  1. Yeah I read it. A pity I was less active during that time. I'd have enjoyed taking him to task over his assessment of a certain publishers financial outlook. But yes, Ocarina of Time. Enjoyed it, but also blame it for being too good and as such being mimicked by most console Zelda's since. Majora's Mask was the peak imho.
  2. Me on holiday in Thailand (camera right)
  3. Yeah. DK. That's the one. I think I can get on with most people in the world. Certainly everyone on the forum these days, but that guy... (and a couple of other departed members) was impossible.
  4. Ahhh, he sort of reminds me of that guy who was around in the Kotakuites days who declared himself master of all things logical (logical in his case being code for acting like a monumental ass).
  5. I thought it was a question at first. R u girlfriend?
  6. I've said it before and I'll say it again, everyone who voted for First Past The Post instead of Proportional Representation is to blame. And what was it that everyone was boo-hooing about with PR? "Oh nooooo! It will lead to hung parliaments and coalitions!" Lucky we dodged that bullet then hey you bumbling nincompoops.
  7. The palpable sense of relief upon opening a door that leads to somewhere I recognise as being near a save point is beautiful.
  8. Especially in Bloodborne, where the stat boost is (relatively) marginal, and less likely to determine your chances of success.
  9. Gun-Stunnable? She's next on my list and I'm a top-hat and cane kinda gal. I picked up the Saw Spear somewhere. But I don't like using it. It disrupts the fashionborne look. The only downside of threaded cane for me is lack of charge attack in whip mode.
  10. Platinumed Danganronpa 2. Screw you rng item drop trophy bastards.
  11. Yeah, really. I use bullets to stagger enemies, but my timing is a bit off so I'll easily burn through 5 against a big scary or few. That means I can fight ~4 of them per life. I'm currently on a bit of a farming kick having finally and gotten the knack of taking down bag men for twin stone shards. After that I might farm for quicksilver bullets for a bit.
  12. Haha, when I knew how good this is going to look.
  13. http://starwars.ea.com/starwars/battlefront 4 hours.
  14. I have blood vials coming out of my ears. To the point where I filled the storage chest as well as my inventory. Quicksilver bullets however. Those are a pain to farm. Giving me 20 of them every time I wake would be much appreciated.
  15. Cheers Hotty! Arkham and Uncharted for me.
  16. Set your watches. 10:00 PT, 18:00 BST. StarWars Battlefront. Get. Some. Damn. Hype!

Also, I don't understand what people were expecting from Battlefront if this is viewed as disappointing. It's basically the same as the old Battlefront games, but upgraded to new game standards.

I'm not disappointed yet. I am just waiting for the inevitable cancellation, which will complete the cancellation trilogy.

  17. Done. Also, didn't realise that it was that "stream of conciousness" arse clown Tim Rogers. Still a good article.
  18. This article makes the Castlevania comparison really well.
  19. You often find that a term gets picked up by a couple of people and then explodes. One annoying recent one for me was (for obvious reasons): Netcode. As in "Fix the netcode DICE." By which people often meant, "I have latency issues when playing against West Coast Americans from the UK, please fix the laws of physics."
  20. Yeah, there is a fair bit of that to it. Obvioulsy you don't get new ways of traversing, But there is that feeling of unlocking new areas and connecting them to old ones with shortcuts.
