  1. And this is why I love PC gaming. Gonna have to look at some ini tweaks myself, I think. Aaaaaand my review is finished.
  2. I have a review draft up on GDrive. Should any PXODitors care to offer some feedback, I would be most appreciative. =)

  3. Also, Ubisoft ports of PC games don't have the greatest reputation. They may be cheaper, but you get what Uplay for. If Ethan has that disposable income, that's up to him (the fool!)
  4. Eh, why not? I'll probably play them someday... http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/action/legacy-kain-pack/
  5. Of the ones I've seen... 1. The Avengers 2. Iron Man 3. Iron Man 3 4. Thor
  6. I'm pretty sure you don't need to be a fan of westerns to appreciate the greatness of that film, Ethan. Magicians Actually saw this not long after it came out and remember being surprised by how good it was so I grabbed it on DVD recently and rewatched it. You definitely need to be a fan of Mitchell & Webb and the whole Peep Show vein of humour, and it has some great supporting actors as well. Jessica Hynes is great. Kick-Ass 2 It's an odd film in that nothing really feels 'complete' yet it's still a fun watch, mainly thanks to the continued ridiculousness and some fun performances from people like Donald Faison, Jim Carrey and Christopher Mintz-Plasse among others (Night Bitch was hot). Hit Girl had a nice little story arc that kinda wound up being...lame. It kind of exemplifies the film's main problem in that it goes for relatively serious story beats and does well, only for it to peter out under all the bombast. It feels like it wants to say something but ultimately feels undermined. Really bizarre seeing so many British actors, even compared to the first film. I was wondering what had happened to Steven Mackintosh (turns out he was on Luther), and it was odd seeing the 'romantic interest' from the Alan Partridge film as his superhero wife, Jorah Mormont as a mafia boss, other heroes and villains were mostly British TV actors, one of the 'mean girls' is British, and even one of Dave's friends has been replaced by a British actor. I guess they were cheaper.
  7. Robocop was originally American Jesus. The death scene has parallels and, of course, he walks on water at the end.
  8. Eh, I'd wait till the sequel. Grabbed the 400 Days DLC for The Walking Dead since it's 50% off now.
  9. As far as I'm aware, it's real. It has to be (don't ruin this for me!) He wasn't an amazing drummer but he was pretty damn good in his own way. I mean he had to 'keep up' with whatever direction John, Paul or George decided to go and you could probably identify a lot of Beatles songs based on the drumbeat.
  10. You are a cat. Swat stuff onto the floor.
  11. Oh, I didn't mean your example. Yours was pretty much the same point I was making. When someone claims someone else 'used' Godwin's Law and, therefore, lost.
  12. Oh god, I hate when people say Godwin's Law was 'used'.
  13. Pfft, just do a 'Previously On...' and superimpose him over the other dude. No one will notice.
  14. Ha, it's no biggie. Not as if there aren't a billion ways for me to share photos anyway.
  15. I thought it would be appropriate to steal Ethan's bandwidth for this BUT GUESS WHAT HE WAS ALREADY STEALING IT THE DIRTY HOTLINKER Was tempted to get the special edition but then I realised I don't really care for the extra stuff, it's £19 extra...aaaaand it's a steelbook.
  16. Even after finding out, I can never remember what 'smh' means. I just know that 'so much hate' is close enough.

    Pets!

We lost our really old cat. He was 18/19, and you could tell he was on the way out because he'd become very fragile, stopped cleaning himself then couldn't always keep food down, and he had those tumours that old cats get. He died naturally at least. I'm not overbearingly upset like I was with some of our other cats, partly because my mum's not even in the country at the moment (and she'd probably set everyone off), but also because he'd had a good, long life. Plus, he was a really irritating cat for the most part. Anyway, this was him looking classy at Christmas. (Damn, look at that clean, white fur)
  18. Yeah, it's a shame. I think that, given more time and/or a proper full release schedule (and perhaps without having to adhere to the Nickelodeon version), they could have created something quite remarkable. I've always wanted a more Ninja Gaiden-like TMNT game, but I know they will always have to compromise between younger and older audiences.
  19. At the very start, watch the middle of the screen at the very top.
  20. Most definitely. Essentially, fun can be had if you're willing to overlook a lot of the flaws but I don't think that's so easy if you're not too fond of the actual licence itself. At 50% off or something like that, I could see it as a lot more palatable.
  21. TMNT: Out of the Shadows A pretty fun (and challenging) game once it gets going (i.e. you unlock some upgrades), but I can see why so many people have written it off early/after the demo. Basically, a neat game made by people who love the franchise but lacking a lot of polish, clearly due to a rushed development cycle (take a bow, Activision and Xbox 'Summer of Arcade'!). I may share more thoughts in the thread...or perhaps I shall do a review for PXOD, seeing as it's a 'smaller' game.
  22. Hey, I might not spend all his screentime wishing this character were dead. http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/08/30/game-of-thrones-daario-recast-in-season-4
