  2. What the fuck is up with angry Superman? Snyder has him break Zods neck in the last one then just doubles down on it. edit: folks are saying this is a dream sequence. Is Bruce just gonna go out of a shower at the end of the film?
  3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/doctorwho/entries/10dd7ae7-79c1-4d82-a11b-6e4810ea4251 Christmas episode will have River Song (and Matt Lucas too but I've a feeling most abroad won't know him apart from Tweedle Dee and Dum in the newer Alice in Wonderland. Give Little Britain a watch). (which given they've posted this and not anything else suggests that the Peter Jackson sketch was purely a sketch)
  4. http://i.imgur.com/X2k6gSq.gifv *snort* Yeah, if it had an SP there'd be at least something to get into. But as it stands I've got other things to be playing right now, n by time I'd want to play Battlefront the community will likely be mostly dead and moved onto the next thing.
  5. I went back and watched the 50th to spruce myself up on stuff since I imagine some of that'll be referenced. (though Skaro carries on coming back with nary a word on how) Also I thought I recognised one of the Time Lords so had a look and he's the maester from Winterfell. So that's another on the Doctor Who/Game of Thrones. (Originally thought might be Sam Carters dad from Stargate. I know he's in that Continuum show as well) Oh yeah, Peter Jackson posted a video this morning that featured Peter Capaldi and I can't work out if it means he's directing an episode of Doctor Who or not, it was kind of inconclusive. Maybe it's actually part one of three for what should be a short video saying he's doing Doctor Who. https://www.facebook.com/PeterJacksonNZ/videos/10153602968491558/?permPage=1 I'd say it's high up there as it's a very similar concept behind the monster which is while the move slowly, they just keep coming and eventually you're going to stop and it'll get you. I know there was a book I read recently-ish with a similar concept for death. That we all have a personal death that's constantly heading towards us and one day we'll stop for a rest and they'll be right there saying hi. It ties in well with Doctor Who too since he's always running, it's what he does. Also first time he was there we was totally in the nud.
  6. The USS Constitution side quest is great. A little bit hard since at least for me one of the raiders brought a fatman to a cannon fight, but that was only the one time I attempted to "repel boarders", few tries and had it sorted. My only issue with it, and I'm pretty sure it's a bug of sorts, is that every time I'd get near/enter/leave Piper would say "I'm confused, it didn't sail up here". every.god.damn.time. Must have heard her say it 100 times. edit: There's a Buzz Lightyear mod for Danse/BOS Power Armour http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3579
  7. I'm in that area at the moment and it's my first time against Gamma weapons and ....FFFUUU. I only take a handful of non-stimpak aids with me cos they use weight so had like 4 radaways on me.
  8. FFFUUUU. That was a really good episode. Like, why can't all of the others this series by like that?
  9. So some random tips I figure would be worth sharing since I've spoken with a few folks who haven't been aware of these since this game is terrible at explaining its fringe mechanics: Mods If you have say a Legendary Wounding Short rifle, which has a cool effect but overall is less dam/acc/rof than your main Heat Seeking Agitated Powerful Rifle, and you can't build the parts that one has cos you're a low level gun nut, what you can do is change out all the Mods on your non-effect weapon to "Standard" (or equivalent) and apply to your Legendary weapon, so now you have a weapon just as powerful, with the advantage of the 25 Bleed (or whatever weapon has). I learned this one a bit too late and only past few days had pretty decent weapons (I've a shotgun with poison, which is nice, and an anti-mutant laser. It's a bit weaker than most other guns, but against super mutants it chews through them). Also Mods get stored in your inventory and are 0.5lb each. If you store them in your Workshop they'll be used instead of building new mods if you have them. (Though I don't think they are carried over on Supply Lines so make sure all your mods are stored in your main base). Also if you store them in the workshop they don't take up a ton of space until you realise why you're so heavy. Supply Lines It's a thing you get from the Leadership Perk, I'll just link to an imgur link that walks you through it but basically it allows your Workshops to share the same resources when building. So as long as you can get enough starting material to power up a settlement radio tower thing you'll get in two folks and can set one of them up as Supply Line guy and can build the rest of settlement up proper. The items do not appear in the Workshop Inventory though. And I'm unsure if food gets transferred, I think at least plants do. http://imgur.com/a/EfPub Excess If you have a big ass water pump you'll make more water than your people need, so they store it in your Workshop. Same with excess food, and also you get a steady caps income from any Trading Posts you build too. Check your Workshop from time to time to withdraw some of these goodies. Though if you plan right your excess Purified Water and crops can be used to make Vegetable Starch which is worth 4 Adhesive. On the food and water front always make sure you have a higher Defence value than your do Food+Water and this'll discourage raiders/supermutants/deathclaws etc. Grinding Because this game has 256 levels (or whatever it is) there's several quest lines from each faction designed to generate an infinite amount of XP/caps. I would avoid bothering too much with these early on as they just grind. However be aware the Minutemen stuff for your settlements do have a time limit of sorts on so if somewhere is being attacked make sure to not ignore it or you'll get a Quest failed, and find some of the things you've build have been destroyed (mainly defence/power/water related things than actual buildings). If you want a quick XP boost, always sleep before doing any building work/modding/cooking to get a slight boost to your XP (there's even a meal you can make which gives a 2% boost on top). Only need to sleep for an hour in this one to get the "Well Rested" perk, which I'm not sure if that's a bug or not.
