  1. Ever have a game that just made you want to hide under a blanket because one part of it was just too freaky? Or needed to have a friend get you through that level? Did a game ever give you nightmares or phobias? Post them here. I'll give a start by dipping back into my wee self as a seven year old. In Lands of Lore, you have to find your way through a maze that happens to be a spider spawning ground. I couldn't play through it without freaking out. The same goes for the underground ruins with snake-people.
  2. Awww, you're not such a badmin, afterall.
  3. She's my own creation. I like to draw her in just about anything. She's like a barbie doll, only on a sketchpad. I do have a tablet, but I use free paint programs to draw on. I have an easier time using my mouse on MS paint for some reason. Here's a tablet example:
  4. My niece and I were drawing with her crayons a couple weeks back, here's what I ended up making:
  5. I used my mouse and MS Paint. I don't have photoshop...
  6. I constructed a 3D Jaws decoration for my bathroom wall. I also own a Jaws shirt and have all the movies--even the bad ones. Also, I regularly play Arkham Horror with my old high school buddies, drink vodka with them, then we all play Black Ops.
  7. WHERE THE LIVING HELL IS THE DEADPOOL MOVIE THEY PROMISED US!!? AND TASKMASTER HAD BETTER BE A VILLAIN IN THERE. Also, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I love Anne Hathaway, but as Catwoman I've got my doubts... It can't be as bad as Halle Berry though...
  8. I guess it'd be kinda hard to pull off Red Skull the way he is in the comics... But for some reason Hellboy pops into my head when I see that... But I will hold my opinion until I see the movie. I just hope hope hope Red Skull turns out okay.
  9. I admit that I do this in texting in situations where no more than an acknowledgement is required (i.e. I receive a message that says "The movie is at 9"), because I feel like it's rude to not respond at all. Texting is passable, especially if you have a caveman phone like mine that has 3 letters per number. I was reffering to instant messages and stuff, since they are internet-related.
  10. Oh yeah--for Vegas and stuff. Can't have ourselves getting angry e-mails from someone's mom for letting their kid look at bewbs.
  11. I think I'm going to dump you guys in a chatroom or on an MMO with a bunch of 15-year-old yaoi-loving girls for a good four hours and then let you get back to me on your opinion of "Sasuke is so kawaii!! ^-^ Anyone who thinks Ochimaru is hot is a baka >:3"
  12. It is kinda hard to tell when half the people hide their ages. Some of the people who posted their pics look like they're still in high school. But it seems like a lot of people are moving here from Kotaku, which is understandable. Kotaku does have a higher 18-and under range.
  13. Gappoi is starting to attract a younger crowd, I see.
  14. During the D-K lemon wars, I made this as our rebel banner:
  15. I was almost a model, but now I have scars... -Sniffle-
  16. Why won't Jack respond to my sexual advances... May have to resort to rape...
  17. Changed by hair a bit. Now I have bangs.
  18. Oh yes--that's really important. But you should drink lots of water either way. Actually, drinking semi-warm water can make you feel full.
  19. I used to work at Gamestop a few years back (seasonal), and more often than not we had to ask for addresses for returns, trade-ins, and if you suspected you were up to something during a purchase. This came in handy when a lady had stolen games from Wal-Mart and tried to trade them back in. My boss made a crack about them looking like they were just bought and the lady got really defensive. (She looked like a crack addict so it was pretty obvious we knew what she was up to, and when we caught on she started raging.) The topic won't bother me because Gamestop already has my info. If it's just the address alone I don't really care too much because that's general information anyone can find by doing a simple google search or just looking in the damn phone book. Now if it were my e-mail or my phone they were giving out I'd probably be getting pissed.
  20. My major pet peeves: -People who talk baby talk. I can't stand it when people (especially adults) will sit there and go 'I luff chu, do you luff meh? OMG SKITTLES AND COOKIES NOM NOM NOM. *Giggle* Imma hit you! -People who will message you one word at a time OMG -People who respond to you with just 'k' -People who use 'kawaii' or 'baka' or 'desu' randomly in their sentences. You're not Japanese, stop it! -People who assume everyone except people in their cliche are noobs and assume that having an abrasive approach to everything is somehow cool.
  21. I lost a lot of weight removing soda from diet. Eating a lot of fiber will help you, too. I suggest getting fiber granola bars as a snack. Eating generally healthy is really the thing--you shouldn't starve yourself or refuse yourself a snack now and then. Moderation is everything. But if you REALLY want to lose weight, EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE. There's no way you're gonna drop a lot of weight on dieting alone, I can tell you this from experience. I was once pushing 200 lbs, but I worked my ass off and dropped down to 128 lbs. Just doing exercise tapes, eating healthier, and getting activity in my life.
  22. Sounds like your friend has serious issues. Maybe he's going through some serious depression and feels he should cut himself off from his friends. I agree with everything else, though. If he's more trouble than he is fun to be around and he just throws your friendship in your face--cut yourself off from him. Maybe he'll wise up or maybe he'll not talk to you again. But you really shouldn't bend over backwards for a person who considers you bad. I was in a situation like your friend once where I was so depressed I felt I didn't deserve friends so I stopped talking to them. In the end it's up to you what you choose to do with your friend here. Just don't wear yourself out.
