Oh minor bug I had lately was my gun and pipboy vanished. Was sorta fine, still able to shoot by pointing in middle of the screen. Thankfully went away when I used VATS. Not long before that I jumped on one of those minecart like things, and ended up getting stuck, so had to use the no clip to get out. Also I think I'll take your advice then GOH. I'm..30 or so atm I think. edit:

Essentially, unlike the one used for indie film circuit as posted on previous page, the big films like Hunger Games and such your cinemas server will be hooked up to an authentication server on the distributors end, so you'll need to be hooked up to the net to even play the film on your projector. I imagine cracking the encryption to then re-encode it to something a bit smaller than a 100GB file is probably going to take a fair bit of heft too which your projection PC might be lacking in. And then you've got to hope that if you could decrypt it and recode it and then post it to the net that it doesn't include a signature in like the audio or something (like the tech that disables PS3 from playing some pirated films) that zeroes in on your cinema, where you're one of two projectionists. I imagine cinemas are pretty tight on it, if you're the cinema or cinema chain that can no longer shill your popcorn because Warner Bros won't let you sell tickets to their films any more you're kinda fucked.

Yeah, WAN = Wide Area Network (aka, The Internet, as well as say campus intranet and such), LAN = Local Area Network (aka home/office network). The big difference being how it deals with IPs. The Internet has like all the IPs (even more with IPv6), but LAN is usually on 192.168.0.#, from 1-256 (which obviously limits the amount of devices, and we've counted and at home we're only like at least a dozen at anyone time up to a good two dozen and beyond if we have a party). It uses "subnet masking" which I only know enough of to say that to make sure that if your phone for example requests access to this site, your phone gets the site and not your roomies. In your case your 2nd router was acting as a phone would and making requests as a 192.168.0.# IP, and not making requests as your home IP. I largely avoid networks and printers though, they're the work of the devil.

3 - I've had that issue with Garvey, when he sends me to clear places or make new settlement, but atm he's asking me about sorting out The Castle, which I'm holding off on atm. I incidentally can't make him a companion either due to these options. Hooray for a dialogue system that allows for only 2-4 responses at a time. As for 2, the Minutemen quests (and chunk of BoS ones too) are Radiant Quests like Skyrim had, which is probably why they'll bug out more frequently (and be why both BoS and Preston are having the same "turning in a quest" issues)

I'm not a network engineer and overall it confuses me*, but I'm pretty sure there's a vast difference in cost and hardware between a home router and a university network. Like Ford Focus to Formula 1 orders of magnitude. What I am thinking is maybe a line to follow if my memory serves me is: pursue DMZ Oh and obviously post long term thoughts in Steam console thread. Not that I'm overly interested in it atm since I'm find gaming at my PC, gota TV hooked to it anyway. *I did manage to jerry rig something up when I was at uni to allow my PS3 to connect to the campus network (this is in days before wi-fi was pretty ubiquitous).

Projectionist complained about it, what didn't help was he made an off-hand, obviously non-committal in frustration, remark of "maybe I'll record it and post it online" remark. A percentage of the internet being the dicks they are wanted to doxx him and get him fired. A lot of others were rather appreciative of his "lifting of the curtain" and giving an insight into modern film projectionists job, which inspired the imgur album I have posted.

They're being a bit dicky with launch of new Hunger Games, a projectionist was complaining they're left with 2.5hrs to test film before screening. (I would link, but turns out stuff happened in the past day and it's been removed, from what I can gather a bit of doxxing, and a bit of Lionsgate maybe leaning on people a bit)

http://imgur.com/a/hTjrV A neat look at how movies are delivered to cinemas in a post-reel film. Though I imagine with this being an indie film it might be a bit different to how Star Wars would get shipped around (I've a feeling you might not be able to directly read the files on a Mac for one, likely some pretty stringent DRM in place. Especially given the mentioned Lionsgate thread implies Hunger Games is only "unlocked" for 12hrs).

In the original Deus Ex the skybox didn't include the twin towers in the NYC skyline, the in-game explanation being they'd been destroyed by terrorists some time before. The game came out a year before 9/11. What many folks tend to forget is 9/11 wasn't the only time there was a terrorist attack on the twin towers attempting to knock them down.

Could be interesting.

They've pushed release back by quite a bit, now coming August 2016: https://www.deusex.com/news/Deus-Ex-Mankind-Divided-New-Release-Date Their site is down though, so all I know is the above.

This is why you get in trouble being all niggardly in your international meetings.

Isn't "roster" more a list of people. Like an army roster.