  10. I didn't much like Sierra Madre, but Old World Blues was fucking great. Lonesome Road and Honest Hearts were pretty good too, and I think the latter I got my best gear from.
  11. I worry for your kids if "Eartha" is the best girls name you could come up with.
  12. It'll be interesting, but I doubt they'll bring it in. I imagine JJ Abrams will have dived into EU for a bit of a looksy and potential inspiration, and maybe watch the show too (though it's quite long at this point) but I don't think they'd bring Maul back. From a film perspective he's dead (even if from official Disney continuity he isn't, since Clone Wars is one of the few non-film things given the thumbs up) but not everyone will have seen that (I watched the cartoon, but not much of the 3D stuff so while I know Maul isn't dead I've not seen the particular episodes). Also he was "killed" in Phantom Menace, which at this point is like 60+ years ago from VII. I'm not sure Abrams would be diving into prequel territory too much. It's sort of tainted. (also a quick check and Peter Saro*mumble* isn't listed as being in Star Wars upcoming) Anywho was reading a good point this morning that the only folks that know the truth about Darth Vader are either dead, or Luke & Liea who as heroes of rebellion against Empire might not want to go "oh yeah, he was our dad, and he was good in the end and killed the Emperor". Would play better for them to keep parentage secret (folks think she's Leia Organa anyway, and know Lukes dad was killed in Order 66 as one of the Jedi) and not mention the whole redemption thing and play off as Luke killing both, and Rebels blowing up Death Star. Which probably what leads on to: 1. Kylo not being aware Vader redeemed himself in the end 2. It not being "Rebellion" but "the Resistance". Likely a schism in leadership over certain finer details. I believe Leia n Han are no longer together, which might be a "hey, remember that time your dad froze me in carbonite. Good times".

  14. I've picked up Elite Dangerous cos £10 to go flying spaceships around isn't bad. And Stick of Truth cos it's meant to be good (I feel I might miss a fair few references since it was only last year I found out it was still going. T'was episode where Butters shoots the guys in the balls) and it has been £5 in sales often enough. Something to play after Fallout 4. Only bummer is it's end of month, which means short on funds so no looking around for maybe a shiny new monitor or similar. But Boxing Day sales always more impressive. edit: Picked up Elder Signs Omens on Google Play for 78p. edit 2: Yeah ED controls like crap and I can't be arsed to pick up a full flight stick for a £10 game. So refunded it.
  15. I'd say my only issue with it is that for all that this will be the largest hero line-up to date, there was a couple of the bigger wider shots that were maybe a bit too wide and empty seeming (though I guess with the Avengers films Hulk n Thor can flesh out a lot of that space ). It being over Bucky makes sense within the storyline, still a shame we didn't have any cracks in Age of Ultron and this is potentially going to be largely self contained. I wonder if it'll make RDJ's Stark into as big a dick as he was in the comic version. Though a big failing with MCU is lack of a significant roster of proper villains (largely being just Loki, with Thanos brooding in the background) so can't do the whole trick of pulling in the Thunderbolts. This looks to be purely hero-on-hero. Got some T'challa shots too, though no Spider-man. Likely a late-game reveal a bit like Vision was (though in this case less of a "who is that?" from general audience). That Bucky & Cap Am beat down of Tony was pretty good though.
  16. Yeah saw that yesterday, looks kinda fun. Savage looks great. Rory is too Rory for me at the moment, but might come into the role.
  17. Man I should avoid reading some terminals. So I'm clearing out a bunch of raiders when
  18. Reddit user put together a quick guide to Supply Lines for your settlements. Could be useful for a few of you: http://imgur.com/a/EfPub edit: So a query since I've just remembered it's something silly I did and I'm not sure if it was required or optional but in Danses first quest at Arcjet
  19. https://www.google.com/starwars/ If you have a proper Gmail account (as I've found to my disappointment not a Google for Work account) then you can do some stuff with Google services by "Joining the Dark/Light side". Not super sure what so far, apart from new tabs have screens from the film in them now. edit: Youtube loading bars are lightsabers. edit 2: This is a pretty well done remake. I imagine having the Navy dollars to play with helps.
  20. So next week is totally on Gallifrey right?
  21. @GOH: It eventually went alright (though there's a body kicking around my new home), but was pretty tough. Got Castle set up as main base now. I had build Sanctuary up a fair chunk, but it's too big to find companions in and too far away from much of the action. Hangman Alley is more central, but kinda small (though I'm proud of my crammed in skyscraper), so Castle it is. Castle is much more defensible too, even if it sucks on the food front. I've built a barracks for main guys and a home for myself to store my tat in. Carried over a bunch of my Power Armour too, which I'd never bothered with the extra frames at Sanctuary. @Baconrath: For most part mini-nukes are like Megaelexirs in that you'll rarely use them. Might as well use them as a form of currency. edit: This is a pretty good comparison video of the various changes made to models between FO3 n FO4. I kinda prefer the older style ghouls over the current ones.
  22. This week features popular Game of Thrones character
