Yeah, picking the right evidence with which to confront someone can be tricky. I usually look back at the log to see the dialogue because my brain is sometimes sort of jumping ahead with regards to what has been established. Although the last case I did (last traffic one) really bugged me because it treated some connected evidence as two separate entries. What do I use: evidence from the scene, or evidence from their location?! When the case wound up it seemed like maybe I should've picked a different conversational choice but I'm not 100% on that...

I think there's a bit of confusion. I don't think P4's posting of the PC Gamer review was connected to what Arion was saying. Seems he was treating it like new information, not trying to make a point about combat or whatnot.

One thing that sounds like it will bug me is the 'responsiveness'. The timing and such is a crucial thing for action games and is really annoying when developers screw it up. Oh, and I received my copy today. Can't play it yet but had a look through the contents. Pretty cool I must say. Although I was flicking through what I thought was the manual thinking 'This seems a bit detailed...' only to check the front and find it's an actual game guide. Silly me. Kinda funny putting a full-on guide with your game though.

D= Howwwwww I pre-order from GAME, and Friday releases always arrive at least a day early (got Uncharted II two days early)

Can I just copy Kenshi's? But add in 'song/album' too.

Got my copy today. Thoughts to come later...

It was Rx Bandits' 'The Resignation'. I was expecting something more like their previous stuff: a simpler blend of punk, ska and reggae. Instead it is something a little more progressive and all the better for it. Turns out the line-up almost completely changed before the album and the newer musicians were phenomenal (the existing drummer got a chance to step up his game too). As a teenager I had very 'immature' tastes and almost exclusively stuck to (pop) punk. I'd probably credit earlier Rx Bandits albums with starting this broadening but this was where they really pushed the envelope and pretty much ditched ska altogether (there is some reggae-style stuff in there). Here are some samples: With all the different tastes I guess it can be a matter of chance that two people would choose to discuss something. Thems the breaks.

Possibly my favourite album of all time took a little while to grow on me. Slowly it got its hooks into me and, I have to say, probably widened my music tastes a little.

Ugh, no offence to you but I really dislike Duffy. I just can't stand that voice probably because of that 'rain on your parade' song that just does my head in. She lands on the same note again and again doing that horribly over-emphasised vibrato. 'I'm gonna rain on your paraAaAaAade, no I won't take it agaAaAaAain' And then the 'raining, raining raining' stabs into my brain before it finishes with 'over yoOoOoOou' Sure, she can sing and all. I just hate that voice. Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

Not a single top ten for me yet (although I knew OoT would make it), but I do really want to play Chrono Trigger and SotC.

Ultimate X-Men was really hit or miss, even though I liked it when I first started reading comics. I think Vaughn did a couple of arcs on the series but they weren't brilliant. Kirkman and that Heroes writer completely killed the series then Loeb came to blow its remains up. I quite liked Ultimate Spider-Man around the same time too (I seem to remember a particularly hilarious crossover with Ultimate X-Men), but I've not had a chance to reread any of that since, so my recollection might be off.

Attack the Block. It was entertaining and had a good mix of things but it was definitely aimed at a younger audience. Not a bad thing obviously but the humour was mostly pretty simple. I was actually surprised at how explicit some of the gore was. A couple of other things bothered me; I won't go into one in case of spoilers but the other is the dialogue. I get that the guy did his research, but at points it felt just thrown in (or phrased poorly) to show he'd done his research. Also, I remember calling my cousin an idiot years ago for referring to police as 'the feds'...seems young'uns are still that dumb. Apparently they use the term 'five-oh' too. I guess you can't stop that sort globalisation but those are American terms. On a side-note: I had Skittles and there is now a blue one. It is nice!

I might give it a try with a controller, because it seems the combat is very much about movement and I'm rubbish at WASD.

Now that Yant's mentioned it, the time KOTOR came out was when I did move away from JRPGs... Although, I'd only really played FF games, and the only one I've played since was Lost Odyssey, but that was really good. I would've put ME1 or 2 in my list but then I figured I should just choose one BioWare RPG (because they are similar in many ways) and KOTOR was my first, so...

I think the feedback and everything is there. And it was quite easy to make headshots. It just made some horseback stuff quite a challenge with only Dead Eye really helping out there. Wildlife could be a pest too...

What I don't like, from the sounds of it, is block being linked to endurance/vigour/stamina/whatevershityouwanttocallit. That was part of the reason I disliked Morrowind. Although, it sounds like dodging is 'free'.

I will probably turn off a lot, if not all, of the assists. Not quite the same thing, but I played the entirety of RDR without any aim-assist; although that may have been partly why I felt the combat was just a bit lame. Eurogamer said you'd be a masochist to turn off hints...but this should be different though. I hope...

If you liked Two Towers then you should like the follow-up.

I saw Totilo demonstrate that 'ask the audience' style thing (the majority was wrong).

While I'm not a huge fan of this song, I can't wait to hear their new stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oaek2usdS0
