  1. That's not slutty at all. Not surprising any of you are saying this considering how chauvinistic this show leans.
  2. You call that sluttiness? What a great person you are.
  3. Yeah, but that's Google's choice. They want their search to be fairly agnostic (with ads) so everyone uses it. Why can't Apple do what they want with their own technology? It's not like they're locking out Google.
  4. Everyone having access to transportation isn't a good metric? Do you really lack the ability to see other perspectives to such a large degree? If a country has a lack of public transportation, and a lack of private transportation, then their standard of living is low. What is so hard to understand about that? Cars also don't indicate a good standard of living. Some countries just can't handle a car for every citizen. It'd be insanity.
  5. Well this is the most ignorant thing I've read all day. Not really, which do you prefer, to ride on a bus or to drive your own car? There's tons of areas in Texas with no public transportation. That doesn't mean everyone is broke. Most of those rural areas people have lots of land and nice trucks. Yes, because your life is everyone else's life in the world.
  6. Why not? They can do what they wish. It's not an open platform.
  7. Well this is the most ignorant thing I've read all day.
  8. http://articles.cnn.com/2011-12-01/tech/tech_mobile_abortion-clinic-siri-iphone_1_siri-abortion-clinics-abortion-questions?_s=PM:TECH We already know Siri isn't blindly using Google. It gives a very specific answer rather than a ten at once.
  9. Yeah, I'm sure living in Sweden is just terrible. Also, standard of living isn't that subjective. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_of_living "The standard of living includes factors such as income, quality and availability of employment, class disparity, poverty rate, quality and affordability of housing, hours of work required to purchase necessities, gross domestic product, inflation rate, number of vacation days per year, affordable (or free) access to quality healthcare, quality and availability of education, life expectancy, incidence of disease, cost of goods and services, infrastructure, national economic growth, economic and political stability, political and religious freedom, environmental quality, climate and safety."
  10. I have no sympathy for Cersei for the reason I mentioned on the last page.
  11. ...but you just described what all of the major studios do.
  12. Search google for "what is the best search engine" and the first result is a top 10 list of search engines. It does not say "Ummm... Google is lol!" Google could do pretty much whatever they wanted with that search term, see "do a barrel roll" or "tilt" or "slant" or "zerg rush". But instead of going for a cheap gag, they produce relevant, useful, unbiased info. While it may not be a monopoly issue, it's still not cool. Doesn't Siri provide a single answer though, and not ten results at once? Siri isn't a search engine per se.
  13. Gee, you mean that while using the iPhone, it tells me the iPhone is the best? What an outrage.
  14. *Insert the GW Bush "thanks for blaming the black guy" pic*
  15. And people think I'm crazy when I point out that the British in the 1700s didn't have British accents. It was closer to how most Americans speak now. This transformation happened after the US Revolution (or whatever you call it across the pond.)
  16. Did you just call yourself a cunt?
  17. Newbs with newbs. Level cap. Makes sense. Just like the beta.
  18. ^I don't think he saw the Kickstarter about buying Kickstarter.
  19. Oh really? I always thought that WinFS was supposed to be a complete improvement: Faster, more efficient, easier, etc. But yeah, it's been years since I've read about it.
  20. ^Is that anywhere near what WinFS was supposed to do? Wasn't WinFS supposed to be revolutionary as fuck?
  21. The details pane can be resized. Why do you need to see the size of your recycle bin, anyways? I know some Linux users will say that a recycle bin is unnecessary and you should just get better at deleting. Personally I only use that pane for MP3 tags. I could add it as a column but that doesn't show all of the info at once unless I use a fuckhuge window. Who knows how people will react. In retrospect, Vista's problem wasn't its UI or anything, it was crap like UAC. Win 8 just needs a tutorial on launch or something to explain hot corners and metro= start menu. I've used tons of apps that tell me about new features upon booting up. It wouldn't kill MS to include the same.
  22. >2012 >still using blackberry If it was anything like the Android version they added basically everything people wanted (that was reasonable) within the first month and then sort of stopped with updates.
