  1. Yep, sounds like the gears, and it's fortunate that people are able to eject their game discs. That would have definitely been worse/frustrating.
  2. New Zelda 3DS XL is pretty sexy. Now I gotta see if I can sell my old 3DS.

  3. Realizing that the Xbox One is available to some people right now, I thought I'd take a look at some first impressions. "GRRRGGRRRKKKKKRRKKK........"
  4. Big day tomorrow! I think we all know what everyone is excited for: A Link Between Worlds and Super Mario 3D World! Personally, I'm getting the 3DS XL bundle.

If I didn't already own a 3DS XL I'd totally buy that bundle. Sexier than Taylor Swift.

I've already instructed my lady to pick me A Link Between Worlds for Christmas. I was really hoping A Link to the Past would be released on Wii U VC but... alas.... Nintendo sucks.

  5. Supposedly we're going to have a lot more of Lin in Book 3, so hopefully she's off her stupid pills and begins acting like the bamf we all grew to love in Book 1.
  6. Well, it's kinda funny because technically Old Man Winter is like Winter Blast, the ice Plasmid from BioShock 1 and 2. However, it's a "drinkable" Plasmid because Technically there was always an icon for it because it was suppose to be a Vigor in Infinite, just was never used. A fan on the 2K forums present a poster he made for the Vigor, which you can see in the DLC.
  7. I agree, partly. Having to dish this stuff out, I've also seen the people and products that benefit from "extended warranties." I swear, if you buy a printer, and a retailer will replace your printer should it come under one of the numerous bullet points listed, paying something like $36 for two years is worth it. I've helped out customers that had their printer crap out in a single month due to manufacturer's fault, so they came in and walked out with the same printer that very day. HP, or whoever, will want you to send in the thing so they can look at it, and who knows how that will go down and for how long the process. Then of course there have been times we received customers who were told by a company's customer service to come to us instead. On a console though W&S, you're good to stick with a manufacturer's warranty. If there really is a major issue, it's gonna be an issue that will rear its ugly head within that year. Any possible YLOD-like issue in the future will have its solutions, either by third party repair or just blowing another couple hundred on the Slim version. /flashback
  8. I played on Hard and it was actually hard compared to the difficulty in Infinite's main game. I lost half my money at times because there was always a gang of Splicers. I really enjoyed the Range Radar, though I didn't care for the new Plasmid (though I wanted to given its history). That final fight was different and I began goofing up, but seriously I kinda hated how there were enemies that could freeze/stun you in place. With how the combat works, you're pretty much dead if you stay still no matter the difficulty.
  9. The generally accepted (and best case scenario) is that...
  10. Eh, not sure how I feel. There were hints of what was going to happen, but the most suspicious of all was... I didn't like the feeling of everyone all of a sudden being a dick to me, even if I had been a dick before. Booker was right to feel, well...
  11. Well there was Studio Pierrot for the first half, which I technically didn't mind too much. However, there were moments where I felt it got sloppy, namely when there was action, but also after Beginnings I swear they were getting lazy with character details. As far as the actual ending, which will lead into Book 3, I like where it's going. I just didn't really prefer the events before it other than the small bits like Tenzin's spiritual growth and Team Avatar getting back together. The whole Lin thing baffles me and strikes me like the writers did put more thought into Harmonic Convergence. EDIT: Oh, but as far as Book 3 premiering, it'll be much faster than the time gap between 1 and 2. Don't just take my word for it.
  12. Oh people have realized it, especially since Korra herself told Tenzin as much. But hey, not all things are bad. We still have Pabu!
  13. Man, I don't know what to think. There are little moments that I loved... But the major stuff, I mean, it feels out of place. I dunno, it's pretty late and I'm sure I have a few more things, but that's what came to the surface for me.
  14. I haven't finished yet (watching all episodes on Nick.com), but dammit... The frickin' bandwagon was right, and it kinda pisses me off. Not because of "I was sorta wrong*," but because that really shouldn't have been the angle. It just seems so... in your face and blunt.
  15. If anyone saw the 1 hour special tonight, you can jump ahead and watch the season finale on Nick.com. There was some reblogging thing and it reached enough to where THAT one hour special is also online.

posted my thoughts in the thread.

I should get back into Korra and such.

  16. Don't forget to redeem your $10 PSN credit from the promotional pamphlet. Ya bastard...
  17. The only thing I know I'm going to be missing out on is Killzone. I'd love to play online with you guys, but by the time I do get a PS4, the game will probably be collecting dust on everyone's shelf.
  18. I remember this past summer I was excited for the device. After the Wii's Virtual Console, I've become a little hesitant to ever buy older games through what will eventually be an unused and closed system. Sure there's emulation, but I love building a collection and all you need are cartridges and old controllers laying around. Of course, you'd be wise to wait and see if the hardware stands up. The last RetroN had issues with audio for Genesis games, if I recall correctly.
  19. Stuck it out and finished the game tonight. Not really up to explaining everything, but like I was saying in one of my prior posts, it was a mix of excitement and frustration. Like, "Oh, I like where this is going... this doesn't handle well though." Or, "Cool! This is gonna be a big battle that... ugh, so I should probably ignore these guys again." My Super Review Score of Online Excellence: 6.8/10 (or 7/10 if you prefer). It's strange, but the postgame environment ran much better than when the story was happening. I went to a few places that normally gave me some stuttering, and it wasn't bad. Some areas ran smooth even...
  20. Some people don't deserve their PS4! But for real, if you've owned a PS3, I'm sure somewhere in the time frame of said ownership you've seen the warning "Do Not Turn Off or Unplug Console" during downloads and updates.
  21. Downloading the update onto a USB is probably the smartest thing you could do right now. You know both next-gen consoles are going to blow up their respective servers on launch day. Best to be prepared, and stuff. Maybe if I win this $500 GameStop gift card from Taco Bell, I could...
  22. Hey, guys... I know we're all getting wet over the PS4. Just, you know... Burial at Sea Episode 1 is out. Downloading it now in fact... (Also, the PSN logo has changed.)
  23. I saw a preview for it earlier today, and I definitely got that vibe from it. Thing is, I thought I wouldn't like Tangled at all for most of those reasons. I love that movie. So really, the only concern I would have is the "sisters" aspect of it.
  24. Oh great, Hot Heart! I see it elsewhere multiple times, and now I see it here! A MAN CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH PELVIC THRUSTING ON ROBOTS!
  25. Ever since Beginnings, But yes, everyone watching most certainly flipped out, physically and emotionally when we saw "you know." Be prepared for two episodes this week guys!
