I've never had memtest give me a failure, even when I know that a specific stick of RAM is bad.

According to this Ico at least runs at 852x480 on Vita, but the Vita's native resolution is 960x544.
-
I haven't actually used it because I don't have any games that support it AFAIK.
-
Yeah, I'm guessing at first it was just a straight port of the PSP version, but that they could work with it to optimize it for the Vita to make it work a lot better.
-
Yeah, it's a great feature that should be used more. It would be wonderful to be able to use the PS3 without monopolizing the TV.

I'm glad that we're not the only ones who put idiots in charge of departments that they either know nothing about or are actively hostile to.

I know I use this far too often, but

That looks to me like it kind of undercuts my point, because it has drugging the person in "other means", a separate category from "force or threat", which would imply to me that "other means" wouldn't fall under "forcible rape" in that regime, unlike in the common law.

Also available in US for $50.

Selling my Nook Tablet. If I'd known this was coming back when I bought the Nook Tablet I probably would have held out for it. Basically my only real issue with the Nook is that the fact that I have to have it jailbroken to do a lot of the stuff I want (like install Play Store apps) makes it a little wonky to deal with sometimes, and this can do everything I want out of the box.

If you're in the US, eleven, the PC version of Assassin's Creed is $7 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010EK3SE/ref=ox_ya_os_product

Honestly, I think a better way would have been to have the d-pad just switch between screens, and still have you touch the icon you want. I think that would have made for the best usability.
-
I don't know, honestly.

I really liked it a lot. In fact I'd say I enjoyed it more than GTA, though I'm not quite willing to say I liked it more than GTA.

What did Revan's link link to? It just takes me to a "game not found" page on Ubi's store. Similarly Dean's link takes me to a "page not found" page on the Play store.

I'm sure the US boxart will be different and crappier, like always.

http://www.joystiq.com/2012/08/31/bethesda-ps3-dawnguard-release-still-problematic/ I'm certain this is related to the fact that PS3's memory is divided into two pools, which IIRC is what gave Skyrim all its PS3 problems in the first place.

Something in that ad that I think is a common misconception is that being drugged and then raped while unconscious doesn't fall under the definition of "forcible rape", but it does (at least under the common law definition of forcible, and that's what would likely be used since the law didn't specifically define "forcible").

Everyone knows reality has a liberal bias.

Kind of early to be advertising a movie coming out in February...

Nowhere I've ever lived except the dorms has had ethernet hookups. Is that a standard thing?

Yeah, I was kind of in awe of how good Uncharted looked on the Vita. I was playing that at the same time my wife was playing Skyward Sword, and I just couldn't help but laugh that handheld console I was using far outclassed the Wii in terms of hardware, even if it is 5 years newer.

Honestly, the more I think about it the more having separate memory cards seems like actually LESS of a hassle than doing the resetting thing. The only real problem with it is that the memory cards are balls ass expensive. @Excel: Mostly beside your point, but the US PSOne selection on the Vita store sucks balls compared to the EU one. You can still side-load the games from PS3 apparently though, so it's not really that big a deal.
-
Yeah, I was thinking about it wrong, for some reason I was thinking the system was locked, but it's just the card. I still think it's stupid, but I retract my righteous indignation. Buying a separate memory card for each person who uses the Vita isn't just ridiculous. As for the people who were doing the system reset thing, I totally agree that they were on notice what they were doing probably wasn't what Sony wanted them to be doing, and I don't feel bad for them losing access to that capability.
