  1. Because there's a generational theme, you'll always want to start with Part 1. I mean, Part 3 does a good job of moving forward assuming you know two of the prominent characters, but otherwise it definitely made itself independent from the prior Parts. Diamond is Unbreakable doesn't nearly have the Stand of the Week formula as Stardust Crusaders does for its narrative. Stardust Crusaders is a quest through foreign lands and vastly strange enemies. Diamond is Unbreakable is a story of a small group of town residents defending their town from a lurking evil. It's one location, but the further focus on Stands and their Users makes it intriguing to how it affects a more typical setting.
  2. I think I'm close to putting Destiny back down. Not because of the horrible treatment of Festival of the Lost this year (which believe me pisses me off), but because the RNG is all that's left. I finally got the Year 3 Thorn Exotic Quest to drop. I went about that, but the part that was awful was needing to have a Skeleton Key to open up the chest at the end of the Abomination Heist Strike. Turns out I didn't pick up the Skeleton Key that dropped for me, so I was pleasantly surprised, but who knows which strike it was when it dropped. The first one? The fourth one? The last one when I gave up? Anyway, I only really mention this because when I finished that Strike and it was time to open that chest... I got stuck in one of those damn containment traps! Destiny's awful jump physics caused me to bump into one of those walls and dropped me down straight into one. I began panicking because I forgot if you have to try and get yourself out of it or it was just time-based. I only had 23 seconds to get to the chest and open it. Finally at 13 seconds left, I ran over and the Open prompt wasn't displaying. I panicked further and eventually it did open. All that hassle to unlock an Exotic from a strike. Of course the Thorn has been nerfed to kingdom come because of the general handcannon nerf and because a vocal community couldn't counter the DoT of Thorn. It's alright for PvE, but I rather use another Exotic. Still, I have some good memories of Year 1 Thorn. Just like Hawkmoon, there was a time when you were feared and loathed for having it. Kinda like the lore of Dregen Yor.
  3. Wait till you see what Diamond is Unbreakable has in store for you in terms of Stand Users, let alone the actual Stands.
  4. I'm glad Decidueye's second type is Ghost. I believe the rumors had it as something else. Anywho, I'm glad the OG trainer decided to come out of that cave.
  5. Wireless 802.11n is still prominent in a standard home. It does depend on what kind of media the household is involved in, but point being the Switch could comfortably be on 802.11n just like the Wii U without being a problem.
  6. Can I be honest and say, well, I'm not that into Dragon Ball Super anymore. I don't like how it has become the Goku-Vegeta Power Hour. Everyone else, aside from Bulma, stands on the sidelines while Goku and Vegeta become demigods. Yeah there was that "arc" with Frieza coming back where the others held off Frieza's henchmen, but it ultimately came down to Goku and Vegeta again. Granted that's how Dragon Ball Z felt near the end where if you weren't Super Saiyan, then what're ya doing here? Of course, Piccolo was a serious contender during the Cell Saga too. Likewise, Gohan was the prodigy child capable of harnessing immense power to rival his father. Now he's more focused on his career and family. Very admirable, but at the same time he should have found some time to keep part of his strength. I do believe Super is going to have an arc for just that, but it's kinda sad to see Gohan get torn apart when he use to kick the likes of Super Buu around. On an unrelated note, Diamond is Unbreakable OP 3 is best Jojo OP.
  7. Chances are there's going to be proprietary connections and what not, but at the same time I guarantee there will be a third party option with a USB Type A plug for USB AC adapters. I still have my USB cable I got for my New 3DS that I honestly prefer over my old AC adapter.
  8. Only one? http://m.ign.com/articles/2016/10/20/developers-respond-to-nintendo-switch It's not confirming any specific games, probably besides the standard fair of Just Dance and etc, but there is interest and support from more than just Bethesda.
  9. The only BC I see the Switch having is possibly 3DS games. Granted the slot and cartridges look different for the Switch, but the actual inside of the slot could maybe support a 3DS cartridge. Given that the rumors are looking true, the Switch is a merger of Nintendo home and portable console development.
  10. Switch, a.k.a. "Guys, this isn't another Wii" Super skeptical of the performance, but we clearly see the intent of the console now.
  11. This was posted a year ago. There's also one on the Electoral College, but I feel like you can view any video on it to understand how borked the whole thing is.
  12. To add to that, the demo has been datamined and there are spoilers for all the new Pokémon. Keep that in mind if you wanted to go in fresh and happen to be browsing the Internet.
