  1. Man, you guys just don't like fun.
  2. Ah, cool. Are they normal abilities that you can unlock or does it list them but not tell you how to obtain them...or are they kept a complete surprise?
  3. I'd not heard of these. Anyone able to confirm them?
  4. Seven clips from the film http://www.g33kpron.com/archives/2154 Although, that might spoil a fair chunk of it...
  5. Thing is, a lot of that is only relevant with hindsight. Sure, it's admirable in the way the stuff is there to demonstrate the various aspects but you're not going to know some of them are there or how to do certain things without having read the manual.
  6. Two chicks at the same time, man.

I saw the original Reddit thread of that. Twas good. Also http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b011pwd9/Queen_Days_of_Our_Lives_Episode_1/ Part 2 is tonight. Was a fun watch.

  7. If you've not played Just Cause 2, then you should... http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-JC2/just-cause-2 (PC only though)
  8. I can't comment on the game myself, but it seems there has been a lot of talk about the opening to The Witcher II. Some people are claiming inadequate tutorials (or 'tooltips') while others are saying people should be reading the manual. So... Do you think game manuals should be required reading or should a game be able to teach you all its mechanics as it goes? Personally, I like when I can just get into a game and learn as I go but it can make for some boring openings sometimes; or it messes with the fiction as your badass hero is learning some pretty basic stuff. Obviously this can vary from game to game, but I don't think I'd criticise one for not including (hand-holding) tutorials. Sometimes, figuring things out for yourself can be fun and quite satisfying.
  9. Haha. I guess this isn't really 'Fucking Kotaku' but it's funny because I can imagine a fair few people fuming at these. http://twitter.com/#!/stephentotilo/status/74592398440800256 http://twitter.com/#!/stephentotilo/status/74616339465117696 Stephen Trolltilo?
  10. Could be good... 'Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard, Anjelica Huston and Philip Baker Hall....a comedy/drama based on the real-life experiences of screenwriter Will Reiser and his battle with cancer, is, throughout, honest, touching and hilarious, offering equal measures of tears and laughter. Though the entire cast is excellent, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, especially, turns out the single greatest performance of his already-incredible career.' http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=78152
  11. I remember reading about it on RPS I look forward to your review.
  12. Might interest some folks? =p http://squallsdead.com/?1

'I choose to believe that this is how the game was intended to be understood because, to me, the game makes no sense otherwise.'

Not really a sound basis for theories about an FF game. =p

      Faiblesse Des Sens

      Lol. I've seen this before.

    3. Mr. GOH!

      Mr. GOH!

Man, every second spent thinking about the story of any FF game is a second wasted forever.

  13. By 'later stuff' I mean what I said before (except I got it wrong, I only had four cases). ...and I've finished the game. Man...
  14. Wait, that means whoever wrote that is older than 15. I would have doubted that for a start...
  15. Hurray. Should finally be getting my PC back on Tuesday. And it'll be nice to start The Witcher II with it recently patched and all the DLC made available. =D

  16. The first time I saw him was Jurassic Park. The second time I saw him was Sirens. Now that's a film you want to see when you're 15.
  17. Yeah, I rarely used intuition points. Only when I was stuck with some tricky interrogations (and once or twice where I couldn't find all the clues). It's just I ranked up quite fast and you're only allowed a maximum of 5. It's OK though because, without wanting to spoil it for others, it seems the later stuff is a bit easier and less reliant on interviews.
  18. Yeah, he's where I saw the original conversation. I guessed it was the whole game being redownloaded on Steam. My friend's theory was that GoG's is a p2p launcher, but I doubt that.
  19. http://twitter.com/#!/Totalbiscuit/status/73870006160601088 Just a slight discrepancy.
  20. I always remembered Event Horizon not so much for the 'scares' but for freaking me out. Haven't seen it in about ten years though.
  21. I did manage to get a download of Final Liberation working on my PC a few months back, although I think it did occasionally crash. Not sure about Chaos Gate unfortunately. The worst thing about Chaos Gate was naming your guys. I spent ages doing one mission just to make sure I didn't lose one of my named dudes.
  22. Man, I loved Chaos Gate. I spent hours playing that and Final Liberation.
  23. I might read the books because the background and everything seem pretty cool and well-researched...plus I love that sort of thing. And regarding the game: I've reached maximum rank so I now have 5 intuition points left for the next 5 cases?! Yikes...
