  1. Atom, Comcast is causing me to not be able to play since the god damn connection has been so fucking variable in the last 3 weeks. Before that, it has been fine. Fuck, its not only affecting Killzone 3 but everything else as well. Fucking horse shit. Yes I'm mad. Yes, I know it can also be the Killzone 3 servers but damn man...
  2. It would be pretty cool if in the future, 3D printer can utilize all the plastic bags we use each and every day. Plastic bags are very plentiful and they, I would think, can easily be melted as needed. At the moment, I imagine that you would have to shred up the bags in a paper shredder, then feed a melter to feed a head with something to work with. Some advanced versions could use just whole bags, maybe. Heheh, sounds pretty interesting, these 3D printers.
  3. I never crack any of my joints. Well, I haven't in AGES.
  4. The guy's other videos are worth a watch as well.

Porn is good... IT MAKES ME WANT TO LIVE TO THE NEXT DAY. Also, nice article you got here on the forums. Informative but still.
  9. Tuxedo Sam is one sly mother f'er.
  10. So, me being a self declared Chinese redneck, watched some Nascar today. Got to be frustrating for the 3rd place person since... he was 1st until the last 5 seconds where he BLEW A TIRE. Damn, I would be pissed if I was him. Also, a lady finished 4th, a record. :D

  11. Holy cow, I'm sleeping early.
  12. Amazon, please stay strong on no tax on CA folks. Having free two day shipping on top if it makes shopping with you guys one of the sweetest things ever. FIGHT ON.

  13. I should doodle more. I don't consider myself good but I'm decent enough. I guess...
  14. Earthquake, in a game with good physics? I want a non-cam version now! My body is ready.
  15. I think I'm about to repeat myself and I'm not sure if I'm even making much sense but eh, here I go. No analogy can quite work with on-disk DLC. With renting a place or a getting a hotel room, you know what you get. Its very well defined. When a person buy a game on a disk or as a download, a good deal of people are hardwired to think that whatever is on the disk or download is what you paid for. The DLC data is there in the disk or in the game data folder on your computer so you got it but you can't use it. That conflicts with the good deal of people who think that whatever they paid for is what they get. I think most people accept or can accept that we are buying the right to play the game, however, I think less people can accept that they can only get the right to play part, not the whole, of the game that is on the disk or download. It just totally clashes with how most people think on what they get is what they paid for. As far as I know, this conflict is unique to the gaming industry. My tired mind can't think of any other thing that can compare.
  16. I think I had barley tea before since I may have misidentified it as rice tea. Whatever it was, its good. The taste is like... well, grainy or the smell of baked bread. Its hard to describe!
  17. Pre-order DLC are fine by me, its just the on-disk DLCs that annoys me. Dean gave a reason why. It also opens up things that get pretty damn ugly like... "Sorry folks, you didn't purchase the sidequest portion of the game, please purchase a code to activate it." A little bit related... Wasn't BC2: Vietnam sorta was like on-disk DLC? However, if I recall correctly, the Vietnam data came along with a patch/update a week or two before Vietnam hit. So I can't dock them for that. It was pretty sweet to just punch in the code and you're set to go. ---- Hope no one replies before this edit. Johnny, can't say I can see it as accessories. When you buy the game with the on-disk DLC, when you get the disk or download that comes with it, I see it as me purchasing the DLC as well. Its just really weird that you got the data but you can't use it. You got it along with what you can use on disk or download. I'm with Dean on this one, I can't think of anything similar... actually... The closest thing that comparable is when you rent a place to live or whatever. You can be in or use A and C but you can't be in or use B. So, buying a game is actually more like renting the data to use whenever. You can use A and C data but not B. Still, I feel better if they left that DLC data out of the disk or download.

You ever heard about the supposed sudden unattended acceleration problem that Toyota had a year ago or so? I said supposed since as far as I know, its wasn't the car that caused it.

  18. Geez, sure is fighting with my internet everyday now so that it goes at a decent speed.

  19. The graphical settings are there but man, PC gamers who want to play this game on higher settings have really good PCs, thus they know the ins and outs of anything related computers such as accessing a settings file. Also to know how to pirate the game so why bother making one in game when they already know how to do it by editing a file!? Why make life easier for PC gamers because they're all pirates!!!111! I mean, look at that leak earlier in the year... I hope I captured how some folks like some folks at Epic and maybe Crytek feel... Funny thing is... that graphics setting BS was already in the leaked game. I wonder if leaking that version of the game was somehow linked to how they raped the game, so someone in Crytek leaked the game in protest. I can wonder...
  20. For whatever reason, there was no voting option. I really have no idea why its stuck to that one map. As for those turrets... I'm not so sure how accurate and sensitive they are. I was tracking someone near spawn and so I stood by a turret to have some backup fire. NOPE! That SOB for whatever reason can take me down with a single non-head shot, and that turret didn't shoot at him. WHAT THE FUCK.
  21. So, in the internet pet peeved thread, I got reminded of this gem, one of my favorites...
  22. We fought with great valor and fortitude. While we lost some battle, we drove the ISA further back than before! Though, I'm kinda of peeved that we didn't win that really close game. The whole team just fell apart at the end* but man, that one disarm was tense. Six seconds to disarm a bomb while everyone else is fight around me. That sort of round is what I play for. *I was eating cake...
  23. Taken from the comments. "I have a hard time playing other FPS's (especially Killzone) because the physics don't feel right." The physics feeling like nothing is why I stopped playing CoD games in the first place. Hell, I picked up Killzone 3 for the physics feel! When people said it felt soulless, that, I think, is part of the reason why it did. Heh, one people dislike is another person's like. Edit: Johnny, I would argue that its too smooth. I would imagine that they could of made it better with each game but you really don't see it, if they even done anything to it.
  24. "Sugar rush"? That's a good way to naming how CoD games feels since MW2, with Blops taking it to a whole new level. They feel so fast and stuff that you don't feel anything at all. And you did well.
