time they were lying if they did this.

LA Noire's writing and ending was lazy. And in a game like this that's enough to make me wish i had never played it. How to tell if your choice is right? Always choose lie first. If your character said something that made sense, it was a lie. If he screams YOU ARE THE WIFE OF HITLER AND YOU FUCKED A T REX! Then you take back the statement. Or if the person is looking around the room with eyes as jittery as Michael J Fox doing the conga then I wonder if he's telling the truth.
