  1. I think there's plenty there. The interface is absolutely terrible though, and needs a major overhaul. Hopefully some modders can take care of that for us.
  2. I'm getting AssRev for PC, so I get to wait until Nov 29. Yay.
  3. My wife and I went halvsies on Skyward Sword. We get it at launch (well, 2 days after b/c of shipping).
  4. 10 imaginary internet bucks says that fast food restaurants are the first to adopt this meat in large quantities.
  5. I can't decide or not. Now that I've got a feel for how the game works I might want to try to start again. Then again, I do love Battle Mage Jesus.
  6. I'm practically salivating for my key...
  7. Dean: there actually is a Lego Star Wars movie, I've seen it at Walmart.
  8. My brain doesn't work anywhere near fast enough to do something like that...
  9. Wow, those water tweaks REALLY make the water look a lot better. Which is good, because while the water looks nice up close it's been bugging me how shitty it looks at a distance.
  10. Just now I killed a dragon, without a great deal of trouble. Then I was like "I need a mammoth tusk, I see a mammoth icon on my HUD, I'll go get that." Avoided pissing off the giants, and attacked a mammoth that was far enough away not to draw their attention. The freaking mammoth absolutely destroyed me. It seems like if I can take a dragon then a mammoth shouldn't be too much trouble...
  11. Also, protip: turn off regular antialiasing and use FXAA instead. It looks about as good as 4x AA (better in some ways, as it will antialias transparencies, textures, shadows, etc, which regular AA will not), and it's WAY less resource intensive so it lets you turn everything else up higher.
  12. I'm playing Battle Mage Jesus, so my character is ridiculous enough that I can just do what I feel like without it really clashing.
  13. I meant attributes as in physical appearance, for which people only seem to react to race and gender. It's cool that they react to your skills though.
  14. Usually it's because they use the console FOV on the PC version as well. The console FOV is designed for you to be sitting some distance back from the screen, so it's not filling as much of your view, and doesn't work as well on a PC where you're sitting much closer.
  15. Has anyone else had the problem where you have to turn your speaker volume WAY up because Skyrim is so damn quiet? And if so have you found a solution? I have to turn mine up so high that there's a constant background hiss.
  16. To fix the vertical mouse sensitivity go to the Skyrim.ini file in Documents\MyGames\Skyrim and change the following lines fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0100 fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0200 to be the same (I changed them both to 0.0200, but people say making them both 0.0100 also works). The lines should be under the Controls heading. If they're not there just add them.
  17. Wife's laptop finally went kaput, so got her a replacement. Inspiron 15R 2nd gen.
  18. I can't speak for the reviewers, but all I was having to do was push down on the d-pad in order to re-center the pointer, because the Wii Motion+ lost track of which direction the TV was. Using the sensor bar would have fixed that.
  19. Damnit, I was hoping they'd fixed that for the final version. WTF were they thinking not using the sensor bar AT ALL?
  20. It would be cool if different NPCs were attracted to different physical attributes (beyond just gender) so if you made a giant buff black dude then different people would be attracted to you than if you made a small, frail albino guy.
