  1. MaliciousH, I downloaded Malicious. In your malicious opinion, how malicious is Malicious?

Malicious is mal, in my malicious opinion even though I never maliciously touched it before.

  2. I have never been handed a ticket other than coming back to my car with a parking ticket because it was barely a foot in a "No Parking" zone. A few close calls, but I always get lucky. The most memorable for me was the residential speeding trap on the way to campus. One segment of this road was suppose to be reduced to 25 MPH while the rest was 35 MPH. It was a small segment, so it wasn't uncommon for vehicles to stay at 35 MPH. I was late, so I wasn't speeding the whole way other than that one part. Doesn't matter because that's where the cops would get you. So, myself and the car ahead of me were going faster than intended, and right behind me I saw flashing lights. I thought to myself, "Hey, you're bound to get a ticket sometime." I pulled over and... He passed me by and pulled over the car in front of me. As I sat there with a lucky break, a pedestrian who witnessed the scene turned to me and gave me a thumbs up.
  3. City I moved out of is receiving Google Fiber. Free 5 Mps service for seven years would have been nice during college.

  4. Thing is, I'll remember it for a long time. I actually did jump up a bit with how good it was.
  5. Truth be told, at least in the gaming community, it has become known that Handymen can be a bit "buggy." After all, the recommended strategy for getting the Heartbreaker achievement/trophy is an exploit involving the first Handyman you encounter.
  6. So I've come to a conclusion on why Handymen and that boss might spontaneously die. Enemies with AoE (Area of Effect) attacks have the potential to clip out of the playable area. When fighting the Vox Handyman, he probably threw himself off the platform as most of the area is surrounded by an abyss. That would also explain why I didn't find the Gear he dropped. As for the boss, looking back at the video, I saw a glimpse of it stuck at the corner of the wall leading to the Crank Gun. It's possible that it initiated its AoE attack, and thus clipped through the wall and dying. EDIT: As for the second fight.
  7. Whoa now, I got both those games, and while Transformed improved over its predecessor, it's still no Mario Kart. It's a strong competitor at least when compared to all the other kart racing games. As for the new Zelda connected to A Link to the Past... eh, I love Zelda to the point that it's my favorite series. That said, this does feel like a nostalgia grab. Then again, most of the handheld Zelda games have been "sequels" to a previous console release. Link's Awakening (at the time) to Link to the Past, Phantom Hourglass to Wind Waker, and then Spirit Tracks. Obviously there are the Oracle games and Minish Cap, but handheld games tend to be sequels/prequels. Now that can also mean that, as a handheld sequel, the story will either be an excuse to have new gameplay, or be there to be there.
  8. Second fight, I think it happened again, because after my ninth attempt, random completion. I'm not really complaining because the second fight is the worst one, whereas the third one is a breeze with a fully upgraded Undertow, fully upgraded Shock Jockey, and a fully upgraded Sniper Rifle. Well actually, the second one was only difficult because I wasn't going to buy any health packs. You only have one resources and it's the Dollar Bill vendor.
  9. I swear it was longer the first time I played. I was using more health packs and I even used the Crank Gun because I was running out of ammo. I'm looking up other videos and they all have the player defeating it after five or so minutes. Something happened, like when the Vox Handyman mysterious died for me too. I was running to the higher platform when I hear the guy self destructing. I'm wondering if enemies can clip out of stages and "die" because I looked all over for the Gear the Handyman was suppose to drop.
  10. That the boss is defeated when I don't do a thing. Last I played this boss on Hard Mode, I had to take out its health. Of course, is there something I'm missing? The last I see of it, I'm running out of the way of its AoE attack. I go down the stairs and I hear it scream out defeated. I honestly don't remember the first fight being timed to three minutes.
  11. My video, and possible glitch in question. In spoiler because it involves a boss battle.
  12. Currently uploading video of potential glitch in a certain ghostly battle in 1999 Mode.

  13. Oh definitely, but for me I wouldn't simply state the second point as fact for Booker. It's an interesting concept, but that's really it. It shouldn't necessarily be set in stone that he is defined by that lone observation. In fact, another theory is... I guess it doesn't bug me too much, but it's still speculation on the fan side of things.
  14. Two things Infinite related that have been bugging me:
  15. Actually guys, I think he means the scene right after you wake up from the collapse in the air vent. Now, if I remember correctly, the difference is...
  16. I'm with Heart and W&S; the introduction segment to Human Revolution heavily implied that you needed to shoot all incoming enemies. After all, you're in charge of security (holding a weapon no less) in a facility being swarmed by violent extremists. Nah, I'll just lurk behind boxes and desks the entire time. I remember discussions about the no kill achievement/trophy and if the introduction counted. Even veterans of Deus Ex thought it odd that such a scenario counted toward a stealth based campaign when those opening minutes were the exact opposite. Not to mention that not killing anyone in the beginning is highly impractical and tedious. It's as though, well, it was designed to teach you about the game as a shooter.
  17. Was about to head off to bed when I saw this article (from yesterday) about the mysterious audio found earlier. In short, I was right about it being purely for ambient background sound.
  18. Along with Mister Jack's clip, this lil' bit we have so far. EDIT: Turns out there was an ad during SNL tonight, which is similar to the above video only shorter, but also better quality. I almost watched SNL tonight, but my father and I are catching up on the latest season of Venture Bros each Saturday night.
  19. How much more is there to the actual art book of BioShock Infinite versus the Premium Edition's art book? If I remember correctly, you got that one from Amazon's warehouse, right?
  20. I think the time is coming where I will be frequenting this thread for advice. I imagine I can get a component each paycheck, and already my 22" 1080p HDTV acts as a monitor.

  22. Ocarina of Time is my all time favorite, but if you only have a Gameboy Advance, you could get the "A Link to the Past/Four Swords" game for cheap on eBay. At this point, the 3DS is turning into a good Zelda device. This summer we'll be getting the Oracle games, but you still have the other games that were released on the Virtual Console, including the Four Swords version of A Link to the Past. If you ever wanted Ocarina of Time, the 3DS remake is just as good. There is still talk of a possible Majora's Mask remake too. Heck, if you're lucky, maybe you could find a used Ambassador 3DS that has access to Minish Cap.
