On the 22nd, not only do a slew of games including KZ3 come out, but we get the DAII demo - and another demo. I can't remember what for, though. Gonna be a busy day!

Huh. I was just on Steam's page for Crysis 2, since that's now up. Under the rating: 'Blood Partial Nudity Strong Language Violence' The others are a given - but Partial Nudity? I was not expecting any T&A from Crysis. Granted, Partial Nudity tends to mean diddly, usually just like a swimsuit or something, but I have no idea where even that would come from in this game. Billboards or ads, maybe? Or maybe we get to see some dude's butt when he's doing some Crysis suit changing. Either way, weird.

Weird - IGN had that too. I wonder if IGN was linking that video, or if they both did it on their own.

Wow, Blizzard's finally returning to consoles? I guess it makes sense with how much money that game is going to pull in, and Activision having Blizzard under its umbrella, and there for thinking of the extra $$$ a console release would bring.

Probably not - my girlfriend's been basically locking me up at her house. Currently trying to make protest signs for more time at home. I think I'm going to enforce them for sure next week, with KZ3 coming out. Soooo, Uncharted 2 next week? Also, I forgot one of the cords I need to get sound through my headphones over there, so I have to go back tonight to get that for whenever my next return trip here is. Arghh.

The production values just look so bad for the Live Action. I want to think it'll be awesome, Felicia Day and all, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna suck.

Dead State looks awesome. I will likely be buying both of these games.

The NPC armor thing does suck, I completely agree, but give it a chance first - that PC Gamer review sounded glowing. I've got the faith still. Still, I'd recommend anyone that didn't pre-order it back in the Signature Edition days go ahead and wait at this point, particularly if you're skeptical, because buying at launch is going to lose you tons of content that I'm use you'll be able to get in a year or so for the same price in the inevitable 'Ultimate Edition.' It's kind of shitty that games are moving in this direction - DAII has always been a pre-order purchase for me, but not every game can be, and I tend to get frustrated when I know I'm missing content. Alas.

I am super freaking excited about this - I thought the game was dead in the water (like that lady in the second screenshot, harr). I remember seeing initial screenshots yeaaars ago and being very excited for the game, then disappointed I never heard more about it. It looks they may have put that time to good use, however! The CG trailer was excellent and pretty depressing - good music too. My fingers are crossed for this one!

Have you tried the support forums maybe?

BC3 is the core franchise, so I imagine it will just be everything BC2 was, but magnified somewhat, and possibly without the Single Player portion.

I know - I remember when PC games had demos left and right, and every issue of a gaming magazine for PC had super awesome demos. Boy, I miss those glory days sometimes.

Yep Pir, demo is also PC.

I'm going to be home tomorrow and should be able to have some time to play tomorrow, if you folks are around! I even have all the components of my mic/headset now, so I can use that - yay!

PC Gamer (online) has a pretty interesting Top 100 PC list. http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/02/16/the-100-best-pc-games-of-all-time/ If nothing else, you might find some games you missed playing that it's time to dig up.

I'm pretty excited - I loved the Bad Company games, and I'm excited to see what they're going to do when they go 'all out' on one of their 'main series' sequels. I mean, if they've canned like three other games just to focus on this, it had better be damn good. Can't wait to see some gameplay!

I have to agree with Faiblesse here - there's nothing like going onto Yahoo, or some other miserable news source where you see nothing but rancid comments clambering to kill one person or another. That said, I'm not sure what is to be said or done about something like this. It's a sad, hideous situation.

The sequel could probably have been something special if it had the right amount of dedication. The first was fun, but insanely frustrating at times. Still, DICE has been working like crazy lately, possibly spread too wide and thin. I think rather than flat-out canceling this project and the others that have been canned, it would have been nice to see it put on hold.
