I never really cared for Marceline as a character before this episode. Not that I hated her or anything, but like most of the other characters most of the time in the show, she had a typical routine when it came to the plot. Either she had a father issue or was the rebellious one who didn't show her feelings easily. I will say, the Doormaster episode warmed me up to her more given that it showed she cared for others in the show rather than just pulling pranks or acting wild. I've felt like the father issue stuff is typical, you know, how "daddy do you love me" and he actually does but it's not so obvious to her. This episode though, I actually for once feel like she has gone through some deep emotional trauma. Sure there was the buttface Ash, but she handled it on her own until Finn and Jake accidentally erased the break up. EDIT: Typo...

Heck, even when I'm in my own private room I prefer to use headphones. Not only for better sound quality, but the walls are not really sound proof.

I'm actually thinking of having a costume for Halloween this year... Well, sorta. I want to make a Haunter that I can have hanging off of me, but for the life of me I don't know what materials I would use.

Luleå is where I'm at. We often reach below -35C before windchill in january and february, sometimes hitting -40.

Sounds pretty much the same, haha... Our record lows are below -40 for Dec, Jan, Feb, but it's really not common. We often get a few days to a week here and there of -32 to -35.
I once tried skating in -32 as a kid, but the ice was too sticky, haha... couldn't form the bead of water under the blades!

Looking through the episodes list and, I have to wonder, does it bug anyone else to think that we're "technically" about to have a fifth season for a series that's only two and a half years old? I mean, I guess that's what we'll get with series having a 15-minute structure.

Yep, caught it. Not much else was shown about Marceline given that in her memories we saw she lived during the wars, but her relationship to Ice King was different from most anything in Adventure Time. They really got me because I didn't know where the story was leading. I still think my theory that holds true, but who would know the exact consequences because it's the only thing keeping him alive. Of course, now we see there's a connection between EDIT: And Hambo, and now we know.

You hear a lot of complaints about stores, and etc. However, waiting in a line really can't be a fault of any one store. See, I think that's what is known as "life" and how other people do things like shopping just like you.

Self serve is cumbersome for coupons and items which have price discrepancies.

Maybe it's different how US is set up with self-serve but over here there's staff keeping an eye on things n scales on the bagging area. Never had issues with marked down items either. Only issue is the voice.

I agree with Rev, but you shouldn't be in the self-serve aisle if that's the case. Though apparently you Europe there's crazy shit where you scan the items yourself as you put them in the cart.
But yeah, self-serve is always staffed over here, it's no different than stealing from the rest of the store.

Basically, all the parts we know about shown and in their designated layout along with comparisons to similar Wii features and parts. EDIT: Also, I would buy a transparent WiiU over any color!

Does anyone remember when Black Friday ads started leaking online? BFAds.net only has two stores so far and I'm hoping there will be some deals on the new PS3. Given that the WiiU comes out 5 days before Black Friday, most people should be focusing their attention on that console.

Ah, yes! Black Friday. I have studied and got deals on clothes, electronics, home furnishings, and a ton more shit, sleeping little. Let me tell you, there is no reasoning as to timing. Business needs to plan. So, they have a great idea of what is on sale and what is not well before BF. They should all be out, for the most part, by the first week of November, which is not too far away!

Make sure to specify where you're willing to ship and make sure you know how much it's going to cost.

Package it properly too. If it was packaged properly then you can lay the blame on the delivery service if it gets damaged in transport and most delivery services will refund for that.

Nah, just joining in on the 1080p discussion. Does anyone know of a good 2.5 SATA HDD enclosure? I'm looking around because I figure my old 2.5 SATA from my deceased PS3 will be my future WiiU's external HDD. EDIT: Nevermind, I found myself something.

Alright, so the technician really knew what he was talking about because after discussing my experience with the console and the graphical bugs I've had, it was the memory failing on the motherboard. However, he doesn't have a spare motherboard and my only option now is to try selling the PS3 for parts given that the power supply and blu-ray drive are in fine working order.

If I can sell the power supply and blu-ray drive, then everything else is pretty much trash (possibly try to sell memory card reader too). Afterwards, I'll try to give the rest a proper send-off.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is 1080p, but at the same time all I've read is that the 3DS version runs at 60 fps in full 3D. I swear I read that the WiiU version is 60 fps too, but I keep finding 3DS sources.

Yes, even without a PS3 to play it on, my copy of Dishonored arrived in the mail today. Yep, clad in the yellow amazon envelope with "CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS II" on the back and side.
