  1. I'm sad to see Wind Waker sharing a rank with Brawl. Wind Waker deserves better than that.
  2. I would like some kind of explanation too. Don't know what "dorf" means though.
  3. lol, if only one game per day is revealed this is going to take months.
  4. I haven't seen anything specifically addressing it, but the fact that everything I've seen talks about you playing as Cole Phelps specifically, I really doubt dying will make you become a different person. Likely you'll just go back to a checkpoint.
  5. That makes me want to buy the game, and I haven't even finished the first one yet. *Adds "Play The Witcher" to his to-do list
  6. If the mission structure is as non-linear as those I will be fucking ecstatic.
  7. If I'm remembering correctly, it was one of those Animus tutorial things, so it wasn't actually someone teaching Altair, it was more like the Animus teaching Desmond how Altair's powers work. It was the same kind of thing that told you about the indicators above guards' heads that told how alert they were.
  8. My interest in this game just diminished significantly. Sad thing is, if it's a shitty PC port it's just going to continue the cycle: 1) Dev makes shitty PC port => 2) PC players don't buy it cause it's not good => 3) Dev says "PC players aren't buying our games, we'd better not put much resources into the PC versions => 1)...
  9. Hint: the blue key opens the blue door.
  10. I don't mean just the world though, I mean the mission structure. It looks like hootie thinks he remembers reading that it's less linear, though, so that's good.
  11. lol, I wouldn't say "guarding the flag" is "cheap" so much as it is "the objective".
  12. I didn't mind the seesaw puzzles themselves, what I did mind is that there are 15 million of them, in both Episodes too. We get it, you have a physics engine! If I have to do one more seesaw puzzle I may snap.
  13. I have a question: will it be less linear than Arkham Asylum? The structure of the world in AA made me feel like I should be choosing between which missions I want to do at any given time, but in actuality it was very linear.
  14. Yeah, I'm with dean, I think the bleeding effect just trained him how to use the genetic skills he already possessed, it didn't give him any new skills. Altair and Ezio spent years training those same skills without the bleeding effect, like you said. That's why it took them years, and Desmond weeks.
  15. It could be what dean speculated, that the assassin traits are dominant. In that case Ezio and Desmond wouldn't necessarily be "pure", they'd just have the traits.
  16. I'm not sure if it's actually true, but I feel like I've been being more of an asshole lately. Or at least snarkier than normal.

    1. Saturnine Tenshi

      I have no comparison, but I'd say you're a pretty big asshole! <: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16621290/agiftforyou.png

I don't think you have been acting any differently. It is quite easy to wind you up though. =p

  17. Maybe that's part of it, I didn't really like San Andreas.
  18. I don't, to be honest. I've heard reasons, but none of them make any sense to me.
  19. Thank you, I've been trying to figure that out for like the last 10 minutes. All I could find was one description on a gamespot thread that didn't make any sense.
  20. I'm surprised that people are surprised that whether you're loyal in ME2 to your ME1 romance has consequences. They've been saying since before ME2 released that it would have consequences.
  21. Especially since nothing I saw before launch indicated it was any more MP focussed that any other shooter.
  22. I'm stoked for this game, and my stoke-o-meter has not let me astray since I can remember.
  23. I quite liked Darksiders, and without the puzzles I think I would have liked it significantly less. It's like a poor man's Zelda, which is exactly what I wanted when I bought it.
  24. Haha, the extent of my familiarity with the theory comes from Wikipedia and TVTropes.
  25. 1) That's the first time I've ever said that. I have seen other people saying it though. 2) They didn't do The Getaway, Team Soho did. The founder of Team Bondi was the Director of Development for Team Soho, but it's not the same developer. Team Soho is now part of Sony Computer Entertainment London.