  13. Anyone else been playing Overwatch since the Halloween update? Junkenstein's Revenge is legitimately fun and puts the other Brawls to shame. Only downside is that there aren't any special rewards akin to PvE events. Sure there are achievements that unlock a spray, but that's it. Otherwise you're playing for the unique nature of the Brawl. The Halloween event stuff can be purchased with the game's currency, but it's all 3 times the regular cost. Glad there's the option, though truthfully it's kinda a kick in the pants when the only method of gaining currency is through duplicates and the RNG of Lootboxes giving you 50-500. I've already mentioned how laughable the duplicate value is on items.
  14. So two questions: 1. Would it still be a problem keeping my older CPU for modern gaming? It seems that when people look into a 1060, they've been getting the Intel Core i5-6600 series processor alongside it. The problem is that those are LGA 1151 whereas my mobo is LGA 1150 socket. If I remember correctly, the CPU doesn't greatly affect gaming so long as you have a competent one for higher processing. I guess that's why on Titanfall 2's Recommended specs they say Intel Core i5-6600 or equivalent. Not sure if I'm getting the game yet, but have been considering it. https://www.titanfall.com/en_us/news/pc-specs/ 2. I see most of the 1060 variants have a trend of giving you a DVI-D, HDMI, and three DisplayPort. There is one from Asus where it's two HDMI and two DisplayPort and they say it's so you can have HDMI for both your monitor and VR headset. If I did get into VR, do the headsets require HDMI to be connected into them?
  15. Is there anything I should be aware of when thinking about upgrading my graphics card? In my example, I'm still running on my motherboard from over two years ago and haven't upgraded anything since. I'm looking at the 1060 series from Nvidia and I've read that most brands you can get a 1060 will be a good choice.
  16. Did you try Iron Banner? The way you rank up now is much easier and you can get easily rewarded just for playing. Got to Rank 5 fast and it helps that they no longer have IB buffs you would have to make sure you're using to optimize your progression. Only downside is that while you can get higher light gear and weapons, it's still a slow process as you're only going up little by little. Also hurts when the legendary weapons you get from the bounties have terrible rolls. Heck, I got a cool looking piece of Iron Breed armor, but the stats absolutely sucked. The only other downside will be based on how you see the new game mode, Supremacy. Personally, I'm not truly a fan, though it has its moments.
  17. Trying to overcome an Internet hivemind. You know you're right and there's even proper resources that prove your basic point. "Ha, no way! C'mon guys, isn't he wrong? If I have enough of you agree, then I'm right!"
  18. I could see a problem if you wanted to jump PS4 to PC, one platform to another, but considering our characters are tied to a Bungie account, all that data has to still be available in some form. If it's things like weapons and armor, we're use to that now. Sure I've kept all my old cloaks, but they're like memorabilia.
  19. Pretty sure you'll want to get a Vanguard or Crucible Ghost Shell as they're only 75 Legendary Marks. I made the mistake of getting a Faction Ghost Shell and those go for 100. Either way, I infused the one I bought with my Dread Explorer Ghost Shell. It's the best one for Rise of Iron because of Spinmetal and Fallen Glimmer bonus.
  20. Dean, I had the "Everything Update" happen to, so I don't think it was because of being non-RoI. Maybe because we haven't been on in forever, but who's to say. I haven't looked into it because it was easy enough to resolve. I'll get some more out of RoI, but I will say I'm not liking Supremacy in PvP. I thought I would, but it comes down to two things: Striker Titans everywhere and teammates not picking up Crests. Getting kills doesn't mean crap if you don't pick up the Crests. Seeing dumbass running away from them is so infuriating.
  21. If it's anything like The Taken King, the Raid might be the "ending" of this new content. Again, I haven't touched it yet because I'm going to be busy all of today, but that's what happened last time.
  22. What happens when your servers have been use to a sub-million lull and the Hype Train Express came roaring in the wee hours of the night. Not like I was going to get to it any time soon. I get we're thirsty for content, but this is the unfortunate downside of server-based games.
  23. Getting hyped for Rise of Iron. Given I have little free time, whatever amount of content should last me.

    1. TheMightyEthan

      TheMightyEthan

I don't know that hype is the right word for how I'm feeling, but I got interested enough to buy it.

  24. Reminds me of Pokerus. Of course, in that game it didn't really affect you.
  25. You mean like how Gold and Silver let you go to Kanto. Never played Black and White 2, but I think the only Pokemon game with a good story was Black and White. I doubt Sun and Moon will have something amazing, but we'll be getting cutscenes and junk.
