Not bad, just a little boring at times. I think that might be more a problem with Superman as a superhero than Man of Steel though. Although i still argue some of those scenes go on for a little too long. How many times can you watch 2 almost indestructible men fly through buildings before it becomes tedious?

They certainly re-use certain bits (themes? I'm not very good with music terminology), but thats fine as i love them.

Motifs/leitmotifs would be the word. Also, yeah, I agree. Great theme, though nothing can top X-Men First Class'.

World War Z. After hearing about the films troubles for the last year or so, i went in expecting the worst. However, it was actually quite good. Unlike Man of Steel the week before, i was gripped throughout. The action was tense and to my mind, well shot. The story was okay and it didn't overstay its welcome (unlike Man of Steel). The only problem i had with the film was the lack of blood. For a film featuring millions of undead zombies trying to eat your innards, i'd have expected a bit more blood. All in all, a pretty enjoyable summer 'blockbuster'.

I picked up a copy of The Witcher 2 on PC, so i'm currently replaying that after initially completing it on my 360 in 2012. Its a beautiful looking game, and the combat feels so much more natural than that of The Witcher (which i played over the last month or two of last year). Dat Kayran.

Congratulations to the Blackhawks. I really thought Boston had them beat after game 3. Unfortunately for myself, some of the drama was lost as i was playing Animal Crossing when Bickel scored to tie it up. I guess i'd already accepted it was going to 7.

I'm always seeing discounted PS+ Cards online. If you shop around i'm sure you could get it for cheaper than whatever Sony is asking for it outright. There's a slightly different selection of games coming to the EU (Gravity Rush and Uncharted: GA, Chronovualt? and Mutant Blobs Attack), but i'm still very much excited to get on board with this. It's just a shame Wipeout won't be available.

If it wasn't for the impracticality of having to carry it around in my pocket, i'd be sold on the idea. The idea is sound, it looks great and from what i gather its an all around brilliant device. Its size is its biggest weakness and its biggest strength.

Most probably got my wires crossed. I vaguely remember Thisismynext/Engadget mentioning something about the Vita running some form of Android.

Skyfall - I'm not usually a bond guy. I tend to find them fairly by-the-numbers action flicks, but Skyfall really did knock my socks off. Daniel Craig is my favourite bond. I love the grit, and subtle (and not so) subtle references to previous films. All in all, a highly enjoyable film.

Any of you guy's had a chance to play it yet? The early reviews seem to be fairly decent, but they've certainly not been overwhelming.

Apparently they're in talks with Sony to bring it to Vita. Until (if) those talks are scrapped i'll get the PC version but from what i've seen, it looks like it might be perfect for the Vita.

I fully expect to quit this game after an hour. I've heard its terrifying. And i don't do well with scary games.

I actually loved the combat system and found it to be a little more understandable than the second game. Granted i played them on different platforms but if you take the time to learn the system, it shouldn't be too big a problem later in the game.

The Raid. Finally got around to seeing it and i loved it. Thrilling, Suspenseful and just down right good fun.

Thats my next book. 3rd time reading for me. I love it. Currently reading 'And Another Thing'. Part 6 of Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy. It doesn't have quite as much charm as Adam's books, but the new author does a decent enough job. I'm about a 1/3 of the way through so far.

Looper - One of my favourite films of the year. I've been waiting for it for so long, and it didn't disappoint. Warrior - Had my blubbering. A bit formulaic, but whatever, i loved it. Cocktail - I've no idea why i recorded this, but i did and to my great surprise it was pretty good. Very enjoyable. I finally understand why people in the 80's loved Elizabeth Shue. Back boob.

Has anyone read the recent 'Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe' series? Some people seem to think its the best Deadpool comic around, whilst some think its utter crap. I've not read any Deadpool, but i'm really excited about these.

I've got the Book of Memories demo on download right now. So i'll give you my opinions after i've played a little of that. Honestly, i'm not a massive Silent Hill guy, but i'll give anything a go on that screen. Back to LBP. Its one of my favourite games of the year so far. I can't stop playing it. Looks great too. One last thing. I'm finally starting to notice some Vita ads on TV. In the last week alone i must have seen 7-8 Vita adverts for LBP and FIFA13. Thats got to be a good sign surely?

The Newsroom. I got through the entire first season in just about 6 days this past week. I don't know how i feel about the show to be honest. I enjoyed aspects of it, such as the character interaction and the production of the 'show inside the show', however some parts really got up my nose. I'll probably give it a second season, but i hope they tone down the America Ra-Ra aspect of the show. Maybe tone down Emily Mortimer's character as well. The actress is doing a great job but the character is flat-out annoying.

I'm not sure you can. I've pressed, prodded, and flicked at the screen and buttons for a good ten minutes and nothing happens. Unless, maybe the colours only change in accordance to the colour that you use on the menu.
