  1. Apparently due to the leveling system stealth assassinations won't always actually kill your enemy. I don't want to prejudge, but that sounds game-ruining to me.
  2. Thanks @Mr. GOH!, that perfectly answers my question. Also, the game has already been delayed from Spring 2018 to Fall 2018.
  3. Did they say it's going to be multiplayer? Because that's what everyone's assuming but I haven't been able to figure out why.
  4. I basically agree with Jack. I do want to add that to me A Way Out looked cool, but coop-only is almost a dealbreaker for me. I don't want to have to coordinate with other people to play my game's campaign, and I don't want to have to rely on randos from the internet for what appears to be a heavily story-based game like that. I love it when games offer coop, but I don't want them to require it.
  5. I just finished the final showcase event in Forza Horizon 3, which marks the end of the campaign, such as it is, so I guess that means I've beat it. I'm still only at like 35% overall completion though, so there's a lot more left for me to do.
  6. @FLD And I'm only liking the part of yours directed at me. As someone who played Wonderful 101 because of all the good things I heard, I can honestly say I have no idea why everyone liked it so much. It wasn't outright bad, but it certainly wasn't anything special.
  7. I would include among Bioware's questionable games DA2, ME3, DAI (even though I really liked it), and ME:A. But I still would take them over Platinum just because I've never really liked any of Platinum's games.
  8. Horizon: Zero Dawn got a price drop to $40, and also Amazon is now back to allowing users to sell used copies of Playstation 1st party games, so I bit.
  9. Back from vacation. :(

Yeah people from Seattle have much more in common culturally with the people from Vancouver than they do with Texas.

I was largely making a joke, well aware that geographically a trip from Kansas to NC is equivalent of myself to like Greece. Culturually though I think we'd agree one of those is a long bigger distance :P. And a "break" for me would be like going to Blackpool or London (in own country). If I can go somewhere and it's still Walls ice cream I've not gone far enough.

A vacation is anytime you're getting paid time off work. But a vacation can also be visiting an area that's not at home. Then there's the staycation and that's for people too poor to travel. Holiday's are official days off work from the government like Christmas, Boxing Day, Good Friday, and of course, Victoria Day. So for instance say you were going to Boise Idaho for Christmas, as one does, then that'd be a vacation in your holidays. Then there's summer vacations, which is when goddamn lazy fucking youths get the whole summer off of school, so in that case, say you go to Edmonton for Canada Day on July 1st, you'd be on a vacation, during a holiday, while on summer vacation. A break is something you take at work, usually 15 minutes or an hour for lunch. Glad I could clear this up for everyone.

  10. Yeah, this game should be like American Horror Story, with seasons that are largely unrelated except for perhaps tiny little nods that you won't even notice unless you played the other ones.
  11. That is the one game that makes me actually want a VR headset.
  12. That is a terrible idea...
  13. Not actually a game itself, but it's for games so I'm counting it: a 512GB SSD. I'm sick of waiting on load screens, and stutters when games stream in new assets (especially irritating in Forza, which is what pushed me over the edge). It was on sale on Newegg for Memorial Day.
  14. Didn't they say Retro is working on a new IP? Or did I make that up?
  15. If I ever have a band I'm naming it Inbumblious.
  16. That's actually out of date, intelligence sharing has already resumed. But yeah, our government's a mess right now.
  17. Our local NPR station always does string quartet covers of pop songs for their transition music. I love picking out stuff like Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.
  18. Only one light. All but the smallest, cheapest ones have them. Or so I thought. Looking at vacuums on Amazon it looks like it's about 50/50. Weird, because every vacuum I've ever bought or used has had one and it's not like I've ever specifically looked for that feature. *Edit - But anyway, this has gotten blown way out of proportion. The point of my original tweet was not that vacuums need lights, it was that if they are going to have lights those lights should be bright enough to actually illuminate things, which none of them ever are.
  19. I would like the other joycons better if they were black to match the Switch itself, but that grey just is not appealing to me.
  20. I also like the colored one better.
  21. It's completely standard! I have literally never used a push-vacuum that didn't have one!
  22. An 8k monitor seems pointless for anything other than like feature film editing work, and mostly pointless for that too since most movies aren't even filmed at that high of resolution. *Edit - I guess you could watch 4 4k sources at once without losing any quality?
  23. The book thing just made me cringe, but @deanbmmv's joke is one of those things I laugh at and then feel bad for laughing at it.
