It is? Did BKV get too famous or something?

I have it on my work laptop. Mine runs better than Windows 7 even in terms of stabiity. Obviously I have much less installed and Windows 7 is pretty stable as it is. I'm the same way. Nothing in Metro makes me want to use it.

I'm an Apex user and I can't say that these two are all that different once you get to the pay level. (Back before I bought either I thought Apex had the way better free feature set.) Now that I own both if one of them quits developing it I'll just stick with the other. I'm trying to find speed dfiferences and it seems Apex is slightly faster. They're both more customizable in different ways. Either way, recommended if you're on ICS and higher.

I don't see why you wouldn't be. That's what I read, too. Never got into the more Superhero-y stuff all that much besides having a New Avengers phase.

What are you listening to now?

http://caspiantheban...m/waking-season The new Caspian is excellent. I think I've put in about 10 listens so far. -
Logitech's own software isn't detecting it? It should detect your exact model. Try updating SetPoint.

Whoa, didn't know about the Eclipse, that's actually some pretty rockin' specs.

http://empireempire.bandcamp.com/album/what-it-takes-to-move-forward Some pretty solid post-emo/midwest emo. Not exactly innovative but this is good. All of their Bandcamp stuff is free at the moment (I would assume until they hit the 250 a week limit and I doubt they will.) I've linked to one of their full albums that's pretty great since they have a million splits. -
I've never heard anyone use it. Seems like an outdated term.

/everyinternetargumentever But seriously, that's why I try to refrain from quoteathons these days. This forum already goes off-track easily enough as it is, when we build quote skyscrapers I feel like the arguments become exponentially more pedantic and off-topic. Oh and hey, look at me, being off-topic. Something about Fiji's vs. Red Delicious.

IIRC Motorola just released one that has the specs of the RAZR.

I am way too hungover to read through this.

See, I knew we were thinking the same thing. That's why I called it a stretch.

@ 111 No, I meant can. Do you think that iOS users can only talk to people on iOS? The whole issue is that emojis and group texts look fucked up when sending them to other people. Anyways, triviality or not, it's still something to talk about and it does represent Apple's stance on a lot of things. Like I keep saying, the issue isn't iOS users using it, it's when they use it on things that aren't iOS as in when they text their friend who isn't on a compatible platform. So this is about making it compatible for everyone rather than just telling iOS they can't have it. They should have it. Everyone should have it. It's motherfuckin' SMS man. Anyways, Dean is getting at my point in much better words: Couldn't agree more. Yeah, I brought up ages ago about how the newest standard, whenever it was coming out (apparently it's now) would be usable by everyone. I have no idea how we got here at this point other than the general convo we were having about Apple not giving any fucks about universality.

So we both assume Ethan said different things. Whose to say either of us is right but Ethan? I think it's a stretch because I think the only people who are going to care in the first place are linguists. They're not so much "Briticisms" as they are just colloqualisms that take time to travel. It hasn't been that long since British English and American English diverged and it's not like words can never travel. This stuff seems a lot less uniquely British than the usage of words that differ in meaning (torch vs torch.)

Actually, Jelly Bean has it, but I have no idea if it's compatible. Thanks for making this about Apple vs. Android, tard. This is making it work for everyone. Windows Phone, Blackberry, Boot2Gecko, Symbian, etc. If you get the cellphone companies to agree on this (which isn't going to happen because they don't even agree on it in the country emojis originate from) then everyone wins. The issue is that iOS users can communicate with non-iOS users. This causes issues with things like emojis and group texts. There's even the twitter example. I don't know why you're saying that I want it held back. Then again, you also seem to think this is an Android vs. iOS issue so you're not exactly viewing this clearly. I just want somethign adopted that doesn't restrict anything for anyone. When you communicate between devices I think this is important. As for stuff that never leaves the phone? Entirely different story.

Calling a lot of that Briticisms in the first place. Ethan seems to have thought the same thing.

What about: -Buying to sell secondhand at a profit

This seems like quite the stretch.

But it actually is something that could be a standard. You send text messages between phones. I also think it's annoying that Outlook has so much "Outlook" stuff. Though that's because I think Outlook is a piece of shit in general whereas I can actually think of reasons to use an iPhone. I just don't get your attitude. Why wouldn't you want something to be universally adopted? Why did Apple go with Softbank instead of something else to begin with? There are two other emoji variants they could have used. I think it's scary as fuck that people are so casually brushing this off as not a problem. Unite people. Don't divide them. Adding emoji support to Android is not that simple FYI. Your carrier has to support it to begin with. Mine doesn't. Oh and apparently Apple is doing their own emoji now and not even using Sofbank. Da fuq. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoji#Apple_Encoding Emojis are more complex than that. You're talking about emoticons and how something can interpret them.
-
I remmber reading that SoftBank emojis weren't even the most used in Japan, they were in 3rd place. It's really something that should be standarized or else you create

https://play.google.com/store/apps/collection/promotion_celebrate_25_billion Just take all of the shit off the end. FYI Tasks is awesome and I like it more than the one that's ICS and up only.
