I loved that. Although, I think it was the RotK one that had co-op and bigger battles and could actually be quite tough at points. Two Towers one may have had co-op but I don't remember that. Pretty decent challenge as Legolas as well; actually had to be careful with combos and such.

I remember when it was unveiled a short while ago and it sounded pretty cool for the reasons you've stated, Kenshi. If it has co-op then it may very well be a buy...depending on the general gameplay too, obviously.

That's probably right, but you'd expect maybe one would make it in. I know I only chose one game from each series when it came to Halo, GTA and Burnout (and I guess Sonic) but they just as easily could have gone above some of the others later in the list.

It is advisable, yes. Even if you just cheat your way through it, you can at least get the story and continuity from your playthrough.

Hmm, interesting, thanks. Seems I'm jumping up 6 ranks according to that. It's more necessity than just wanting a definitive upgrade though. Old card failed and I then left my PC with a guy who said he can't fix it, so I was running reasonably priced cards by him to find which would fit the thing (it's got some weird mobo and a smaller case) and that seemed the best for the money. Hopefully my friend can fix the old card and I'll be able to get something for it, but I should 'only' be around £120 out of pocket otherwise.

Just ordered a new graphics card to be fitted to my PC: Asus ATI Radeon HD5750 Supposed to be very good for the price and it's apparently three 'tiers' above my previous, according to Tom's Hardware, who my friends claim is very reliable. On the downside, it might be a couple of weeks before I get my PC back; so no Witcher II for me. LA Noire had better be good... Indeed!

I'm sure they've said something about that before, Ethan. I'll be damned if I can be bothered to go looking for it, but it was probably from a Eurogamer interview or hands-on or something. Something about it being a bit more open, and you get story strands you can pick up and follow.

I can see what you're saying, and I don't hold Frank Miller's 'story-telling' in very high regard, but those stories were quite important in their time as well as going to areas other writers might not have before.