Yeah, I know with this one they've made it so stuff doesn't scale in level, so I'm kinda poking the boundaries a bit. Kinda weird I've gone exploring around Vault 111 last night and raiders that I can look at and their heads pop off whereas similar raiders in the downtown area take a few hits from my beefy combat rifle. Super mutants are doable but largely a pain in the ass still regardless of where they are. Gotta say climbing high on some of the bridges and looking across Boston, the density of the buildings compared to FO3 and New Vegas is really nice. Love the vertical nature of it too, climbing across rooftops. Not quite assassins creed kinda flexibility, but fun none the less. Still got most of the map south of Diamond City to explore too. I should probably go through a few quests I think. Especially if based on GOHs post it'll alert you iff you're too far in a faction quest. I've only met a couple and their asking me to join already and I was a bit wary until I'd all my options laid out. But if you can pursue multiple at once I'll do that. Oh someone pitched 100 BoS against 1,000 Deathclaws: I'm more amazed that the computer didn't collapse, but I guess given engine the issues on "amount of objects in scene" probably less demanding than used to be. Oh yeah I've not bothered with the pixel art lighting, but it seems really stupid to me each one takes 1 power, and it's not like say a board or something to plug them into which takes 1 power or something. They're really dim compared to actual lights, and they work on proximity to a conduit.

I wouldn't say it's a notably hard game, but it's harder than their last two. Especially since there's less bugs/exploits to work with like getting in a weird spot n sniping away. The slow-mo vats and non-instant healing also adds a decent difficulty factor to it (along with radiation affecting health). I reckon given the level cap stuff the end game would work out particularly easy though.

It certainly looks pretty at 4K http://imgur.com/a/GinWK (though the trooper has a few polys going on )

If you give them just a handful will that do, and it makes it "infinite" or will you need to give them enough to cover them for ages? Be a bit fiddly if you need to manage their ammo alongside their equipment. Already kinda fiddly, ammo is in some degrees more of a difficulty curve than much else. I have some neat guns but only about 100 ammo for some of them. Or like 5000 rounds of .45 ammo . In fact I had to use Pipe weapons for a fair bit at the start, with a 10mm being my back-up "powerful" weapon just cos I only had like 30 10mm bullets (now got a few hundred so it's my main).
-
I've noticed the weapon thing too. I'm feeling you might need to give them ammo too maybe? But if so that'll be balls. I know in older games they'd only equip certain styles of weapons. Might be a bug, or might be a feature. Housemate has the guide, I'll ask him tonight if it mentions anything.

I can't answer your question cos I just checked their site and there's 4 versions, with the only change between them being the CPU (which is uncommon to be the main bottleneck in gaming). The GPU is just listed as "Nividia GPU 2GB GDDR5" which doesn't give much to work on (apart from later on it says it outperforms the GeForce 860M, which is a laptop GPU so it's not saying much. Be like me saying I can beat up 6 year old children). In fact them not declaring which GPU they're using and comparing it with a mobile chip would make me super wary tbh. GPU is a big part of how a PC runs a game and them being coy with what they have makes me think it's not super great. They're being pretty detailed on which Intel chip they're using so it's not like it's "to save customer confusion" or whatever excuse they might have. They are also all listed as running Windows 8.1 which is odd (in both being the older Windows operating system and...not SteamOS which I swear Steam Machines are meant to come with). Also all on 8GB of RAM, even high end one doesn't get a 16GB jump which I guess has been revealed as a bit too much atm, but it adds some extra lifespan to it down the line. The GPU stuff is a huge redflag to me. tbh if you're just gonna run Windows, might as well grab any other gaming-style PC(look at the parts used, then grab the equivalent "regular" PC. Then you're not paying the tacky case premium). The ports will all be the same these days for HDMI hook-up and as shown above you'll get noticeable better bang for your buck on a gaming PC running Windows than Steam OS. Steam controller works with both if you're wanting to use that, just pick up separate.

Funny to see that in both threads. Anyway this weekend I was at my dads, watched Terminator Genysis with my dad (which I've already posted about) then on Saturday I was babysitting my younger siblings. I originally wanted to watch Doctor Who, which now I've seen it would have been a terrible idea for the younger kids if I wanted them to go to bed (it was all about how company of future made a device that stops you sleeping, unfortunately this mutates the "sleep dust" into terrible carnivorous monsters) So instead we watched Inside Out, which was a brilliant choice for making kids sleep since it has a plot element about sleeping and sorting your memories out and starting up "Dream Productions" that I could use to encourage them to turn in for the night. It was pretty good, some nice jokes, some touching moments and a good kid friendly look at concepts like depression and such. Man the bit with
