I heard it was open-world. This has piqued my interest.

After Kotaku goes full on into that new horribly ugly format of theirs, I'm pretty much out of a site to go to. There's always Giantbomb, I suppose. Haven't been around their neighborhood yet.

3 years is quite a long time, so, yes, then I can agree with that statement. I'm perfectly fine with whatever they do to the HUD. I just wish they kept the inventory/HUD/text SMALL for PC gamers and allowed us to see more things at once while scrolling (in comes the UI mods).

I just realized after looking at Kotaku's front page is that it's all stuff that I saw on Reddit. A week ago. Especially so with the stem-cell gun and the Duty Calls spoof. But I suppose they have to do something. Reporting on stuff people have already reported on, eh?

At this point, I think expecting gameplay trailers is a tall order unless you'd rather it be early-testing gameplay trailers that are in no way representative of the final product.

I only go to GT to actually, you know, watch game trailers. The occasional review is also good. I find their review format quite spiffy as they usually like to explain-and-show at the same time.

Holy crap, that new io9 format is HORRIBLE. "io9: We Come From The Future". We should end the world right now because the future doesn't look all that great.

Once again, the A-Bomb Nightclub would like to remind me why this game is a prime example of Murphy's Law. 4 times over.

I thought the original name for it was the Disc Launcher, but was only renamed (or unofficially renamed, I guess) to the Spinfusor in the more recent Tribes games.

Yeah, I saw Whisper of the Heart as well. Needless to say, I found it very lacking for a Ghibli film.

I imagine their reaction being more akin to one laden with profanities of the highest degree at the cheating noobs who play this game, and that the game royally sucks.

Is this game filled with pros like him? Judging by the occupation of players in the video's name, I think it's safe to assume that 1 out of every 6 players is just like him.

Best local co-op? Go get one of the old Gauntlet games. I had a great time playing them with my cousins back when the original Xbox was the hotcakes.

Aww man, I would have recommended Rapelay, fun for the whole family! Playing School Days with the whole family and going for the bad endings.

If I have the chance to, quick-save every time I think crap's going to happen, regular save only after finishing an objective or major plot point. Deus Ex is a good example of this. I abuse the quicksave button to hell and back.

I just found out that there's more than one way to make a shield. Arcane + Shield + Shift-Right-Click = Awwwww Yeahhhh. Also, mix and match various elements to get some lulz. Stone will make a circle of rocks around you, while Life will make a circle of explosive mines (depending on element). Still can't figure out Rain, though, someone should get back to me on that.

Whaddaya know! War carries a sword that is so big and heavy for normal people and also swings it with one hand!

Obviously as the only man with exceeding qualifications in Necromorph anatomy and combat expertise, the universe IS the one that doesn't make any sense! Psh, everybody should take a page from Isaac's book. I know all of us already have!
