    I think it looks highly stylized, which The Witcher 2 is a lot of the times, art wise. It kind of sucks that they tossed out some of those effects for the 360 version to make it run well. It looks more "real", sure, but I prefer a unique style.

    I thought the AVWW beta was interesting but not very gripping. Plenty of stuff to do but I felt like I didn't have enough reason to do it. Care to give some quick early thoughts? Anyways I'm playing through Botanicula and it's great. Also playing Red Faction: Guerilla which isn't so great.

    The CryEngine updates look like they're all about DX11 so I can't imagine the console versions adopting those changes.

    I finally beat The Witcher 2. Man, how sparse was Act III before the EE content? Anyways, phenomenal title, and I'll play through it again once I update my graphics card.

    I picked up the latest humble indie bundle. Botanicula had me smiling in public. A lot easier than Machinarium puzzle wise but still very enjoyable so far.

    Considering it reflects that dudes letter perfectly and has company in-jokes and matches up with everything else anyone has ever said about Valve I don't know why people doubted it. It's far too polished and expansive to be fake, really.

    Terrorist or freedom fighter, it's just a matter of which side you're on. Geralt himself says as much himself. Anyways I went with Iorveth because he just seemed so much more interesting than Roche, who was just doing his job.

    I just re-downloaded the entire game using the GoG Downloader and it went fine. The updater just kept failing. That's what I'm doing now yeah. Had to send in a picture of my Witcher 2 2.0 version as it doesn't come with any codes. Still annoying. Seems there's still quite a few problems with the Enhanced Edition anyway when you actually get the damn thing running. Like what? I know people have had borked installs on Steam and stuff. I finished act 2 and now I'm in act 3 with no problems. Runs the same. Waldorf: That's what's great about this series. It's grey. There is no right or wrong answer. I plan on going back and doing a Roche playthrough.

    Rockstar has pretty big time lapses between titles at time. Red Dead Redemption came out how long ago now? Anyways yeah, GTA4 sort of came out of nowhere, had one initial trailer then barely any news, then they started the full on marketing push after. I do believe that all happened in under a year.

    Why don't you think it will come out this year? It's been in development for ages and there's still plenty of time to do a marketing push and release multiple trailers before the end of the year.
