Games should be released on Friday in time for the weekend. Sunday is the worst day to release a game.

Crysis 2 worked better on a controller because of the way they designed the combat. In that game you had to have quick access to the cloak, armor, jump, melee, run, aim and crouch buttons all at once. That can be very hard on a keyboard and it's worse if you need to do any of those things simultaneously. I imagine it's a similar problem with AC3 where you need to press many different buttons at the same time and a K&M really limits that.

Okay, Boycott! Really though, will you guys not buy this because of the always on DRM? Even if it's only $5 at some point? For me the always on DRM stuff decreases the game's value. What was a $30 purchase now becomes a $10 purchase. I would have preordered BF3 for $60 but because of the origin stuff I only got it later for $30. I don't really care to boycott but DRM does influence how much I'll pay for a game.

Fixing the Jets is a big deal. I'm glad they fixed the flares breaking your lock on. Seems like balancing the air has been the worst part about BF3 so far.

Yeah, I don't think Zimmerman behaved well at all. He clearly ignored the 911 operator. That being said, there's no evidence that there's any racial motivation behind this stuff. What is crazy is that this case has been turned into a racial flashpoint. People are out protesting when there are so many other things going on in our country and government that could use a bit less voter apathy.

I've downloaded a bunch of soundtracks straight off of zophar.net which has remained up for quite some time so I never really thought about it as pirating. I think soundtracks are best given away as bonuses. I like when games do that.

AC:B is where the retcon began. I did not get that impression in AC1 or 2.

The demo for Binary Domain really wasn't bad. I might pick that one up at the $20 price point.

I've been playing it from GameFly. It really is a fun little thing; not sure if I'd ever spend a bunch on it, but it certainly isn't bad.
