  1. Either you don't own any other systems or you're the king Nintendo fanboy around here (sorry smooves). I own a PS3/360/Wii and a PSP/DS. I just haven't beat many other games for other systems; outside of Legends of Wrestlemania and Pinball Hall of Fame (both are on my PS3.)
  2. I do the same thing but substitute Payless for Walmart. Sadly, they discontinued the pair I would buy and I still have a Payless GC. :-(
  3. Awesome! I just beat this last night and I know I'll be back to play this again. :-) I hope you enjoy it! Uhh, they do sell video games at Sears. ;-) The card might also work at K-Mart but I can't guarantee that.
  4. For my birthday my fiancee bought me Season 1 of Dexter's Laboratory. For Christmas my sister got me Season 1 of Doug. These shows I must complete on DVD! (except for their later incarnations that were horrid)
  5. Carrying this over from the old board. We'll have to start a new one in a few weeks once people start beating games in 2011 but let's get in our final count for the year. Sonic Advance Retro Game Challenge Pokemon Heart Gold Zelda: Minish Cap Zelda: Spirit Tracks Metroid Other M Super Mario Galaxy 2 Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection Metroid Fusion Glory of Heracles WWE Legends of Wrestlemania Izuna Legend of the Unemployed Ninja. Professor Layton and the Curious Village Professor Layton and the Unwound Future and as of about 10 minutes ago ... Epic Mickey (which was pretty epic actually, bad camera angles and all) I have a lot of games to tackle now, not the least of which being some DS games (I think Magical Starsign will get Magically shelved for a while.) but for consoles I have a LOT of choices at the moment.
  6. You know what's funny is that the cheap $9 trousers from Wal*Mart fit me better than expensive ($30) trousers.
  7. YUM! I ate that yesterday with the fiancee. We split a chicken burrito with rice and cheese.
  8. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Men-s-Captain-America-Hoodie/14690959 Ten dollars? Just TEN FUCKING DOLLARS for a hoodie? With a print? Clothes are so goddamn cheap in the US... A printed t-shirt would run you at least 20 euro's around here. Yeah well a woman I used to work with had friends from Scotland come over to visit her a few years ago. They literally came with empty suitcases (or they bought one at the Salvation Army/Goodwill or whatever) and went on a shopping spree at Wal*Mart, Target, JCPenny etc. and came home with a full wardrobe. Supposedly that saved them so much money it helped justify the trip. America: Land of cheap clothing and food.
  9. At least you have the nice Phalzcraft dishes ...
  10. I just (about five minutes ago) ate some Ritz Crackers with cream cheese.
  11. Your boyfriend is either a smart cookie or you gave him good hints. I'm probably going to be shitting that after all I've eaten today. o___O Anyway, I got a lot of great gifts from family and friends. Some highlights include: a TomTom (it included a code to get a celebrity voice. Any ideas?) The next set in the Complete Peanuts collection The Wizard of Oz on Blu-Ray (cue the gay jokes) The Black Cauldron (the DVD, not the Sierra game for the Apple ][) The Pac-Man Moleskine Super Paper Mario Mario All-Stars Collection (I also gave this to my sister and she loved it) A. Lincoln by Ronald C. White The complete Wanted Dead or Alive (Steve McQueen) Enough cash to buy a rug for our living room Doug Season 1 (It was VERY expensive!)
  12. My fiancee's grandparents gave us each $50. US Grant has been deposited in the bank. How fun. ;-) I get my first batch of gifts tonight. I'm more excited about giving my gifts than getting anything. Seriously. :-)
  13. Yeah, not worth my throat closing up on me. ;-)
  14. The fiancee really REALLY wants a Scottish Fold. I'm very allergic and won't give in.
  15. Saw them in concert earlier this year. They rocked! (they're also on the GTA4 soundtrack)
  16. It's not a Christmas special per se but it is one that is forever etched in my mind and will also be.

You could just move. ;-) Seriously, I know what you mean. My fiancee was 50+ miles away when we started dating so I saw her like once a week.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pT9t5nkZn8I Also, Patty Smyth was HOT when she was young.
  19. I remember in business school we studied the Pepsi Challenge and Coke's various marketing tests afterwards. In blind taste tests people preferred Pepsi (No brainer as it's sweeter) and In side by side markets they bought Pepsi more. Coke's answer was New Coke and we all know how that went ... So, the next thing was the huge media campaigns of the 90s. It took until later on when they realized the key to success in the softdrink market was to: 1) Get in the most markets (restaurants, amusement parks, stadiums etc.) 2) Have the most sales as they discovered that most people buy whatever is on sale.
  20. Western Massachusetts is the biggest paradox in the universe. Never have people been so Liberal to the point of being Communists and yet they can be extremely Conservative at times. Me, I'm a Republican and a Yankee fan so I'm an outcast in Massachusetts living in exile in New York where I'm only half shunned.
  21. When I go into a Dollar store (They are called Dollar Tree around us) I go in and pick out what I want. I wait quietly in line. I pay in cash and say "thank you" and at this time of year "Merry Christmas." I always wondered why that was so difficult for 99% of the population. WELL, obviously what we have here is a RAPIST on T A Y!
  22. I liked No Doubt's cover of this but the original was so much better. Also this is obligatory:
  23. i live in massachusetts and it was my understanding that the law is no longer statewide? i can buy alcohol all over the place in worcester and franklin counties on sundays. Hmm, over in the Berkshires the liquor stores are all closed. Of course, I don't buy/drink alcohol so I could be mistaken.
