  1. I'd say the response is one that's expected from anyone that would get to play a Jedi. I can't find the video but I know Ewan McGregor was making the sound effects on set and getting told off.
  2. A combo of a colleague pushing me to try out Hola Unblocker and I think some recommendations I saw on Reddit(and many stuff before including you guys, but trends n triggers) I'm now watching Better Off Ted. Watched about 4 episodes in a row last night, though during the fourth had to get off my bike Tested (well "Untitled: Adam Savage Project" or whatever it is) more recently recommended Mr Robot too (as did a friend who other week just out of blue messaged with "Dean Watch Mr Robot") So might put that into the queue next. Flash is back on too, but can't like binge cycle through that.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34602621 Man in Sweden dressed as some kind of anime SS officer kills two and critically injures 2 more at a school using a sword. We know what he dressed as since two students posed with him thinking he was dressed for halloween. Given the targeted school, choice of uniform and that they've found a bunch of far-right and nazi crap at his home it's thought to be a racist attack.

Pretty much everything I've heard is that Germany owns up to their Nazi past so hard. Also isn't Germany one of the less islamaphobe states too?

What gets me is how shit the timing is. He says this, then flies off to Berlin the day after. And yeah playing the "Ah but the holocaust" card too much kinda wears down it's effectiveness. Israel was maybe not the Allies best post-WWII solution.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/oct/21/germany-refuses-accept-binjamin-netanyahu-claim-adolf-hitler-holocaust So it's 2015, and cos of Israels stupid prime minister trying to blame Palestine for the Holocaust Germany is having to reiterate and remind folks that they're responsible for the holocaust.
  8. I used to watch it at my dads since he had Sky. Since moving out I grabbed a bunch of series of TPB and found out that the narrator is different for UK release (though iirc it got stripped back at the show progressed, like they used to have the "urban legend expert" or whatever on and that lasted like 1-2 series). Not kept up with it as much as I'd have liked, it's not super easy to follow (especially with eztv sorta "going"), I guess could see about grabbing latest series and final.
  9. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/10/21/mythbusters-ending-interview Mythbusters is ending. Been a long run mind and be interesting to see where folks go next. Adam doing his Tested stuff (one of the few podcasts I've recently gotten into) and Jamie sticking with M5 and similar.
  10. http://bubblegumcrash.tumblr.com/post/131660906582/theverge-take-a-look-inside-japans-neon-genesis (warning: auto-playing music) Neon Genesis bullet train. Looks pretty cool.
  11. Well this only has the one ship. Though you can hire mercenaries but I imagine they're pretty automated. One thing that's kinda neat with having the one ship is that the shields and hulls are independently port, starboard, aft n forward. Apart from the planets floating around it is sorta sea combat (have broadside cannons which work a lot like they do in AC, though I only played III). Only issue I have with it, which I might sort out tonight, is controls are a bit finnicky, trying to fly, maybe boost around, while aiming then raising deflector shields/firing flack cannon can be a bit funky since that's Sticks, one pushed down to boost, R2 to aim broadside, L2 to fire with R1 to raise deflector. Deflector might be easier if I can find a toggle feature.
  12. Picked up Rebel Galaxy. Have seen bits and bobs and perked up my interest. Watched a bit of the "Quick Look" and read some of the reviews and seemed it'd be up my street. Pretty fun so far. It's more of a "arcedy" experience (as picked up by Gianbomb lot) but I quite like that. I've got my turrets set on auto for most part (you can pick the kind of targets the auto-lock on to), and mainly use my broadside for manual mode, ripping through hulls when shields are down. There's quite a bit of depth in kitting yourself out, probably need to play with a few styles. The Command Ships are quite a bitch though, had upgraded a chunk and figured I could take one on. I'd gotten better but still blew me up. Only sorta annoyance is it only saves in stations (which now I'm learning coding for games makes sense to me on why) but it's not a huge issue since you're usually going between them and if you're destroyed it's usually on a mission you just picked up from a station.
  13. Mirror Mirror IIRC I'd actually put the channel on for the start of Fifth Element but it got changed over to this, was at my mums so not like I'd complain on what's on TV. Was pretty damn dull film though. It's a "retelling" of the Snow White fable and not a very good one at that. The mirror is actually a portal to a sort of mini-world where Julia Roberts sister/twin/soul lives. It tries to be "silly" at times but it runs counter to the time it tries to be serious. I feel that Julia Roberts had a slightly different script to everyone else. I guess the fact it wasn't Fifth Elements slightly soured it too.
  14. What ending did you get? (since I assume there's a couple excluding death)
  15. I thought the latest Origin ToS seemed a bit slim. Also if you don't care for invites I'm rather enjoying my Moto X Style so far. The proper stereo speakers not only look pretty damn nice but sound a trillion times better than the mono at the bottom of my Note. The twist to activate camera is kinda nice (though not 100% keen on the whole "tap to take photo" thing but so far it's doing alright with the focus). Nice to have raw Android too though I'm having to learn some of the differences (I got stuck in 80 Days for a bit but that seemed more an issue with the game than OS). Battery life is pretty damn sweet so far but atm it's not being used as a phone (not that I use my current phone with a sim in it as a phone much either) which might change when I get a SIM in it.
  16. TIL there's a third. Yeah it'd seem that the PC port revived the series a fair bit. I think a lot of Japanese devs are starting to see PC as a viable place for JRPGs and the like.
  17. Am I the one that gets to post it? cool. Reverse hyperscape ftw. It would seem from the trailer while the rebels won and all, it wasn't an overwhelming victory if folks are having to ask if "it's true" (even though you see loads of celebrations near the end of Return of the Jedi) Oh there's also a new poster out btw:

  19. Over here Geordie accent is meant to be most kind (hence call centres opening up here), but intelligent? Not sure I find any american accents particualrly attractive, many are sort of nasally, or sound close to west country.
  20. Huh, I thought the circle bits were trackpads not buttons. Weird choice.
  21. They've an advert for Steam Link.
  22. All the changes to A New Hope, they've more for the other films too.
  23. Completed Lifeline. Pretty neat n compelling game.
  24. I'm quite enjoying it. Only killed him twice so far.
