  1. Graphically speaking, resolution is the biggest thing that bothers me about playing last-gen games (has been for the last 5 years or so, since I've had a PC capable of reliably outperforming the consoles), and resolution is something that is readily addressable with a port like this. Same deal with The Last of Us. That said, I almost certainly won't be getting this at launch, even assuming it's real. And I probably would feel the same way as you guys about ME1, except I loved it so much when it first came out that I'm able to draw on that reservoir of fond memories when replaying it.
  2. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/03/07/infamous-second-son-dev-talks-sequel-and-dlc *Edit* - And this article from a couple weeks later says it's the same scope as Festival of Blood (which is meaningless to me because I never played that).
  3. A Chilean retailer's site has posted a page for the Mass Effect trilogy on PS4 and Xbone. Could just be placeholder though.
  4. They already said they're doing some story DLC.
  5. Yes, which is why it's here instead of just the Last OK Movie thread. I highly recommend the book, but your life would be no worse if you never see the movie. Honestly, as much as I hate the trend, this is one that could have been split into two movies, each longer than this one was.
  6. Ender's Game. I probably would have liked it more if I'd never read the book, but goddamn did they crap up the book. The plot was also super rushed, so nothing that happened made sense re: character motivations. The damn movie was less than 2 hours long, they could have taken a little more time and actually expanded on things. Many of the changes also completely destroy major points of the book (like the fight with Bonzo). Just a bad adaptation all around.
  7. Even so it seems like this game would be particularly suited to tablets, so they'd make an effort to support the Nexus ones.
  8. It /is/ compatible with my S4, which just seems weird.
  9. Lego Marvel Super Heroes. I'm enjoying it enough I think I'm going to keep going and plat it.
  10. It's not compatible with the Nexus 10. Also not compatible with any Nexus 7 before the 2013 version.
  11. I've been pondering if I should give Arkham Origins a final shot with Cold, Cold Heart. That challenge map pack I got months back gave me quite the fury. Then again, Dark Souls II is this Friday, and there's other DLC I haven't played yet. I didn't bother with any of the challenge packs in this game, I didn't like how they were designed. Cold, Cold Heart is short enough that you can knock it out in an afternoon, and worth a play if you've got the season pass.
  12. Did all the surveys together take less than 8 minutes? Cause if not you're making less than minimum wage taking them.
  13. "Well, there goes the rest of the summer..."
  14. Just finished Cold, Cold Heart. I actually really liked it, and would say it's better than the main game, except it's a little on the short side. Took me 3.5 hours to beat it, including 20 minutes of the slowest scrolling credits I have ever seen.
  15. I disagree. I liked the balance it struck between being able to queue up and plan out actions and still having direct control over the character, while avoiding the slowness of constantly pausing to issue orders.
  16. I played a little bit of KotOR on the PC and it also had that system, as did DA2 PC (I know, I know, DA2...).
  17. There's a combat video somewhere earlier in the thread. It looks like even on console you can switch back and forth between the more action-y version and the tactical view. Sadly, it looks like the KotOR-style combat is gone altogether, which is sad because I love that system.
  18. Yeah, I've been doing them as they come out, so it's a nice little 1 to 1.5 hour thing once a week. Like a TV show.
  19. So just don't do Paper Trail. It's really really minor in the whole scheme of the game.
  20. October 7 release date, and a new trailer: I'm really glad they went back to the DA:O art style, instead of the weird DA2 one.
  21. The whole Paper Trail thing is awesome you mean. The ARG aspects are really cool, and a neat little change up in the game.
  22. I agree with some games, like GTA, but in others the stamina limit can serve legitimate design purposes.
  23. People struggled with the command line thing? I might call it tedious, but it was not difficult.
  24. That one's easy, you've already done it once before.
  25. Yeah, I thought the same thing. It will probably just be cropped in on the sides to fit the various boxes.
