  1. Oh, goddamnit. That's why his voice sounded so familiar. I thought it sounded fine but now I'm just going to hear Chris Redfield all the time. Good job ruining this for me! Hey, if anything, I just improved your experience. As a boulder punching expert, it explains why Batman can take and throw out all those punches on Christmas Eve. And because he's Batman. EDIT: I'm not upset by Sterling's review either. What I've played doesn't merit a 3.5 in my opinion, but that's my opinion and experience so far.
  2. It's not a free pass, but some leniency, because it was going to be different from the Rocksteady games. It's why in all honesty there wasn't as much hype for the game. People were aware this was going to be a different experience because different people were going to be taking characters from another studio and creating an origin around them. For example, the voice acting isn't terrible to me (yet), but it's different. I love Kevin Conroy as Batman's voice, but Roger Craig Smith is alright. Just sometimes I'm imagining Chris Redfield in the Batsuit. I haven't met Joker yet, so I haven't heard a lot of his voice to judge if Troy Baker can pull off a good Joker.
  3. Hmm, seems like I could be Lee and pick the other option too. Lee knows best, Clem.
  4. Even on a full 0%-100% scale, it's still harsh. It's still an Arkham game, but it plays it safe. I can't truly fault them on it, what with this being a different studio, and in some ways it's comparable to the Assassin's Creed games Brotherhood and Revelations. Something that plays with a popular formula, but tries to add something new to make it not feel like filler for the next big installment. Now if this was from Rocksteady, I would be sitting back with the biggest "WTF" on my face. That's where I would wonder what went wrong, and be disappointed by its shortcomings, especially the combat system. Otherwise, I'm putting this game somwhere around average, so here's hoping the story can make make up for it.
  5. Because you're If it was anyone else, I'd be there with you, but it's Clem. Hell, I didn't even make
  6. Depends on the child though, especially a child who has barely been using a gun. It's why I brought up 400 Days and how we had Becca, someone who's innocence was quickly thrown away from a survivalist group mentality. I imagine Season 2 Clem is on par with Carl from the television series now, because she could have been surviving on her own, but Clem had a rough day in Episode 5. Even when she understood the world had changed, she still couldn't except when group memebers would be killed. She even cried over Ben, someone who so willingly left her to be Walker chow.
  7. Probably the PA Report as it is more in-line with my experience (so far). Though Sterling strikes a few good points, but I'm also playing on PS3 so the only technical gltiches and errors I've seen are the stuttering and enemies physics get a bit wonky. There;s probably some texture issues too, but sometimes it's so dark I don't personally notice.
  8. Oh please, yeah, that's not going to be psychologically damaging. Oh, it's what he wanted, but you still had to be the one to commit the act. You can't just waive it off like David from Shaun of the Dead. Otherwise you're being a terrible person by being so cold and calculating, ala 400 Days Later.
  9. Or, you know, But I can guarantee either option is/will have a negative emotional effect on the other person. There's no escaping some lingering thought of what has happened in the past where essentially, and hypothetically, your
  10. There are the objective markers, but I'm pretty sure I saw the Bat Signal. I'll check when I play again, but in the beginning I remember looking around the buildings, testing out the controls and looking right at it in the night's sky.
  11. Well, if you picked the option to let that happen, but to me I think it's one of those things that will remain in Season 1. We've already been through that, even if Clem hasn't forgotten.
  12. Not much to it, other than you-know-who totally, probably, likely, and most certainly will be the main character.
  13. I know we have this for another thread, but we've slightly brought up inconsistances pertaining to Origins. Something that stuck out to be was... the Bat Signal. If the GCPD isn't playing nice with the Batman, why do they have his emblem shining in the sky?
  14. Oh yes, I forgot to mention how borked the upgrade system is now. At first you think it's the style this studio went for, you know, trying to do something unique so as not to have Origins be a mere rehash. Except it looks half-assed and you're restricted when compared to the previous games. As far as knife wielding enemies, I sorta got the hang of it in Arkham City, but when I was dealing with a large group, I always evaded. Considering last night's failed crime in progress heavily featured knife baddies, I think I'll just stick to evading and stunning them.
  15. I've begun playing Origins and my only complaint is that sometimes, in large groups of enemies, the game begins to "shit the bed," a.k.a. slowdown and/or stutter. I've been excellent at the last two games, but when the game can't keep up, I can't have a proper flow. So I "fail" the crime in progress. Pfft, next one I did I got 50x. I rarely ever go for the Ground Takedown, or whatever it's called. It leaves you too vulnerable when enemies can run up to you fast enough. Sometimes you can get in that counter right away, but it's better to just hop around and cycle through your targets.
  16. Hey, Pokemon X/Y 1.1 update is out. It's simple and there isn't any "channel" download like on the Wii.

I can't think of anything that needs immediate fixing besides the error in saving in the main city where your save could get locked up.

Did they patch out that key ring pokemon?????

  17. Hatched my first Squirtle. I could just give him away to the only three people with Pokemon X/Y on my list, but I know there's more of you out there.
  18. That feeling of taking your starter Pokemon off your team. Delphox, you did your job, but I need to move on.

So help me gods if FDS starts another "second party" debate about using "the feeling of" instead of "that feeling when" I will scream.

  19. Gonna throw up two videos because I just saw this first one. Then of course, last night was asdfmovie7 which features Sam "CatBug" Lavagnino.
  20. I need to get back into Ace Attorney... I'm ashamed that I haven't played any of the recent games, and so how could I still be considered a fan?!
  21. Pokemon Trade Roulette essentially. You put up any Pokemon to be traded with a random player looking to trade the Pokemon of choice. There are some really generous people out there giving out starters and some difficult to find Pokemon.
  22. Wonder Trade has to be the best new feature to Pokemon. Some people are really generous and I've gotten the whole 1st Gen Starter trio. I traded the Bulbasaur though for someone's Zoroark. BTW, my Blastoise is female, so expect some Squirtles my friends.
  23. I'll put this here again; so anyway we have Greatness Exchange similar to the previous event where network users would spend their Gold trophies in an auction setting. Unless you were an obsessive gamer or hacker, you didn't have a chance of winning anything. That's why this time it's a sweepstakes. Sure, I think if someone puts in a couple hundred they'd have a better chance, but the more people, the less of a chance still. EDIT: On a side note, most of the stuff up for raffle are costumes from the commercial. There are four weapon props from the Elder Scrolls portion, and then there are two "experiences" where you go someplace, get something, blah blah. Last prize is a "Mystery Box." If nothing else catches your fancy, might not hurt putting your whole lot in there. If I had to guess, it's probably a PS4 bundle of sorts. It does end on the 15th, a.k.a. PS4 launch.
  24. There was always a corner that got crap signal strength, and without the need of plugging in devices, I got this little guy for $50. Honestly, if you need to improve any part of your wireless network in your home, get this range extender. I swear, it gives better coverage than the router itself.
  25. Nevermind, went ahead with a Google+ account to change that blasted account image from existence. Didn't add anyone or follow "interesting" things. I barely get on Facebook as it is already.
