  1. X-Men Origins: Wolverine What was FOX thinking here? The action is enjoyable but the CGI is arguably some of the worst I've ever seen for a production of this size. Wolverines claw's look like they've been drawn on using Gimp and the story itself was all over the place. Urgh. Urgh.
  2. Saints Row IV Yep, it's definitely a Saints Row the Third sequel/Extended DLC. Look, I only paid a few £ for this, so I'm not too bothered, but even with the addition of superpowers I'm already finding myself bored with this city and this game. It's not one i'll remember too fondly. Fun? yes, but a little tired too.
  3. I put around 10 hrs into that and then suddenly stopped playing. I went from enjoying it to absolutely hating it inside half a mission. I doubt I'll go back for it at this point. I myself just finished Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP on my iPad. It was all chugging along great until the game forced me to take a 13 day hiatus, thus totally removing me from the game and (upon my return) allowing me to totally forget what was going on. That aside, it's a joy.
  4. I've got to ask. How did you get so much credit?
  5. 'Alien3' was pretty forgetful, and with Resurrection to come, I wonder just how bad it can get.
  6. I enjoyed Arkham Origins. Doesn't do anything new, but it's more of Arkham City and that was fine in my books.
  7. Kentucky Route Zero episode 3 is now available for those interested. I've completely forgot what happeened in episode 2.

  8. Finally got around to starting the Alien franchise. Alien was fantastic from start to finish. Aliens was also very enjoyable, but it lost me a little after half way. I think I prefer the tension of the first against the action of the second. I've heard it falls off a cliff from here on out though?
  9. NHL15 will finally get a new announcement team. I've been listening to the same guys for 8 years at this point.

Anything is better than Clement at this point.

  10. Sir, You Are Being Hunted left Early Access yesterday. Has anyone been playing it? (Its really really good).

I've been meaning to get it but I held off until it is off Early Access. Now to wait for a sale since I'm broke.

  11. Fairly sure FSD means that I should use the RSS app 'Press' with Feedly as my RSS manager/Service.
  12. What RSS readers are you all using? I've been using Feedly for the last year or so (since Google Reader was taken from us), and for the most part it's been solid. However, recently it appears to have fallen off a cliff and i've decided a change is needed. Problem is I'd like something that's available on both iOS and Android, and that limits my options substantially.
  13. The Last Days on Mars - Fairly mediocre science fiction that see's an expedition to Mars take a turn for the worse when they make a super important discovery. You've probably seen this film 4 times before in one way or another. Dirty Girl - Because Juno Temple is lovely.
  14. I'm just not seeing this boom in PC gamers though. I don't doubt the figures, but everyone I know who plays video games, plays them on their sofa with a Sony or Microsoft console.
  15. If that is truly the case, I may have to abort the series all together. I'd rather finish the books before the tv show.
  16. Filth James McAvoy's best performance to date? This film was awesome.
  17. Just finished Arkham Origins. The game certainly didn't merit some of the bad reviews it received (although I can't speak to technical issues - although the game did quit on me twice), but it wasn't a truly great game either. All in all, if you're wanting Arkham City 2, Arkham Origins hits the spot. I just hope they mix it up a little for the next game. Also if they could stop throwing generic bad guys at you whilst your supposed to be in a battle to the death with a major villain, that'd be fucking great.
  18. £6.55 on GMG I had planned on re-playing Arkham City before this, but with Arkham Knight coming out soon (ish..?), I should probably get cracking.
  19. Tengami - iPad Really enjoyable....puzzle game? I'm not sure. It was fun, it looked nice and it made my ears feel nice whilst I played it. It's awfully easy though.
  20. The Banner Saga Flew through this game in a little over 10 hours, and for the most part it was an enjoyable experience. The game is a beauty to look at, and it's story grabbed me from minute one. The combat is a bit hit and miss however, whilst I think the idea's are in place to make it an interesting and fun mechanic, at the minute it just doesn't land. And then there's the final battle. It changes sh*t up, which can be very frustrating if you're not into that sort of thing. I worked it out eventually, but I had to game the system a little in order to do it. Also the game just ends, which I assume to means we'll be seeing a sequel at some point. That's fine by me.
  21. Sometimes You Die A very short iOS puzzle/platformer that I don't at all feel slimy for including in this thread.
  22. Currently on sale for roughly £10 on GMG (use the code).
