  1. This is going in circles. Let's sum up 1) You're acting like an entitled gamer 2) You don't deserve special treatment 3) This is a small American studio that will do things their way 4) Apparently Steam stuff regularly gets released at 11am PST anyways and not Midnight (guess we'll see in about 45 minutes) 5) You shouldn't care so much about what time of day it gets released because you'll be able to play it whenever you want for the rest of your life
  2. Like what? You're kidding yourself if you think the competition is any more secure.
  3. Sure they're not special for large studios who can afford to pay someone to be up at midnight or who simply don't care about any issues until the morning. You have to keep in mind that they haven't even stated a solid time when it will happen and the Steam date is tentative. They aren't holding it back to fuck you over like you seem to think. Though with your deplorable attitude I wish they would do it just to spite you and teach you to quit being a typical entitled gamer. Why should they change their work schedule for you? Again, what makes you so special? Anyways, I'm sure you know much more about their reasons to pick any certain time to release their game more than them. Stupid developers. What do they know about their own title.
  4. You'll be able to play it at whatever time you want after it's released. Also, who said anything about not giving a shit about other countries? My issue is you thinking that you deserve some sort of special treatment. Also, if they launched at 7, that means being in the offices before 7, and they likely just don't want to fuck with their work day too much. They're not exactly a large studio.
  5. Why should EU get it first when it's not a EU made game? Why wouldn't they want to be awake to give support to the region the game was developed in?
  6. I don't see the logic in assuming that so many players from NA will be on at 11am-2pm that it will crash the servers. Obviously, we'll wait and see, but I really don't think it's ridiculous to release a game when you're actually at your offices.
  7. Runic is a Seattle based company so it makes sense that they will launch the game just before noon when their staff can handle technical support and deal with any issues that come up. Most people game in the evening so at first they will deal with peak EU hours and then later in the day they'd get hit with all of the NA users. I don't see what's wrong with wanting to be awake for your own games launch. Especially one that has a MP mode.
  8. Dean you sure do get worked up over stupid shit. Which is kind of funny because you point out a good reason as to why it would unlock in the morning for the states but still seem to be pissed. Anyways, yeah, it's been pre-loaded for days (with incremental updates.) It'll get released when it gets released.
  9. http://ymditd.bandcamp.com/album/international-waters This might just be best post-rock album of the year. Caspian's is streaming now and I'll give it time to grow... but this album has really gotten to me. Gifts From Enola might top it though.
  10. "Bioware" isn't really going from one studio to 7 though. It's just other studios being *renamed* Bioware. EA2D being an example off the top of my head.
  11. Awesome. I don't have any of those games except for TL.
  12. I bought some Rosewill USB stick ages ago for like $9 or something and it's always worked great whenever I needed to use it.
  13. I beat the Hard Reset (non EE) campaign. Well... considering how smoothly it moves into the DLC it's quite obvious they just didn't finish the game. The EE is free though so no complaints. Just a new dev getting their foot in.
  14. You should be worried when I'm being nice.

  16. Someone's never used an emulator. We already have this.
  17. It's pretty ridiculous. We wouldn't have Bayonetta 2 at all without Nintendo.
  18. ^That site did not even begin to fuck around with letting me in. I'm impressed that they put up such a comprehensive message about it. Anyways, low end scotch and bourbon can be REALLY bad, especially scotch. If I'm going cheap I'll just get a Canadian blend since it doesn't have the bite but still at least tastes like whiskey. In America at least, neither Glenfiddich or Macallan are cheap, at all. They're more expensive than mid-tier bourbons like Maker's Mark. I've had both of those, and they're miles ahead of Clan McGregor and other terrible low-end scotches I've had. Years ago I drank my whiskey with water. With cheap canadian shit I still do. I think it enhances the smell (and the flavor to a degree because of it.) Never was really okay with ice. I also don't like my beer ice old like most Americans. When I drink scotch and (at least decent) bourbon I drink it straight.
