Maybe I've gauged it wrong. If Enslaved is generally viewed as a terrible game then I would agree it's underrated. It was a fun game, I enjoyed my time with it, played it to completion and certainly don't regret doing so.
Yeah, they said that MK8 sold like 2.4 million units, but that nearly all of those were to existing WiiU owners. IIRC WiiU sales nearly quadrupled, but it still wasn't very high in absolute numbers.
Feel free, I post clips from my games all the time. Members are perfectly welcome to post their stuff, the only thing we ask is that your account here not be primarily a promotional account for your channel
You realize that the RetroN doesn't actually play the game from the cart right? When you stick the cart in it rips a rom from it and you play the rom from the console's onboard memory, using an emulator. As long as you own the cart for the game you're playing the only difference is that the specific rom wasn't ripped from your specific cart.
Cabs may not be the absolute best ones but they're abundant so you can just grab a random one whenever you want to race, and I never came even remotely close to losing a race with them.
The regular car races on the ground are super easy if you just get a cab. Most of the "fast" cars have super spastic handling, but the cab is very manageable.
Doesn't help with the one off special races though.
The video from DF was from the first area after the prologue, and it was dropping frames all over the place. There were a lot of people in the comments mentioning it, and how it didn't jive with DF's description of dropped frames being few and far between.
I watched a 60 fps video Digital Foundry made, and it seemed like it was dropping frames quite often. Like, it never really got below the mid-50's, but it was enough to seem stuttery.
