I started playing that and got pretty stumped as to what you're meant to do, controls were very needlessly QWOP like. Bit of a bummer, devs are not far from work I guess I could go ask em.

Apart from the Be-Ro recipe books calling for Be-Ro flour I don't think I've ever seen recipes call for specific brands. Maybe it's a English vs English thing? (I tend to avoid American recipes cos they use cups)

Just watched it (I guess being left alone in the office for two days has it's perks) and yeah pretty hefty change for the show Had been a few bits this series that were a bit meh, I wasn't really into the Purge episode didn't move much forwards. Was the parasite one this series? That was pretty fun.

Wrapped up Death Note started watching Humans. Only into the first episode so far, it's pretty neat, covering various elements of "what if we made AI robots" ("synths" in this). There's a few threads in it, main one is the group of Synths that have full feeling n thought on the run. Other is a household where the regularly working from home mum is kinda "replaced" with a Synth(one of the special ones incognito) and her reactions to that, and a guy with progressing alzhiemers (or similar) who has a a aging synth (though physically youngest of them all) that is malfunctioning, but kind of his memory bank of sorts and I guess surrogate son. Covers lightly on singularity (mainly a brief description), references "asimov" though only a split second, and so far it'd seem they're not following the Three Laws but do have their own version sorta defined throughout the first episode (the house keeping synth burns the mum with a oven tray in protecting the daughter). Compelling first episode. I think it's coming to US Netflix, I reckon be a good watch. Edit: The son/aging one is the gay prostitute from Game of Thrones. Thought I recognised him, was itching in my mind. (Merlin and Jen are much more immediately to mind). Something in back of my mind was going "this is wierd that the old man has a Snyth that looks like that...why is this firing neurons in my brain". Didn't help one of them is actually a prostitute synth. edi9t 2: So this is interesting. Anyway: It's on AMC for the Americans wanting to watch. It turns out however it wasn't originally a Channel4/AMC production but one by Xbox Entertainment Studios but they've since closed after producing the documentary about Atari & ET game. I'd guess given the folks in the show that it's been produced more by Channel 4 than AMC.

Damage Control being the company that rebuilds things after the latest super hero fight. Such as aliens in New York, cities being raised into the sky by robots or other aliens attacking Greenwich. They were implicated in initiating the Civil War in the comics by supplying a drug that enhances abilities (which lead to explosion of a chunk of town killing kids and blah blah read Marvel Civil War if you want). Towns being destroyed, heroes fighting each other. A lot of damage, a lot of construction contracts.

I'm not sure on Seagates range, cos in my experience they're one of the worst after Maxtor and since Maxtor has gone bust (and then bought out by Seagate). But I know Western Digital do a range of specific hard drives: Black - Top end stuff, higher RPM, larger cache, higher power use, might as well get a SSD though Blue - Standard hard drive, nice amount of cache, regular speed Green - (which I picked up) Useful as a back-up drive, slower, larger, will go to sleep more often but means it's quieter and less power hungry Red - Designed for NAS, which means it'll last a fair while for back-up purposes and be good for multiple access. It'll be on BBC Three though (Torchwood was on BBC Two) which doesn't give it much of an approval from BBC since they're binning BBC3 off TV early next year, which is when this starts filming Be interesting how that'll work out if it's online only. Can be given a quick death if it works out naf I guess. Though Torchwood did find itself near the end with some proper sci-fi stories. Though Stars kinda bungled the last series, it was quite interesting concept.
