  1. Yeah, I was really surprised as well when I checked the store and saw it was 10$. I figured the narrator seemed like the most likely reason but while I was aware he was somewhat known, I have no idea who he is. Holy crap, looking at wiki he also voices Shaun in the AC games. No wonder he sounded so familiar. First time I heard him, I wondered if it was Stephen Merchant. I might be wrong, but I believe Thomas was Alone also has a developer commentary that's supposed to be pretty interesting. Also the soundtrack is fantastic. If you can play with earphones, I'd recommend it.
  2. The Walking Dead: 400 Days. Finally.
  3. Guacamelee! I finally got the better of the final boss. I cursed, i nearly cried and at one point, i head-butted my Vita, but eventually i got the job done.
  4. I'm like 8 hours in and i've still not gotten to the final boss. I can't quick travel there, so i assume i need to find everything first? I'm back on the Vita by the way. I think the PS3 is the better system to play on, but at this point, anything to get my Vita out of the cupboard is a good thing.
  5. Has anyone seen Time Crimes?

I liked it. Not exactly mind blowing but if you're into time travel movies then it's worth a watch.

  6. I adored Super Meat Boy. Yes its difficult and frustrating but the way you're immediately back into the action makes it so you never feel like you're really being punished for messing up. Straight back into the action.
  7. How i spent my day; 6.5 hours of Breaking Bad, 1 x 2 hour movie, 2 hours of Guacamalee. Living the dream.

  8. Picked it up on £7.99 on PSN. I started playing it on the Vita but decided its probably better suited to the PS3 controller. *Wouldn't let me use an image of the cover. The game is Guacamelee.
  9. Ahh Guacamelee. I've been playing that myself (Vita/PS3). How are you finding it? It goes from fun to frustrating in a matter of seconds. And i've had to stop playing on the Vita all together as the d-pad/buttons are just too small.
  10. Nearly picked that up during the Steam sale. Glad i saved my money.
  11. For Science. Nah in all serious. I've heard some great things (and some less than great things) about this. It was a straight fight between this and The Place Beyond the Pines, and seeing as my Brother picked that up, figured this would be the wiser choice.
  12. It's unfair to judge from one image, but fuck it i'm going to do it anyway. This looks a little generic. Also, Super Meat Boy.
  13. How long/what difficulty? I think it took about 9 hours on whatever the hardest you can play from the beginning is. Obviously I died a lot. Played it on Normal. Probably took me a little over 5 hours. Playing on Hard sound utterly soul crushing.
  14. To those interested; Amazon.co.uk is now offering downloadable games much in the same way they do with Amazon.com. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html/ref=bt_atcg_mine_cta?docId=1000738123&ie=UTF8&plgroup=1&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1EQQJGTKZXA1S51DGPAE&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=419145787&pf_rd_i=2683271031
  15. I'm not a Dr Who fan, but i'm really pleased to see that they went with Capaldi. I'm also enjoying all the 13 year old girls on Tumblr moaning about the fact that he's not a 25 year old pretty boy.
  16. I say give it a go. I've not seen Juno, but i hear a lot of people got put off by the writing for that film. I don't think this film suffers from the same hang ups. I certainly don't think its hilarious, but its certainly interested and the cast all give great performances. The ending leaves you asking questions, and its got a really nice overall presentation. --- Not Suitable for Children. This is a film i truly knew nothing about, and once again it surprised me. I went in expecting another shitty comedy along the lines of 'Knocked up' (or 100 other Paul Rudd films) and i came away pleasantly surprised.
  17. The one with the guy from Cold Feet (totally forgot his name). I'd always assumed (based on the DVD art) that it was a British take on Dexter. Was i wrong?
  18. Young Adult. Charlize Theron was brilliant as the unlikable, lead in this film written by the woman behind Juno. Granted it wasn't exactly what i was expecting, but i still loved it.
  19. *dies. Seriously though, i cannot wait for this. Sherlock is probably my favourite show on television. I just wish we had more of it. Also Watson's rocking that moustache.
  20. I believe it was on PS+ in August last year; but i only recently got the PS3 so i missed it. Also, its only £3.
  21. I've done, Year 1, Killing Joke, Returns, Long Halloween and Arkham Asylum. Which Batman comic should i tackle next?

Wow, I guess I must've conditioned myself to ignore WaS because I completely missed that he had even replied. Sorry.

  22. I wonder if Nintendo thinks the likes of 3D World and Pikmin are more interesting to the mainstream consumer than they actually are. Pikmin isn't going to provide a major push on hardware sales, and Mario 3D whilst looking neat; is just another Mario game. I'm sure Mario Kart will help, but i don't see people going ape-sh*t over these things and suddenly making the Wii U a console to own.
  23. £3 on the Blockbuster.co.uk website. I've heard some good things about this; and at £3 including delivery, i'm willing to take the gamble.
  24. Confidence. First time i'd heard of this movie (not surprising). It stars Ed Burns, Dustin Hoffman, Andy Garcia and Rachel Weisz and is totally forgettable. It tries to be cool but misses the mark by a country mile. I like Burns but i'm not sure he's quite cool enough to pull this off. Weisz, Garcia and Giamatti are criminally underused and Hoffman is..well awfully cast.
