Youtube lets me find and view videos. I don't see the problem. People complaining about it just comes across as pointlessly whiny to me. Not saying a competitor would be bad, competition is good, I just don't get the Youtube hate.

Had been using some speakers that had come with a cheap HTIB, and one of them finally broke (makes popping noises any time something loud and deep, like an explosion, plays) so I decided to replace them with something better.

It's not that the framerate dips per se, it's that it changes at all, so it doesn't feel smooth. Constant 30 fps feels smoother than a framerate that's fluctuating between 30-40 fps.

That one's neat, but I don't care nearly as much about it as I do about being able to fix the fluctuating framerate.

They're adding some features to Second Son. Notable to me is the ability to lock the framerate at 30. Obviously I prefer higher framerates if they're stable, but a framerate that fluctuates a lot is distracting to me, so this will be nice, especially since according to Digital Foundry the game averages about 35 fps, so it's not like you're getting a huge benefit from the unlocked rate anyway. ETA on the patch is at least two weeks.

Titanfall: XBOne version. Really enjoying it so far. I know it's a multiplayer game, but it has a "campaign" which I finished so I'm calling that "beating" it. Also, Dean, weren't you the one who said to not just post pictures but to actually write the name of the game so that you can more easily tabulate the games at the end of the year?

I am so hilariously bad at Titanfall.

As with all online multiplayer, if you're not there learning with the first of us, you'll be learning at a slower pace. I haven't played in a while, but the last few times I felt bad for some of the beginners as most of us were flying all over the map and taking down Titans.

Woo! Finally had a game where I got more kills than deaths!

And now my last 10 games average vs players is 1.9 K/D, and I'm MVP maybe half the time. Either I picked that up fast or it finally figured out how bad I am and started put me against other bad people.

Yeah, the only system I had trouble figuring out was also the squeezing through barriers thing, just because there was no obvious indication that I could do it. Once I realized that it was a thing it didn't trouble me anymore.

So a PS4 bundle has appeared for preorder on a Spanish retailer's site. This pretty much confirms it's coming to PS4, since I highly doubt a retailer would go through all the trouble of mocking up a fake bundle that includes a branded satchel. The only other option is that this is all part of an elaborate April Fool's joke.

Finished it. I never died either, but now I'm wishing I had. I think it did a really cool job of bringing everything full circle.

@FLD: you can't do all of the their challenges in the same run of the mission, you can only get the ones associated with the play style you used. I forget what the three styles are, but they're like ghost, predator and warrior or something, and at the end of the mission it rates which of those play styles you used, and you can only get the challenges associated with that one.

The problem with Jensen is that you don't have enough control over him to feel like you're defining his personality, so he just comes across as not having one at all.

Usually there's a trap the wire cutters are disabling. If you use your thief vision you should see red pressure plates and wires that lead to the switch box, and when you cut it the wire it disables the pressure plates. Fire arrows can be used to set enemies/oil slicks on fire.

I'm still working on Episode 1. I didn't want to start it until Episode 2 came out, and then when it did I was on Infamous, so I just started Episode 1 yesterday. Will probably get them both finished today.

I got that as a pre-order bonus, and yeah it's somewhere between the client missions and a full-fledged story mission. It's maybe twice as big as one of the client missions.
