Season 2 isn't as awesome as season 1, but it's still great, and definitely worth playing.

Hyrule Warriors is developed by the Dynasty Warriors people, that's why it's a different aesthetic. It's not really Zelda proper.

Well according to the creators what's really going on is that Korra's numbers have always been way better streaming than they have on TV, so they're just moving it over to where its strength is. They're still doing season 4 too.

The DLC wasn't rubbish, it was better than the main game.

IIRC, from what I've heard they're supposed to be part massive expansions, like one a year for the next three years or something (don't quote me on that, I just vaguely recall hearing something like that).

I agree with the feeling that I'm missing out on something. And I didn't mean that F2P is an irreversible turn-off, but it's handled badly so much more often than it's handled well that I'm predisposed against liking the game, they'll have to go a long way to winning me over.

I really hope it's not a MOBA, but even if it's not F2P alone is enough to turn me off.

I agree. They at least need to branch out and stop cloning each other so directly. Monday Night Combat was a MOBA that felt very different from every other MOBA, and wasn't nearly as hard to get into.

So how does this very negative RPS review match with your guys' perceptions? It's also interesting to me how everyone seems to talk about how nice the art style is. I think it's ugly as sin, and I don't even usually mind pixel art

People complain about every use of the word "cloud", and it's dumb. You're basically right, cloud storage is storage on some kind of online service, using servers. So what? That doesn't make the term invalid. Where its use becomes stupid is when companies say shit like "using the power of the cloud" without any further elaboration.

The only MOBA that's ever held my interest was Monday Night Combat. There was also a Starcraft 2 custom gametype that I really liked, where you controlled spaceships. It also had permadeath, no respawning, so that was interesting.

Bungie fixed the frame-pacing issue we were having prior to the break this week: That's really good to hear, there's little that bothers me more in games than an uneven framerate.

I think it's about a month. That trailer had me stoked, so I really hope you're wrong about it being F2P and/or MOBA.

IIRC they're independent levels, almost like a strategy game where each level is one battle.

I do care about holding on to things, I meant I don't feel strongly about buying physical over digital. On PC I buy almost exclusively digital.
