Just finished Skyward Sword, which I absolutely loved. Looking to start Arkham City next.

Stupid two-party system. My choices are: 1) a group of people I think are completely retarded, 2) a group of people who are pretty damn retarded but not quite as bad as the first group, or 3) a group of people I am at least somewhat in agreement with, but have no chance of winning.

The modding community is so active with Skyrim I think I might wait and pick it up again after playing through Batman and Assassin's Creed, give them a chance to really get some improvements made.

Most of the current models are aesthetic though. Until Creation Kit comes out there won't be much in the way of new content.

Generally if the sitting president is eligible for reelection (ie they haven't hit their term limit) they automatically get their party's nomination so there's not a big primary run on that side. So this year Obama gets the Democratic nomination automatically.

I actually did like the shield-bash counter mechanic quite a bit.

I also didn't use the shield much because every time you use your sword you put the shield down and have to manually bring it back up.

I'm like WAS, I only use it for projectiles b/c I'm terrified of breaking it (even though I have the self-repairing shield and have fully upgraded it).

I'm going with the Stormcloaks because at the beginning of the game the Empire was going to execute me, only stopping because of a dragon attack. I make it a general policy not to help people who try to execute me.

I really like upgrading equipment too. I do NOT like the limited inventory space for "items" though. I have bought all the pouch upgrades, so I have the full 8 slots, and I still don't like having to choose whether to use my upgrade bomb bags or not due to limited space. Also, why the fuck does my shield take up a slot in my pouch when it's equipped? It's not in my pouch, it's on my fucking back! Bring back hammerspace goddamnit!

Oh, I haven't played the DS games. In Twilight princess though there are a couple in jars an things, but if you do the Cave of Ordeals every 10th floor you get to basically turns one of the Spirit Springs into a fairy fountain. From what I read though there simply aren't any fairy fountains in Skyward Sword at all.

Yeah, I don't really understand why Notch feels the need to make it into a "game". Everyone seems perfectly okay with it just being a toy.
