  1. Oops, I never mentioned I got around to finishing Blood Dragon. The story itself doesn't take too long to get through, so I did my best to dork around the island. Maybe after Blade Wolf DLC, I'll do a bit more. Anyway, the last hour of the game was amazing! Gameplay, 80's music, and pixelated sassy times.
  2. All this jazz about half the cast of the Avengers being B-list material. If anything, I wish Disney would get the rights to Fantastic Four and have this series (with some cameos) redeem the complete ass of the Fantastic Four movies. However, all in all, we're going to be seeing C-list heroes, i.e. Batman Brave and the Bold. Maybe from time to time we get a neat cameo, or perhaps before a big budget film we get to see some of the new cast. Otherwise, I can't honestly tell how I'll like this until I actually see it.
  3. Glad it's fake... that kinda sucked.
  4. Kinda funny, and to be honest the "78% Good" trophy stat might not mean much when you consider a lot of people got the trophy for Bad as well. I mean, I most certainly did. I guess it means a little something if people, in their first and only choice, chose Good, then you might have a decently higher percentage over how many witnessed Bad. I did say it was funny though because it nerfs the ultimate choice at the end of Infamous 2. Oops, the RFI didn't quite do its job! However, all is forgiven if Cole makes a cameo. If we're going with an established imperfection, then we must have an imperfect sacrifice.
  5. I am a master Final Second Bidder. To play it safe, you don't put your max bid yet. What I love about eBay's system is that your max bid doesn't take effect until someone starts crawling up the bidding ladder thereby increasing your bid to out there's until it has reached the set max. Only have been bested once, though I was also running on my dumpy Vista operated laptop. It couldn't handle the amount of last minute bids constantly changing the price and froze. I kinda got a bit... "pissed off." I was trying to get a nice PSP 2000 for cheap, so why not try for a Limited Edition White Darth Vader PSP with Battlefront II?
  6. Sometimes my subscriptions liked some funky stuff.
  7. All I can think about is: Blad-a Woouf! I've never thought about the Japanese language and the letter "F." Woouf!

  8. Same for me, Dubya-N-S. I think the only reason why I don't gush over the first BioShock as much as others, much like for Uncharted, is because of how hyped up it was by the time I played it. Sure it mostly met those expectations, but they were expectations set up by others rather than myself.
  9. I'm not an expert or anything, but I imagine Link could fit his head into one of them. EDIT: Maybe two if he was desperate enough.

Looks way better than the Sam DLC

I'll agree there. I loved how Sam played, but there wasn't much to it.

  11. Didn't think I would get much in May, aside from Blood Dragon and DLCs. RE: Revelations though is a bit tempting. I thought I was done with Resident Evil, but if the 3DS original did good, maybe the revamped one won't be bad. Then there's Fuse, but I'll wait for reviews on that one.

  12. That cult classic, Eternal Darkness, is getting a sequel: Shadow of the Eternals. Maybe it's about time I try out that game.

I bought it several years ago and then never played it. :/

One of my favorite Gamecube games. Though I have no idea why Silicon Knights kept the lead guy on. He was apparently awful for them. Unless he has the rights to the thing.

  13. It's a guilty pleasure of mine, that song. It kinda pumped me up to grind away in the game, but at the same time it wasn't special. I guess Dark Arisen did away with the song, and if I had to guess, went with the original piece.
  14. What'd it win? BEING A BIG FAT PHONY!
  15. Hmm, this is kinda a tough one for me. Usually I'm already invested in a game because I've been keeping track of it in gaming media. I guess I would say Borderlands 2, Mass Effect 2, and BioShock Infinite off the top of my head. Maybe even Asura's Wrath, though I knew I was going to be getting into some crazy stuff, so flying through space exploding gigantic red beasts of evil wasn't as thrilling as it could have been to me. As for a more personal game opening: Pokemon. See, I was 10. I was getting better at video games, but some things still flew over my head in terms of game design. For the first 20 minutes of Pokemon, I could not figure out how to leave the house. I eventually handed it over to my father who, by chance, left the house. I immediately interrogated him to where he said he did something around what looked like a carpet. I could also tell you about when I finally learned what Bill's PC did, you know, after having a team of Blastoise, Raticate, Pidgeotto, Nidorino, Nidorina, and Raichu.
  16. Faker than Charles McFakerton Jr. faking a heart attack in court during his testimony for accusations of fraud and theft.
  17. P4, or other possible members, how would I go about finding the specific shipping cost for packages for eBay purposes? I just learned today about "non-machinable" charges, i.e. the square envelopes I bought today.

US Postal service site should have the charges listed.

  18. Mmm, gonna get back to that Blood Dragon since Tuesday. I missed it so much I remade my name badge at work with a Blood Dragon on it.

I bought FC3 like a week after release and still haven't touched it. I should probably do something about that.

I'm not that big of a FPS fan, though if the game does something special, then I take a crack at it. Point is, Far Cry 3 is pretty good. Blood Dragon is a more streamline version of the game filled with 80's camp and humorous dialogue.

  19. I got Poker Night 2 for PS3 yesterday, and given all the freezing and glitches I've encountered, I'm holding off for a bit until the eventual patch. I got the infamous "deal hand" glitch, a.k.a. A/X does nothing.

  20. Good day on PSN. Work was cray-cray, as were the people, so I would like to shoot neon dinosaurs.

  21. I actually spent a whole hour deciding whether to get a 8GB Wii U for $280 w/ Nintendo Land or a PS Vita (Wi-Fi) plus 4GB memory card. Turns out someone got that lone AC bundle, so I was really at odds. In the end, I got a $20 PSN card for Blood Dragon tomorrow, while I'm considering options.

I'm with Goh, here. Both libraries are pretty weak and limited right now. Best to wait and see how things turn out.

I was considering the Vita because there are a few games, plus PS+, that make it worth my interest in the coming months. Thing is, without that one bundle, I was stuck with the "buy overpriced proprietary memory card" dilemma.

I strongly disagree that the Vita library is weak. STRONGLY!

  22. Honestly, I want this to be a great film. It has great potential, but at the same time it bugs me. It seems like the reason there has to be two pilots is because you need one for each arm given the controls for one arm take up a pilot's torso. It just seems like an unnecessary step to make this giant mech movie different from other giant mech movies/shows.
  23. I need to get back into Knife of Dunwall, what with Blood Dragon coming out this week. Just like the main game, I've probably sunk an hour in, but made it only 20 minutes worth of the story because of having to re-learn the game and fixing my screw ups.
  24. I subscribed. Those two have made me laugh enough to warrant it.
