  1. That's certainly interesting. One of those things I could see going either way, either super useful or ending up just as a weird gimmick. At first I thought the whole bottom portion was a screen, keyboard included, which I could definitely see that being useful in some situations.
  2. If it had been a racing game I would have still been disappointed, but also intrigued.
  3. Discovery is exclusive to CBS All Access, Picard is on Amazon... it's like they don't want me to watch Star Trek... ?
  4. I'm sick of the power flicking off for 1/4 second and killing my game, so I got a ups.
  5. Observation, the second game I've actually paid for on the Epic Store. Been described as 2001: A Space Odyssey where you're HAL.
  6. You might as well, it's probably better than the integrated graphics, so if you have it laying around no reason not to.
  7. CoD: Infinite Warfare It was a lot of fun, and I liked the ship/mission selection aspect, but goddamn was the story bad. And not bad like incomprehensible, or simple, or whatever, but bad like the moral of the story is that you have to order your people into suicide missions in order to be an effective commander. According to this game there are two kinds of commanders: bad commanders who sacrifice the mission objectives to ensure that all of their people survive, and good commanders who do not care at all if their people survive as long as the objective is completed. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but the leader of the enemies actually represents the quintessential good commander by this game's view. Which brings me to my second major complaint. The enemies are cartoon villains who seek destruction for its own sake, with no regard for their own survival or the survival of those under their command, and without even the benefit of actual historical context to justify why they hate you so much. Like they're basically the villains from Modern Warfare with all the nuance shaved off. Which I feel like is saying something in and of itself: that the villains were paper-thin by the standards of Call of Duty. It was a lot of fun though. Also I liked the robot squad mate.
  8. What program are you using to draw?
  9. I started Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare yesterday. Gameplay is CoD, and it's pretty as hell, but it's cringeworthy how cartoon-villain the enemies are. Even for a CoD game they're thin.
  10. My streak continues! Guacamelee 2 was on sale on the Switch eShop, so here we are.
  11. Apparently today is the day for me to add to my backlog. Surviving Mars: Green Planet just came out, and I don't have the previous expansion either, and the season pass is on sale right now so... *Edit - I just realized it's actually cheaper to buy the First Colony Edition, even though it includes the base game which I already own. Refund request away! *Edit 2 - Refund approved, so now I've bought the First Colony Edition instead!
  12. Hades (early access) by Supergiant is $7 on the Epic store right now as part of their summer sale. First game I've bought from that store.
  13. I keep coming this close to buying it for my wife, cause she loved the first one, but it's never been quite cheap enough.
  14. Yeah, I always manually restore my backups, it's not hard and that way I can make sure I put stuff where I want it.
  15. I keep wanting to do a P5 NG+, but with P5R coming out next year I feel like I should just wait. Although looking, there are still some trophies I need that you can only get in NG+...
  16. Found Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for 6 bucks on Amazon.
  17. Yeah, my understanding is that SLI is finicky at best, and rarely worth it, because of a lack of support.
  18. I abandoned my DVD drive when I upgraded my motherboard and the new one didn't have an IDE slot, which meant I would have had to buy a new DVD drive and fuck that. It's been 3 years and I haven't missed it yet.
